I'm going to start this off by saying that I wasn't even planning on using modern lending for my home loan. I was planning on going through schools first credit Union who I used for my previous mortgage. I was referred to Sean Parsons by my agent who requested we get a pre approval through modern lending to help speed up the process since schools first process is so tedious and takes a while and we wanted to put in a bid on a house right away. I contacted Sean and we got our pre approval within a week (they requested everything up front like bank statements and W2s). During this time and prior to starting the process with modern lending, I was calling my bank for 2+ weeks and finally got a response. I provided them with all the same info and my rate with the credit Union was 0.125% higher! Not only was I shocked at how competitive modern lending rates are compared to a credit Union, their loan process has been the easiest I have ever experienced purchasing a home! We were able to have a 21 day escrow from start to finish! I'm so glad I was referred and now looking at their positive reviews, I'm not surprised! They're seriously the best and make the home buying process seem so easy. Thank you so much Sean, Connie and Ann for all your hard work!! We are sooo excited to be moving into our new home next week!! read more

Brian was referred to me by my dad after he refinanced their home. I contacted Brian late on a Friday and by Monday we were off and running. Brian and his team handled all the details and kept in contact throughout the process. I highly recommend Brian and his team! read more

Every single person who worked with us during the process of purchasing our first home was so kind, informative, and quick to respond. Brian Decker's team made the whole process run so smoothly. When my husband and I had questions, they were so quick to respond. We originally were looking into another lender, but then we decided to contact Brian Decker Guaranteed Rate and he gave us a better interest rate that the first lender we spoke to! I cannot stress enough how great the service was that we received from this lender. Anyone and everyone that needs a home loan should give Brian and his team a call! read more

It was such a pleasure working with Brian and the Guaranteed Rate team. This was our first time buying a home and they were more than willing to answer our millions of questions. We had a last minute issue with the sellers not disclosing a foundation issue and Brian worked hard to come up with a solution that worked in our favor. We were given support at every stage of the process... which is crucial for it being our first time investing in a home. You need to feel confident your broker is working on your side and the Guaranteed Rate team goes above and beyond. Thanks Brian ! read more

I purchased a home in Murrieta and was referred by our realtor to Brian Decker. The process was professional, fast and accurate. All the documents were complete and there was not an unresolvable problem among them. Furthermore I purchased the home across the country and thought I would hit some bumps in the road, but instead Brian was great to work with. He was easy to reach and if unavailable, his assistant was a good source of information. I had priced some other rates and he beat them hands down. I would highly recommend Brian Decker and his team to anyone. He is a gem in this industry. read more

Absolutely worst experience and so unfortunate that this was the first experience my husband and I had with lenders as first time home buyers. We were working with Chris Decker, who always explained things as if it was common knowledge that should already be known. On top of that he ran both me and my husbands credit more than five times stating that it wouldn't affect our scores whatsoever. Low and behold his several inquiries lowered our scores drastically. What completely threw me over the edge was when I reached out to Chris inquiring about something on my credit and never heard back from him, then I get a notification a whole entire month later that he ran my credit once again. I don't understand in what world he would think it's ok to not communicate with us for about a month and then take it upon himself to run our credit once more without even verifying with us or seeing what our status was on everything. Since we didn't hear from Chris for such a long period of time we decided to seek out another lender. Chris decided to then take no responsibility and blame our lowered scores on the ONE inquiry the other lender made and not the five inquiries he initiated. Absolutely worst customer service, severe lack of proper communication, and from my experience they definitely don't have your best interest at heart. read more

Brian and his team were amazing. When I spoke to him in the beginning of my loan process, he told me what loan I would qualify for and he delivered exactly that. He's knowledgeable and trustworthy. He lived up to their name, Guaranteed Rate. I've been in situations where you dont know if you'll actually get the loan and what rate. The rate goes up and you're stuck because you're out of time before your escrow closes. It was a great experience to get exactly what you thought you were going to get. He was referred to me by Team Forss and he did not disappoint. I would definitely use their services again. Thank you Brian and Team! read more

Brian's work is second to none! He reached out to us recently to follow up on a VA streamline and he totally SAVED us. Not only did we see a large reduction in our mortgage (to the tune of 50K) but he also helped us work out issues in a recent tax increase. It would have been a huge financial detriment to us. We are so grateful for his service to us and his proactive action regarding OUR financial well-being. A true professional and servant to his clients. read more

It's rare to find a business, let alone an individual, who puts the client first to the degree that Brian has with us. As first-time home buyers we had no idea where to start and how to move forward. We had actually begun talking with a lender when our realtor voiced some concern with what we were experiencing. Once we began working with Brian we realized just how much difference it made working with a thorough and kind professional. Brian, I was probably one of your more challenging, "helpful" clients but I can't thank you enough for your endless patience and insights. You made this all seem so easy! =D read more

Had a great experience with our home purchase with Brian and his team. From beginning to end everything was smooth and organized. Communication was great and he made the process effortless. Between him and John Cable at Team Forss, buying our beautiful home was a breeze. Brian also sent a house warming gift after we moved in. You will be happy if you go with Brian Decker. He was up front and honest and as long as you are organized with your paperwork and such your home purchase will be easygoing and rather stress free. Thank You to Brian and his team! read more

Simply put, Brian Decker with Loan Depot is the absolute GREATEST lender we could have ever worked with. He and his team blew us away with their exponential efforts and outstanding customer service. They went above and beyond each and every day to keep us informed and feel 100% comfortable. We are SO grateful that our amazing realtor Justin Short connected us with Brian and his team. They are the reason our dreams came true! Being only 24 and 29 years old, we didn't ever imagine we could own our first home this young. But...Brian made it happen! Not only do we own a home that perfectly suits us and our two dogs, but most importantly, we are not financially strapped. Brian was able to make it so that we could still live comfortably and not come out totally cash poor. I could go on and on about how fantastic he made this experience for us. The mortgage loan process was extremely easy and convenient! It took me about 10 mins to fill out the application and upload the requested information. This was perfect because I have a very busy schedule. I was immediately updated on the process as it occurred. Time, efficiency and customer service were the most important aspects for me and they exceeded my expectations for all 3. I now have the house that I wanted at a fair rate. read more
