Instead I got a quote from a no name company at a very high price compared to my other inquiries. I call the Murrieta office, speak to a gentleman who tells me to ignore it since I am all up to date. Fast forward to 3 months later I have now received a notice from a collections agency for the same amount I had called about and was told all was paid and up to date. Turns out a new policy was written and a balance was left on the old which no one was competent enough to catch even when asked about it point blank. Now, my credit score is impacted AND my current policy is still with them - for now. What is the purpose of having a broker? What is the benefit of being with Barranca? Why call and speak to a representative when they don't care to actually help? What needs to happen to have the same people getting payment for a service to care about actually providing said service? If you are shopping for insurance I suggest you take your business elsewhere.

I just wanted to put this out there for other like-minded people who want to know the kind of person they are dealing with when making what is, for most, the biggest purchase of their lives. As to his response on this review - I was neither upset nor seeking his assistance. This email and his responses to other negative feedback speak for themselves. Judging by some of the other negative reviews, it sounds like he is quicker to respond to someone who ISN'T interested in his services than others who are. Friday came and went, I tried calling and received no response until 9 PM when he emailed me to say he was sorry he was unable to speak with me and offered to reschedule the appointment. Don't ask me how it took 5.5 hours for him to communicate that he could not make the appointment despite the multiple email confirmations I received from his business. I was going to give him the benefit of the doubt but today AGAIN he did not follow through or answer my call during the scheduled appointment time. Again, I received multiple emails confirming the date and time. All I can think of is he does not need the business and is running a very unprofessional organization.
