They are very rude and very unintelligent. They cannot keep their clients information organized and confuse information every phone call. When you try to understand or repeat what you were previously told they have a very rude attitude when all the customer is asking for is clarification. I had a great experience with them the first time I applied. Everything went smoothly. With a perfect payment history I was pre-approved for another loan but couldn't qualify without cosigner or a car (had recently gotten into a car accident so I no longer had a car). I applied again once I had a car and was told once more I was pre-approved but now they're saying they have no options for me. If that were just the problem then I'd leave it as annoying business practices. My issue is specifically regarding this branch (and Chula Vista). I set an appointment for Monday. Received a text telling me that they were having staff issues and will get a hold of me as soon as possible. I don't receive a call until 5:20 (Chula Vista). The call mysteriously disconnects and I call back but it's too late. No one picks up because it's after 5:30. I reschedule myself online. I call at the time of my appointment and am out on hold. Call disconnects. I call again and am told the person I was supposed to talk to just took in a walk in. What?? During my scheduled time? Am told I'll get a call back between 1-2. I don't get anything until 3:30. Mind you at this point I had rescheduled again for 4pm since no one got back to me. I am told that there's nothing for 4 and that no one can help me. I was supposed to have my meeting at 11;20. Yes? That's the time I called and was told that the person took a walk in. How is that my fault? Am told maybe I can have my call the next day at 9am which doesn't work for me because that's when I start work. After expressing frustration someone helps me. Only to be told two days later that there's nothing for me despite being told my chances were high. Incredibly dissatisfied with the service and it's hard to believe that they did everything right when they're so disorganized. read more

I have used this company on and off for a couple of years and until just recently have run into these really shady situations where I can get no response from the branch manager, the customer service people I pick up the phone are so unbelievably rude. I have actually recorded conversations. My last loan request I placed November 2024 and I was on medical leave so I was receiving medical disability, but it was still more than enough to pay my loan and they gave me the loan. They asked me if I wanted to sign up for additional insurance like unemployment and life insurance among others and I signed up for unemployment and I signed up for life insurance. they knew that I was on disability again. I was very clear about that. I gave them the paperwork that I received showing what money I was making apparently two or three weeks into the loan they canceled my unemployment insurance that I was paying for and according to them they refunded whatever monies with no questions for me if I was wanting to cancel it they just did it on their own. They kept the life insurance so they're still charging me for the life insurance, but they took it upon themselves when they realized that I was on medical disability to cancel the unemployment? So when I called and asked what I needed to do in case my medical disability ended and I had to go on unemployment how could I use this insurance that I'm paying for and that's when they said oh that's been canceled. you don't have it and we can't reinstate it and I kept saying well. Show me where I canceled it give me a recording or a piece of paper or something that I signed or the name of the person that I spoke to and they could never get that information and they kept saying somebody will call you and give you more information that never happened so then they have me call the third-party insurance and all they said to me was it was canceled we don't know who canceled it, but you don't have it and you can't get it back so now I'm screwed if I do go on unemployment I no longer have the insurance that I signed up for and nobody there can give me proof of when it was canceled and why it was canceled to me. I believe they realize that I was on medical disability and they decided oh shit. She's probably going to go on unemployment. Let's take this off of her loan without telling me and katrina who I spoke to yesterday told me what we sent you a letter and that's all we're obligated to do. I never received a letter from them stating that they had canceled the unemployment insurance so I have reached out to legal counsel to see what my options are, but I would be very careful using this company. Not only are they unprofessional and rude but the person that I was "lucky "enough to speak to was so vile and rude and so unprofessional talking about her coworkers and how everybody had quit and there's a bunch of new people and we're just gonna have to deal with it as the customer... That's what you have to look forward to . I'm still waiting for the manager to call me but at this point I feel like it would just be easier to hand this over to counsel and stay out of it. RUN AWAY!!! Don't let them run your credit by falling for the pre-qualification scam. Total waste of a hard inquiry when they could have just had a general application. They make you link up your bank account and want to call your employer even after getting a recent pay stub. Its 10k not a mortgage. Stick with legitimate banks because the lender is a joke and clearly they don't care about your credit or you for that matter. They don't deserve 1 star read more

From conversations on the phone to her coming in on a Saturday to meet me (I work Mon-Fri & couldn't make it in) I was very impressed with how accommodating she was for me. To be honest I was a little nervous and slightly embarrassed to be filing for a loan and she made me feel at ease and that they were there to do nothing but help me in my time of need.
