I opened a saving checking account with this bank 4 years ago and deposited 1K because I was told they were good for solar loans. I did not need solar loan and decided to keep my money with them. In May this year, I called them to close the account and wanted to get my money back. They told me that my balance is only 800 because they charged me fees due to the fact that they once sent me the statement to my address and got returned. I told them that I still own the house all this year. All they had to do was to call me or email me, but did not do any of that. Instead, they charged me monthly fees due to "unable to contact customers" that I had not heard of such fee until now. I requested to speak to the manager and did not get even a phone call. I got a small refund check of $105 for a fee. They said that they also mailed a check of 800 to me in May, but as of today, I still have not received it yet. I called few days ago and they said they sent it to the CA unclaimed dept. (not sure why). I had to call them several times and each time each rep promised that they would take care it, but I have not heard or received the 800. Needless to say, deposited 1K 4 years ago in a saving account with this bank and at best, I will get back $905 after many phone calls/hours spent with their agents that repeatedly said they have no ability to help except relating my messages to their back office that never call me back. Overall, I would stay away from this bank as far as you can. This is the most terrible credit union bank I have dealt with in my 50+ years. read more

I have an auto loan with Frontwave. Their customer service is garbage. It appears they are using a 3rd party service (possibly overseas). That means your banking information is being seen by a person who is not an employee of Frontwave. You rarely get a person who knows what they are talking about and there is typically a language barrier. read more

My 18yr old son and i applied for an auto loan to try and start building His credit and teach him to be a responsible Adult. After being denied for the auto loan the canceled his account My account and my Wife's account for the reason we sell Marijuana. We do not sell any type of Marijuana however we do sell Stainless steel tanks, mesh filter screens and Brute trash cans and stainless stirring tools. We do not sell any Marijuana Thc products AT ALL. Basically because we sell Equipment to the Marijuana industry they closed our accounts. I feel so bad for my son as he is being treated like a criminal and this is not how we should raise our future generations. Now my son is scared to even open a bank account and this makes me so sad. Our banking systems are Basically corrupt. Obviously this bank is pretty awful anyways as the reviews reflect that... read more

I had to get change real quick before our regular bank closes and this bank was nearby where we were eating. Just had to get $6 in quarters for a New Years tradition from a $20 bill. Went up to the older blonde teller and asked politely if I could get change. She looked at me, as I'm wearing all my Marine Corps Veteran sweater and hat, asked if I was a member. I said no, and she said that she couldn't help me because I wasn't a member. I thought this bank was made for Veterans and the Armed Forces, and yet you couldn't help me get change from a $20 bill. I get it if it's a larger bill for scamming purposes, but it's only $20 dollars. Now my family have to rush to our regular bank just for change before they close! THANKS FOR YOUR "SUPPORT" FrontWave CU in Temecula!! Never going to be a future customer for sure now!! read more

I came by to open a new savings account for my son, and they told me it would be 45 minutes due to 1 employee going to lunch. The manger sat in her office the entire time and basically said oh well they will have to wait instead of helping us herself. This is the 3rd bad experience I have had with them. They also messed up on my auto loan transfer and charged me 3 months of added I interest due to them not being able to handle The title transfer properly. If it was easy to switch banks I'd be gone. Do not start new business Here if you can help it! read more

If you have a interest in this BANK Do not get a LOAN. You'll get more than a withdrawal. If you apply for a credit card and a car loan even if you've applied for them years apart the branch will lump it all together. Your two separate loans becomes one without any notice until you're late on one or the other. Then the explanation will be it doesn't matter of the dates you're a member. When the credit card doesn't have anything to do with a car loan. Making it impossible to keep your credit line available and then shutting down your ATM access and threatening of repoing your vehicle. You can pay on time for year and get behind a month and Watch out!!! The Branch you thought you stood strong on because they are a credit union that is Military Services will shatter into small wood chip pieces with Maria in charge of the wood chipper. The quality of Maria's costumer service to help a member in need is nothing short of a power struggle. If a member tries to refinance with another Bank it will be with every intention NOT TO let that member go. This bank will again combine your credit card loan with your car loan making your entire pay off loan exceed what your car loan was approved for causing the value of your car not worth the refinancing. Please give them no interest and Vault out of there!!!! Unless you will be trapped with a undeserved balance. read more

This is the BEST finical institute I have worked with!! I have banked here for 20 years!! I will continue to use them for the remainder of my life, because of the personal touches of those mentioned below and many others over the years! They have extremely empathetic and easy to work with staff. This month alone I have requested and received 3 increase in my debit card limits allowing me make purchases in my crypto account that Chase would not allow. The personal attention of Jose and Thelma made the difference in me hitting major investment deadlines!! I am eternally grateful for their Love&Light!! read more

Lame service. Untrained employees and lousy communication during a a fraud attempt on our cards. My wife and i were both locked out of our accounts and then it's two weeks to get a new debit card?! Awful!! Time for a new banking solution asap. read more

I've been banking with PMCU for about 3 years now and they've been really good to me so far. I was with Chase before for over 9 years but they ended up screwing me over pretty bad so it's nice to be with a small credit union. I have a auto loan from this bank with good interest. This location is great and the service is always good. The staff treat you well and really know how to take care of you. The only thing I feel needs improvement is accessibility. There are not many branches out there and not much you can do without having to go into one. Overall great bank and great location in a convenient spot read more

Been banking with them for several years. They've always met or exceeded my financial needs.

BEWARE IF YOU FINANCE THRU FRONTWAVE CREDIT UNION. I bought a Harley in April and decided to finance it to conserve my cash flow for my move and not only did they raise my rate (mind you I have outstanding credit) but because I made a simple mistake of not adding collision and had just liability which I corrected a month later, they charged me $360 for 1 month of insurance saying I had a lapse in insurance. That is more than my bike payment. They would do nothing about it... So guess what.. It's getting paid off in 3 weeks and I'm never using them again for anything. You lost a customer for life Frontwave. Fricken extortion! Charging me that for a month that has already passed. It's a fine, not coverage. Show me the policy in which you covered me! read more

Frontwave CU representative Vashti has helped my wife and I a couple of times with our needs. She consistently has gone above and beyond to help us: one with a vehicle purchase loan and the other was a personal loan. Vashti has excellent customer service and communicated with us every step of the process. This is the best banking experience we have ever had! We are lifetime customers because of Vashti and the employees she works with! Thank you all for being amazing! read more

I've been a member of PMCU for over seven years and I'm happy with them. I never had a problem with them and anytime I need something they are there for me. I used to go to the one that was next to BJ's and I liked that location better it just seemed bigger. Customer service is great here when they make a mistake they own it and fix it. I don't like when people try to say it's your fault and how you didn't do this or that. I don't care who's fault it is just fix it and that's what I get at PMCU which is why the customer service is so great. read more

My son got a loan through this company when it was called Pacific Marine. he was in the Marine Corp stationed in San Diego at the time. He is one of the many people that is not working with no income dealing todays Covad crisis. He called them to ask for an extension to make his payment which there are only 3 payments left. The flatly told him no and that will repossess his ca if he doesn't make a payment. So much for serving your country and for companies helping people in this unprecedented time of need. read more

We've been banking here for a few years now. I've been to this branch several times and the customer service has always been excellent. They're very thorough and helpful. Today, when my other bank, US Bank caused a problem with my ATM card, Ivonne went above and beyond to help me. The staff waited for me well after closing while I was on the phone with US Bank. I have never had a bad experience when visiting this branch or any other PMCU location. read more

Horrible experience!! I bank at another credit union. Went here as a shared branch location. They kept messing up. Froze my account for too many transactions. And then when I checked my account they had draft 3 times. 2 were supposed to be voided. So 3 times the money was taken in error. Trying to get it back from them is a nightmare. Already an hour on the phone and now they are telling me I have to go back to the branch for resolution. Update: went back to bank branch like the said and they couldn't help. Couldn't even give me proof that it was voided. All they did was take my info. Was told they would call me back by end of day. read more

I wanted to open an account here because it's close to my house and would prefer a smaller bank. Turns out, it must take an act of congress to get an account open. I've filled out application and waited for someone to contact me. And waited. And waited. Finally I called, was on hold 18 minutes. The girl that answered was of no help and just said the one and only lady that could help me was in the phone. ONE person in that company?!? Anyway I was reassured that someone would contact me by end of day. Guess what? No one did. Pacific Marine Credit Union - people are TRYING to give you their money! Unfortunately the lack of interest you show in acquiring new clients cost you my business. All the reviews on here are met with the same robotic response that it's "not on par" with their service. Sorry to say, yes it is.... read more

Frontwave Credit Union - Winchester - Right across from Pick up stix - Banks & Credit Unions Near Me - Temecula, California

I have a Car loan through Golden 1 CC in Sacramento. I needed to go into a Branch for a transaction, so the closest affiliate to me is Frontwave on Winchester. I stopped in explained my situation to a Banker, she told me the teller could help me. I went up to a teller named Daisey. I explained my complicated situation to her and she said she could help me. She ended up having to call G-1 and sat on hold forever. When they finally came on, she took care of my issue with G-1, even though they were giving her crap. She stayed professional at all times, we got the car payment squared away, with no help from the POS G-1. We finished the transaction. I would have to recommend them as while I was there they seemed like a very attentive crew working to all Customers that came in. Thanks again Frontwave & Daisey for all your help and showing G-1 how to be a Community Credit Union!!! read more

Tried to use the espress banking provided by PCMU. What a mess that is. Apparently PMCU deside to consolidate your acounts into you primary account. This means that if you had more than one account they all fall under one. Good luck trying to access an acount that is not considered the primary account. What this means if you share an account lets say with your wife and either of you open a seperate account both parties willl have access to the information of the seperate account. Good luck using express bank for the account that is not the primary account. Don't try to seperate the accounts into seperate accounts because you cant without going into one off the offices and all I can say to that is good luck. I ask why desided consolidate two or more accounts under a primary? I am sure the process made sense to the program writer but for me as a user of express banking the whole process as it is now is fucking worthless to me and a whole lot of other members. If the tellers have to call off site to seek help then there is yet another concern. I have been banking witrh PMCU for 20 years and this is by far the worst service provided. I hope that whomever is responsible for this shit has the brains to fix it. read more

I don't understand all the negative reviews about this particular branch. I absolutely love coming to this bank! It sounds silly I know, all the tellers know me and greet me as a friend. Thank you tellers on Winchester road for always having a smile on your faces! read more

Frontwave or more affectionately known as Pacific Marine sucks. So I bought a hotel room and they killed my card and declined over dinner. This Credit Union acts like the big banks with outrageous bank fees and very poor customer service. This is one of the worst so called Credit Union that I have experienced. I will not recommend the CU to anyone. They really need to listen to its customers and don't try to be like the big money hungry banks. The tellers seem nice but call the 800 number and you will know why they receive bad feedback. read more

Customer service is good. But I mainly use the ATM since I'm working during their business hours. Why is the ATM always freaking broken?! Literally 1-2 times a week it's down. Makes no sense. Probably one of the worst credit unions you could be a part of. USAA and Navy Fed are 10X better. Their customer service is non existent. They are impossible to reach. I utilized the online messaging system and again they were unhelpful. They didn't offer any solutions or make an attempt to help. I would not suggest them to anyone. Its a shame they Marine Corps sets recruits up with them, sets them up for failure. read more

Stay away from this place, When there to open a saving account waited 30 mins for help, long lines i noticed at the counter. Finally get help, she tells me that the need to pull a full credit report and will ding my credit. WTF is a savings account I am depositing my money not asking for a loan. To top it off after they screw your credit you will have hold placed on anything that you deposit in the account for 30 days. I suggest going somewhere else where you are not treated like a criminal more like a customer read more
