I worked with Alonso Lerma and he was an excellent Loan Officer! He was fast at collecting all my information and processing the loan for me. He was readily available when I had questions and he explained the process well. He updated me every step of the way, whenever the status had come closer to us getting loan documents drawn. I was never left guessing where I was in the process. Alonzo took the time to call me personally, on a number of occasions when a text wasn't enough to answer a question. I thought that type of service had completely gone away; so many businesses are just responding via text and it's hard to get the personalism back and that human connection. Our house buying journey could have been a script for a made for TV movie, with the plot twists, direction changes and ultimately, the Happy Ever After!! I'm not one to EVER write a review on a place but from the so called positive reviews I saw this company had I felt I needed to put this out there for people to be warned. I spoke to Sean Parsons, whom I stated in the beginning that I just wanted to see how much home I can qualify for as an estimate not exact numbers. Sean was willing to help but stated he needed all my bank statements, credit info, paystubs, etc. I felt that was a bit much since I just was trying to find an estimate but I provided it to him. After submitting everything he gave me a number of what I can qualify for. I then stated I'd like to add my fiance on as well to see what she would qualify for with me but just wanted an estimate not exact numbers since she has her own business the tax return isn't going to be accurate since her business started taking off really these past 6 months. He asked for her tax returns. I sent a PDF that did have her taxes. I also sent a screenshot with just the number reported on her tax returns. I stated again to him I just want an estimated number with how much more I would qualify for with my fiance on their since he ended up just giving me the exact number I would qualify for on my own. 7 days later he finally responds back saying the tax return PDF I sent is password protected. I told him that I sent a screenshot that shows her tax return numbers and that I am just looking for an "estimate" from the numbers I sent of how much more we could possibly qualify for. Sean told us no he will not provide just an estimate and needs to see what she reports on her tax return. I emailed a few other partners they have at their company asking if they can instead work with me instead of Sean just asking if I can get just an estimate with my fiance since they already now have my exact number I qualify for. I never received an email back. I feel that this company discriminates on a specific client base. They choose who they are more willing to help than others and since I was just trying to get some type of estimate I was put as the back burner. Anyone who reads this, just be warned that this company only cares about getting your information, then deciding where to put you as far as their priority list. It took Sean 7 days to answer me back after he found out how much I qualified then once I gave him a number of what my fiance made he knew where to put me. Brian's associates were amazing, Brian himself not so much. After trying to "cross qualify" me in an attempt to steer me away from the lender I was already set on using. Once I made it clear I would not be using Brian and would like him to complete the cross qualification which should have only taken a day he declined to finish the work.
