Let me start off by saying that we had an amazing experience working with Nathan at Modern lending. This was our first home purchase and we had little to no knowledge going into the whole process. Nathan was very knowledgeable and walked us through the process one step at a time with ease. Any questions we had were answered right away. His promptness and professionalism were truly exceptional. He also introduced us to Sophie, who assisted with the underwriting process. She too was very helpful and made our experience delightful. It was a pleasure working with her as well. We couldn't have asked for a better lender to work with. I highly suggest giving him a call for all your lending needs. You will not be disappointed! read more

I was in the real estate business for years until I decided to venture off and start a new business with my husband. I met Nathan towards the end of my real estate day however he was always very professional and on top of his game. So even as I left real estate I have always and will continue to send him referrals. This not just comes from knowing him but I have refinanced my house twice with him and he really does live up to his reputation. Sofia and the rest of his team are on top of everything throughout the process. They are efficient and thorough with the transaction and you never feel lost or wondering what stage you are at. I enjoyed working with his team! If you are a first time buyer or seasoned investor this is the team to work with. They are amazing and I will continue to refer my friends and family to them. Nathan made the mortgage process as painless as it could be. Going into the whole real estate process I thought it was going to the a long drawn out painful process. It wasn't. Nathan and his team provided invaluable information to my wife and I. We closed escrow in 3 weeks, it couldn't have been any easier. Very organized. We provided the information, he delivered the results. Nathan reponds quickly and provides the best information to his customers. He is always looking out for your best interests. Nathan will make sure you are comfortable & confident in making these life changing decisions. He will go the extra mile to help. If you are looking for a mortgage lender, Nathan Chabolla is the guy to see. I will continue to do busy with Nathan in the future. read more

On Yelp, Nathan's "hours" are listed as 6:00am-5:30am. Trust me, they're open that remaining 30 minutes as well. Nathan and his whole team (I personally talked to Nathan, Sophie, Ryan and Melissa), are all top notch and extremely professional. My wife and I had previously started with another mortgage lender in an attempt to purchase our first home who dropped the ball. At the extremely high recommendation of a friend I called Nathan. After speaking to Nathan for the first time I new I had made the right call. He explained the entire process and had a list of things my wife and I needed to do prior to really beginning. Once we got our end done things got started. In my mind we were by no means an client but Nathan and his team were always honest and inspired confidence. Once pre-approved Nathan even set us up with a great realtor who new the area and market very well. This is when Nathan and his team really came through. After finally looking for homes we realized that we were going to want to spend a bit more on our home than what we originally thought. This wasn't a problem, Nathan worked some top-secret magic and got things to work out. I truly don't know if another lender would have thought of the things they did. Once in escrow his team was amazing. If any little thing came up they were on top of it. Everyone was extremely responsive with any questions we had through calls, texts and emails. I felt bad the time I though of a question at 9pm and emailed a question to Sophie, who sent a reply within 10 minutes. Even when the escrow company (who they did not pick) messed something up at closing, they continued to work on it and get everything straightened out quickly. We have now been in our home for just over 2 months and absolutely love it. Though I can't imagine moving anytime soon, when the time comes we will be contacting Nathan again. I can't recommend everyone in Nathan's enough. If you have any real estate or mortgage questions your first call should be to Nathan. The number listed is his cell phone. He will either answer or call back very quickly. read more

Nathan was outstanding to work with. I've been through the finance process before and it seems like there is always a surprise at some point but, not with Nathan. Everything during the process was exactly what he said it would be. Once the closing docs came in I had some questions that I felt maybe an annoyance to Mate but he took the time to go over it with me line by line until I was satisfied with my understanding of the docs. Will definitely recommend them to anybody I k ow looking for a mortgage loan! read more

We were broken down on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere on a saturday night at 11 pm and it was 110 degrees and snowing and it was christmas eve. yeah thats it. and Nathan and his team came to our rescue and not only changed our tire, but also gave us great advice on how to do burpees and pull ups. Seriously, nobody reads these things anyways...... But Nathan can do loans and refinances and if you stand around long enough he'll tell you. read more

Nathan and his team are the absolute definition of professionals. Their mortgage team is one of the most knowledgeable group we came across and what was most impressive was their ability to beak it down in way that we could understand. Their rates are VERY competitive against other mortgage companies and someone was always available to speak with us. If we called in and Nathan was unavailable he always made sure that someone from his team called within minutes to get our questions answered. Often times they would respond to emails late at night even though we were not expecting a response until the next business day. We didn't understand the difference between a direct lender vs a broker and now that we know, we understand that a direct lender is the only way to go. Nathan was always able to provide accurate answers because nothing left his office. His processor and underwriters are in his office so when we needed answers he was able to get them very quickly!!!! Buying a home is stressful and they took that all away and what we like most was they set the proper expectations... A lot of lenders told us what we "wanted" to hear and the Chabolla team told us what we "needed" to hear and in the end... They delivered. The Chabolla team is there for ALL your real estate needs!!! Give them a call, you won't be sorry!!! read more

Nathan and his team are miracle workers! I worked with a couple of different lenders before my realtor introduced me to Nathan. My situation was unique and no one wanted to fund me... Immediately Nathan calmed my fears and ensured me I would get into a home. He was true to his word. He and Sophie held my hand throughout the whole long process. I am blessed to have worked with such a professional and kind group of people.... They are now my family! Thank you again Nathan and Sophie for your dedication and hard work! I am referring all of my friends to you! read more

We have used Nathan and his team, Sophie, Sara, Shawn and April for several years. I recommend Nathan and his team to any new home buyers, refi's or real estate needs. They are honest, friendly and quick! They ALWAYS respond to emails, text, calls in a timely manner and work efficiently to to close the deal. Nathan and Sophie went over our rate options and helped us choose the best financial solution for us. I know we will be using Nathan again to lower our rate now that he helped us get on track with our debt and credit scores. You will not be disappointed in this team, I promise! read more

How can I truly describe how amazing and hard working Nathan and Sophie have been with our first home purchase?! From the beginning steps of requests pre approvals literally everywhere to compare rates and most importantly service, Nathan was spot on and provided us with a clear and up front approach of the process since we had never been through it. We appreciated the up front approach because at no time did we ever question or wonder what was going on or what step was next...did I mention he provided a clear and concise escrow map? You will not believe how easy it was to understand the process...of course we know how much hard work and elbow grease Nathan, Sophie, and their team put into our loan and gave it that personal touch which made us feel comfortable and gain a trust in them immediately there after! Great communication, down to earth and upfront, and you can honestly feel that they care about helping little ol' us! We are so happy we found Nathan on Yelp and never expected getting such a low rate and superior customer service, other lenders got nothing on them, and yes that includes those larger banks/credit unions that employee people that work a 9-5 with no intent of pushing that extra mile to help someone after hours...Nathan and Sophie really accomplished this and by the looks of it, we are not the only family that has been blessed by these amazing persons and professional individuals that have inspired is to go that extra mile and pay it forward to others. Thank you for making this big stressful step in our life seem so easy and pleasant...and at the end of the day we made a new set of great friends, we wish you the very best and know your prestigious business will only continue to grow...and don't ever change! And lastly, thank you for showing my husband that people still do acknowledge and appreciate our Marine Corps Vets. read more

My realtor recommend Nathan and his team when I reached out to her asking for referrals to start my refinance. Let me start by saying he was on it answers all my questions and got the process start ASAP. I was very impressed by his professionalism willingness to help us get it done. This is our first refi and we definitely had tons of questions. We did have a few hiccups that had nothing to do with Nathan but he was very patient with us and helped us seal the deal. We would definitely use Nathan and his team again in the future. We have already referred him to a family and friends. read more

My wife and I recently just refinanced our home mortgage and we used Wholesale Capital Corporation. Our interaction with our Loan Officer Nathan Chabolla and his team was such a smooth enjoyable experience. I remember first purchasing our home and all the paperwork was such a hassle. When we refinance with WCC it was a totally different story. Everything was set up for us. When we had questions they were thoroughly answered. Everyone we interacted with treated my wife and I like royalty! It was such a warm feeling to have such great customer service. WCC customer service was more like customer care...because they truly cared. To top everything off, Nathan Chabolla and his team at WCC were able to QUICKLY approve us with a new loan at the interest rate that we were looking for. I highly recommend WCC to anyone looking to finance a home. My wife and I feel like we are apart of the WCC family now that we have completed our loan with them. Thanks so much to Nathan Chabolla, Sophie Harvey and the rest of the AMAZING TEAM!!!!!!!!! read more

I don't typically write reviews for services or goods I purchase but I felt the need to write up a review for my experience with getting a mortgage refi with Nathan Chabolla and his team. This is my second time dealing with the mortgage process and it blew my first experience out of the water. Nathan was extremely helpful and approachable in helping my wife and I understand the refinance process and I can felt he was genuinely looking out for our best interest. Nathan was able to get my interest rate down more than a full percent to 3.625% and did it an extremely fast manner. Every request we asked of, Nathan delivered on. Sophie Harvey, the sales assistant, was phenomenal at responding to my emails and texts within minutes whenever we had questions. The processors Tawna and Shawn also helped us get the paperwork done very quickly and answered all my questions I had. April at GuaranteedRate was amazing as well. We went from assuming this whole refi process would be confusing and stressful but Nathan and his team made it extremely easy to understand, saved us $100's a month on our monthly payments, and it was stress free. I highly recommend using Nathan and his team as I will definitely use him in the future. Awesome experience! read more

First off let me say that I am so thankful for all the work our loan officer Nathan and his team put in to our loan. It was a seamless process! Sophie was always available for questions. She was always quick to respond. There was never a time where we had to wait and worry. She was very patient with us and took the time to answer questions we had even if they were repeat questions. She understood that even though she does this on a daily basis, some of the real estate jargon was foreign to us. Tanya, Shawn and April were extremely professional and were quick to get documents to us. The whole team was a pleasure to work with! Felt like we got the VIP treatment. I am a realtor in LA and the listing agent recommended we use Nathan as the preferred lender. I was a little hesitant at first but Nathan was on it. I have closed a lot of deals and Nathan and his team was extremely proactive and one step ahead of the game through out the entire process. I have worked with all kinds of lenders and there are only a few I would recommend. I strongly recommend Nathan for all of your lending needs. Thanks for a quick and easy escrow!! read more

Our experience with Nathan and his team at Wholesale Capital was fantastic! Not only did they give us a very competitive pre-approval amount and rate, but as first time homebuyers, they made the daunting process super straightforward and easy. We LOVED being able to do everything via email. So fast, easy, and best of all, organized! We ran into a few hiccups with the investors, but with Sophie's incredibly fast response times, we got our house! And a shout out to Alex Lopez as well - he's a fantastic agent! We couldn't have done it without them. Thank you all so much! read more

My husband and I had been debating for quite some time on whether or not we were going to take the plunge and purchase a home again. We wanted to see what we could afford and reached out to Nathan Chabolla at WCC Loans who had done the loan for one of our family members who had rave reviews about Nathan. After sending back requested documents, Nathan quickly let us know what we could be pre-approved for. Once we made the decision that a home purchase was in our future, we contacted Nathan and he put us in contact with an amazing real estate agent who found us our dream home that same week! We've purchased a few homes before this, so we've had experience with other mortgage lenders and the entire escrow process. I have to say that Nathan and his staff, in all aspects of this business, are miles above the rest, no one comes close! This was absolutely the best home buying experience we have ever had, and believe me we've had some pretty bad experiences with other lenders. Nathan and his staff, in particular Sophie, were the most impressive and responsive loan officers I have ever worked with. They are on top of everything, making things happen that you probably will never even know about because it's just handled. I loved getting emails & calls from Sophie who would touch base with us throughout the process, and give any updates she could provide. I had no stress during this process, which was a first, the only stress we probably had was that they were so on top of everything that escrow was able to close early, so we had to get moving!! Nathan and his staff demonstrate great professionalism but without being stuffy and rigid. You are getting a group of real people who have a sense of humor, like to have fun, and genuinely care about their clients and work hard for them. Without a doubt, if we ever purchased and/or refinanced again, it would be through Nathan Chabolla at WCC!! read more

Nathan is a true professional. It was a pleasure working with him. He is very knowledgeable, very friendly and very helpful. I actually found Nathan on Yelp several months prior to our family being able to purchase a home, one of his team members helped get us on the right path to get approved and when we re-engaged their customer service was exceptional. After spending time with us on the phone and counseling us, it was determined that because of the home we wanted to purchase they were not the right lender for our specific scenario, and instead of just saying good luck and sending us on our way, he referred us to someone within his network that could help get the job done. Thank you Nathan, these positive reviews are well earned. read more

Nathan and his staff did an amazing job of completing our loan for our home. The communication was excellent and my wife and I both felt that the customer service was great. They answered all of our questions and got the job done. We were sent our documents electronically to sign, which was great because we could read and sign the documents anywhere. Furthermore, he gave us amazing advice and explained our loan choices thoroughly. I would highly recommend Nathan to anyone who is in the market for a new home loan. read more

I actually ENJOYED the mortgage process because Nathan and his team made it so easy. Now how many people can say that about their mortgage broker? Hmmmmm???!!! I called Nathan on a recco from my best friend and chatted with him for a while. He's a great down to earth family guy who really loves what he does. Super easy to talk to, and very receptive to what our home buying hopes were. He went over everything from first steps, to what kind of monthly payments I was looking at depending on rate, down etc... He covered it all. I'm the type of guy that likes to know things, and he gave me a great basic understanding of the process. The process of getting the loan approved was easy! Send in some paperwork, some pay stubs and poof! Done! He made sure that we were ahead of the process so we weren't rushing or scrambling to get stuff together which made the whole thing stress free. He was great at planning ahead and letting us know what's coming up. He and his team were always on the ball and always available by email and cellphone if we had any questions or concerns. To me THAT was a huge relief knowing that they were always there to help us out. We had to get a pre approval letter together for a last minute offer at 10pm one evening, so I sent a text to Nathan to let him know. Nathan and Sophie got it to our agent in less than an hour and that's the house we ended up getting! Had they not been so available or willing to help, we'd still be looking for a house right now! My real estate agent was thoroughly impressed as well and sent him another client while we were in escrow! Nathan was able to lock in a great rate right before things started to go up, and the loan was approved in two or three days by the lender. Really easy! Now, I'm not saying everyone is going to have it that easy, but I will say that Nathan and team are going to work their butts off to try and make it as smooth as possible. These are the people you want helping you with one of the biggest purchases you'll ever make. Period. read more

I reached out to Nathan after a not so great experience with my first lender. Nathan got to work right away and offered better rates overall. He sent me a video breaking down the initial figures so I could review and refer back to at my convenience. Him and Sophie were on top of things throughout the process, provided updates at every milestone via up to the minute text and emails with little videos explaining where things were and what to expect next, and promptly responded to all my questions and concerns. Nathan and the Modern Lending team allowed me to breeze through and make up for lost time (due to prior lender's shenanigans) getting me to the closing mark within 3 weeks. I felt supported along the way and truly appreciate the top notch communication which is just as important as doing things (and ensuring everyone else does too) timely. I'd use their services again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for home financing. read more

This review is from my mother, Caroline; I am posting it on her behalf since she does not have a yelp account: Let me begin by saying I am extremely pleased with the assistance Nathan and his team provided my husband and I in refinancing our home loan. Beyond their prowess over matters of real estate, Nathan and his team are committed to providing the highest level of service to their customers. I am a customer who tends to ask many questions and voice even the most minor of concerns, Nathan's team made themselves readily available to me at any time to respond to my questions and concerns.
