This is somewhat of an odd review lol - but it's a positive experience I want to share. About 6 weeks ago, I called Escrow Leaders on behalf of my company with a very unusual request involving a legal public records search. I'd prefer not to provide details on the request itself, as I both don't want Escrow Leaders to be inundated with similar requests (since they do not ordinarily sell this service), and because it ties into a potential lawsuit that my company (the California Council on Problem Gambling, a nonprofit organization that works to help people struggling with gambling addictions) may need to initiate to recover stolen funds. At any rate. this was a very unique situation for us, and a service we had never purchased before. We did not really know who to call or where to start. So, after making quite a few calls, I wound up speaking with Tiffany from Escrow Leaders. Tiffany was truly awesome. Even though it was not a service that Escrow Leaders providers, after hearing our story and why we were looking for that specific information, she took a significant amount of time out of her day to try to help. She offered a lot of great insights and advice, and did pretty much everything in her power to help guide us through a confusing and unique situation. It was a level of customer service you rarely receive as a paying customer - much less as one who is asking for a service the company does not provide, and who will not be an immediately paying customer. So like I said, weird situation, weird review. But context matters. Without a doubt, I had a very complex case on my hands....property owned by two separate trusts, and one of which was in a mediation. After the mediation, half of the ownership had to go through the courts for division and reassignment. There was a tremendous amount of communication and document exchange, and Tiffany & her team handled it all! What a nightmare it must have been, but she handled all the details with a smile and great attitude the entire time. I didn't understand any part of it, but I trusted that she had everything handled and it certainly was! In addition to the trust that had to go through the court, the other trust ownership was recorded with the county completely wrong by the trust attorney. Let's just say, there were so many issues with the title on this property that I was completely lost and needed hand-holding through the whole process. We were disappointed with the lack of communication/follow up from this company. We had ample questions about process, paperwork and such which they seemed nonchalant with their answers and questions on fees of which were not disclosed until the day before closing. There service could be improved by simply proactively communicating and being transparent . Our agent assigned was Adela? But Cindy was the one that would call us back or answer email questions - Cindy was always kind and courteous. They were not transparent on fees - and have ample junk fees. $1350 escrow agent fee? No idea what that includes because there were several other nuisance fees added and shared the day before closing like a 40$ special messaging ? Wire fees , etc. what does the 1350 cover? When we needed to have items notarized they told us to come in - did NOT tell us we would have to pay $15 a signature of which we avoided by going to our bank - they immediately wanted to have us pay close to $1000 to retrieve HOA docs that we could pull, scan for free. Overall we were disappointed with the experience we had with Escrow Leaders - although the people were generally nice ( especially Cindy) the company as a whole needs to ensure they have and execute customer service protocols for consistent communication and fee transparency. read more

We had to come here to the office to sign some documents and have it notarized, and the place is very pretty, great ambiance, and they had a kids' area with toys to keep my kids occupied. My kids were also happy about the candies and water they offered. When our check was ready for pick up and neither my husband nor I can go get it, they offered to send it to us next day, without a problem.
