Also for delivery they charge $2.50 plus a driver tip....but the driver only gets the tip they keep the fee. What does the pizzeria do to earn that extra fee? Nothing. I'm…read moredumbfounded that they sent meatballs in an unsealed container with a thin, watery sauce, and I'm dismayed that this awesome short rib and mushroom pie was so oily it saturated the pizza box. All of this, yet the food was still quite good despite all the misfortunes and mis-steps. I don't even know how to rate them ... 3.5 seems right, so do I go 4 stars for the solid flavors, or do l go with 3 because the pizza needed a third ingredient for complexity and a lot less grease, the white bean soup was made with red kidney beans, and the meatballs were in an ounce of this sauce... But that short rib pie could be something really special, I added a balsamic drizzle, even great with some horseradish. We definitely want to explore the menu more, am I right? Who else has tried em?

I had a couple of slices that were nice and thin, crispy and very flavorful. Dean, who is making the pies and doing the cooking, busy as he is, is one of the friendliest guys you will meet in a Pizza place! He says hello, welcomes you, and makes sure you know something about his offerings. Sure, its a small place and sometimes they are very busy and do not have all the time in the world to chat, but ask any question and Dean is happy to help! Maria is soft-spoken and kind, and the food is always top notch. Service can be slow at the counter, they have been understaffed a few times while I was there, just Dean and Maria. But the food is worth the wait. On another night, eight of us ate in the dining room, which is very attractive, and the food was excellent! We will be going back in a group again - especially after the Cruise Nights at East Wind in Wading River. Pete G.

It was not ready for the pick up time, to say the least. No cutlery and plates included even though I asked for it in the initial order and when I first entered the store. The crust was crispy and crunchy from the cornmeal on the bottom. Garlic knots were good, not too doughy.

When we got there, we found parking in front. It was around 3p on a Sunday. The place is spacious. They have large seating in front, a dining room and bar in the back, as well as a patio. I wanted to sit in the patio area but they have plants and herbs growing out there, and the bees have been festive this season. We ordered our pizza up front. The young lady that was helping us was very patient and nice. We ordered quite a few slices since they have a large selection. They heated everything up and put it all on trays for us. The condiments are neatly arranged near the pickup area. We sat and ate. The pizza was very good. I had a sauseej and roni sicilian, hubby had two slices of their chicken ranch, and our kiddo had their BBQ chicken slice, and a slice of a thicc sicilian circle pie - that thing was huge but really good! We ordered some drinks from the bar but we're a little disappointed that the juice they used is from a can. It has a fake taste and we didn't like that but everything else was on point. I'm sure you can't go wrong with a glass of wine. They have pizza kits and all kinds of other specialty pizzas. I was tempted to get a slice of their pepperoni slice with the garlic know crust. That would have been overkill for me. I made sure to grab menus so we can leave them over at the MIL's house for future ordering.

I have no idea how this place has four stars on yelp!…read more I walked in at 6 PM on a Wednesday after a long drive in traffic. There was not a person in the place and the pizza counter options looked so so but I trusted yelp. I ordered a plain slice, which looked OK before it went in the oven and a buffalo chicken slice. When I opened up the box and saw the plain slice I could tell immediately this was not going to be a good pizza. When you can still see the individual shreds of cheese, it is a good sign that it is cheap cheese. The buffalo chicken slice was surprisingly OK but if you can't deliver a plain cheese slice that's enough for me.

There are tons of activities for kids, including slides, games, animals, play areas, and plenty of space to run around. You could easily spend several hours here and still have things to do. I also really appreciated how pet-friendly the farm is. Dogs are allowed throughout most of the property, with the exception of the pet/animal area, which is completely understandable. Ticket prices were very reasonable considering how much there is to do and how large the farm is. Everything had a fun, laid-back country feel, and there were plenty of places to sit and take a break. Definitely a great fall activity for families, kids, and even those of us bringing our dogs along. We would absolutely come back!

Ruggero's: A Taste of Heavenly Cavatelli…read more My wife and I recently returned to Ruggero's specifically so I could enjoy their homemade cavatelli in a Bolognese sauce. We started with the fried calamari, which were delicious. The service was a highlight of our visit. Our waitress was not only lovely and helpful but also ensured our drinks arrived promptly and with a smile. When I requested a plain marinara Bolognese, the accommodation was made without a problem, which speaks volumes about the kitchen's flexibility and the staff's dedication. Did I say that the service is excellent? The restaurant itself is large and clearly a popular venue--a wedding was hosted during our dinner, and the music was on the loud side. For those looking for value, the portion to price ratio here is great, a quality that extends to their lunch menu as well. Pro-Tip: If you're in the mood for pasta, consider going on a "Pasta Night" (Monday or Tuesday) for a good deal. Parking is available, though there is a short walk from the lot to the entrance. Ruggero's provides excellent service, great value, and fantastic pasta. I highly recommend it.
