BEWARE....they say they don't give change for cash transactions. I find this pretty suspicious for a restaurant in Las Vegas. My friend and I had dinner last week and planned to pay our bill in cash. The waiter said the restaurant accepts cash but does not give change. What??? I really think it's just a way for the waiter to pocket extra money. A little here a little there. My friend and I were pretty irritated but we let him keep the extra money above what was already a generous tip. I wish we changed our form of payment to credit card. In addition, I meal was not good. We barely ate out meal. We ordered a few sides to share and they lacked flavor or anything interesting. read more

Brezza is a great spot for modern Italian food, a lovely dining experience, and excellent service inside of the new Resorts World. Since Resorts World is so new I didn't have much information on the restaurants here. We were between Brezza and Wally's. I decided to try Brezza first and was so happy with our experience. Reservations can be made through their website with Seven Rooms. I was given the option between dining room and outdoor dining. I chose indoor since it's still so hot, but the large patio will be great when it cools down. The service was excellent. Our waiter was friendly and we enjoyed chatting with him. All of our courses were timed nicely and our table was cleared the moment we were done with anything. Being new they have lots of employees so the service is extra attentive. The three types of complimentary bread with soft butter was delicious. The butter had a hint of citrus in it which enhanced the flavors. We were also brought a cup of fresh vegetables in olive oil. This was a unique touch. My husband's Brezzacello was okay. The Stone Fruit Panzanella Salad was the highlight of the meal for me. The fresh blend of vegetables and fruit with toasty croutons and vinaigrette was amazing. The ingredients were chopped perfectly to enjoy all of the flavors together. The Abalone was fresh with refreshing ingredients like rhubarb and citrus in the shell. Our main entrees were the Tagliatelle Bolognese and Garganelli. The pastas were delicate and cooked perfectly al dente. Both had delicious meaty sauces on top. Each dish looked small at first, but was plenty of food since we had starters. I'd order both of these pastas again. The Cannoli is a must order. It had fresh, delicate shells with the tastiest filling sprinkled with cinnamon. Each serving is three small cannoli so I'd suggest one order per person. We were going to share, but ended up ordering a second order of cannoli. Fresh is the best way to describe the food here. I am often hesitant to go to a restaurant a second time when I have had a good experience the first time. As Sade says, "It's never as good as the first time," Brezza does not disappoint! We had the calamari, grilled octopus, and the lamb pappardelle, and all dishes were expertly prepared and delicious. The calamari was fried with a perfect combination of vegetables that, at times, I was seeking out the vegetables instead of the star of the dish. Had we had the appetite, we would have ordered a second helping. The charred octopus was prepared with spicy pickled carrots that gave the dish some nice heat. Top notch. The pappardelle was pasta heaven on a plate. You can tell that the pasta chef knows how to make pasta and cook it perfectly. Such a delicious dish. I challenged the server to provide a glass of wine to pair with this dish, and he provided a terrific sangiovese that accented the meaty notes of the lamb as well as the herbaceousness of the sauce. Unfortunately the day I went they had a mishap on their order of calamari from their supplier so they were out so we didn't get to try it. We got the fried artichoke sides instead since it's almost the same batter. Those were delicious! Perfectly fried with a light batter, so much yum. I got the bucanti pasta which was cooked al dente and full of flavor but a tad bit too salty for me. The meal comes with complimentary focaccia bread and butter. I waited for the opening crowds and the 4th of July weekend to be over before coming to Resorts World to see what it was like and have dinner. After checking several places and their menus online, I opted for dinner at Brezza. I made a reservation for 5 PM and was seated immediately after they opened. After putting my jacket on the seat, the hostess took me to see the patio which fronts on Las Vegas Boulevard so I could take a look. They have misters but when it's over 110º, you wait until evening to sit outside. Returning to my seat, I had a chance to look at the menu and Giulio introduced himself as my server. He asked about water and any other drinks and I ordered an iced tea. Asking about the size of the starters, I narrowed my selection to either charred octopus or squash blossoms. The squash blossoms won as I had a ceviche with octopus the day before. For the main course, I went with the crab and corn "carbonara"--a decision I had pretty much made before I got to the restaurant. For dessert, I had the lemon olio verde tart. Giulio brought my iced tea promptly. In a short time, I was brought an assaggi with small pieces of raw vegetables--bell pepper, celery, asparagus, in olive oil. Refreshing to start a meal with these morsels of vegetables. A server brought a basket with some bread and butter. Then the squash blossoms were brought. Done in a prosecco tempura and stuffed with rock shrimp and ricotta, the squash blossoms were a good start. The blossoms had just the right amount of batter which and was slightly browned. The ricotta and shrimp stuffing was a delight. It was a very tasty starter and not necessarily a dish meant for sharing because of its size. Soon, the main course, the crab and corn "carbonara" was brought to the table. The "carbonara" had guanciale, green onion, and parmesan reggiano. The crab and corn made the pasta stand out and it was seasoned perfectly. There was a slight salt taste from the crab that made this dish taste so good. Taking some time to study the dessert menu, I opted for the lemon olio verde tort. Giulio had almost talked me into the house made chocolate gelato with ground espresso beans, but I love lemon desserts and kept to my choice. The lemon tart was superb! A light lemon curd with nepitella, and olive oil meringue, it was a light and delicious ending to the meal. It's also a dish that almost demands to have a photo taken of it. Service was excelllent. From the moment I arrived, everyone was very pleasant. It seemed like the restaurant had been opened for quite a while rather than opened a few weeks before. Giulio was outstanding, keeping watch over my need for iced tea and checking to see if everything was all right as I ate my dinner. One small thing was strange. There's a 10 cent charge on the bill for the assaggi. Really, 10 cents for something given to everyone as "complimentary" and putting this ridiculous amount on the tab. I didn't notice it until I got home, but add it into the price of my dessert or something else but leave this silly charge off the tab. read more

Italy circa 1970 vibe. Hip low key music playing, comfy booths and tables, hip decor. We had reservations but it wasn't full at all. We were greeted by a hostess that said "no cash, credit cards only". OK that's fine but how about hello first. She tried seating us next to a busy table I asked for a booth away from the big busy table she seemed bothered but obliged. Once seated our server came she was very knowledgeable about the menu and made suggestions. There are a few wine selections but no wine menu, and there's plenty of classic Italian cocktails like the negroni and bellini. We started with the Warm lambs tongue. It was tender and accompanied by mushrooms and a large poached egg. Then we asked about the Chefs salumi board. I inquired about a gluten-free option since the board came with sliced bread and the server suggested some crisps and I was accommodated with house made potato chips which were quite delicious. The board was delicious it had a variety of dried meats, mustard seed a liver moose, and pickled veggies. It was quite good but I almost felt like I needed a cheese, but it was called a Salumi board not a Salumi and formaggio board. Overall great place for lunch or early dinner. read more

Brezza is a nice looking restaurant. Made reservations. My gf and I were seated in a nice booth when we arrived. Our server though, she just came to our table asked do we know what we want? No good evening, how are you two today, what brings you tonight, nothing, zero effort. The was an older man who brought us our waters and bread he was so nice and talkative, wish he had been our server instead. The other servers were chatting it up and looked happy to be working their tables. I give my drink order and we ordered our food. Food was alright, nice presentation but nothing to rave about and the cocktail I had was good. Our server did check in with us which was nice, but just seemed to be doing the bare minimum. In the end for almost spending $300 for lackluster service from our server killed it, maybe she was over it. It was SEMA week so who knows. Oh well, definitely not returning. read more

This was our first visit to Brezza while staying at Resorts World. We were completely blown away by the food quality and attentive service, and will absolutely make a return visit. The NY strip steak was cooked perfectly over a wood fire grill, and the bolognese was incredibly flavorful. We also loved the inventive touches, like the 'tomato jam' that comes with the caprese appetizer (which wound up being one of our favorite parts of the dinner). Order extra bread so you can dip in the clams sauce. The pasta was on point along with the pork chop. I know the server mentioned several times the pork chop is served a la carte. My advice is to try the many excellent "off strip" restaurants. You will be treated with greater respect. read more

We tried 4 Bucatini, Rigatoni, Summer Squash Ravioli, & seafood mezzalune. For my main course I had the filet. I ordered medium rare and it was raw. Like purple. My server offered to make it right but I was full & I didn't really like the flavor. My co-worker ordered the duck. I tried a small piece & it was good but wow - seriously share this with at least 1-2 people. Sides: Brussels sprouts were amazing- these were gone quickly & I didn't get a picture. The mascarpone mashed potatoes- not bad not to write home about. Gnocchi a la Romana - think Mac & cheese but mushy. I would pass on these. Dessert- omg really good Now - where to sit. I don't recall why I made reservations here. Our annual trip to Las Vegas wouldn't be complete unless we have tried random restaurants we have not been to. Looks like another Italian inspired restaurant. We had a dozen oysters, the signature Brezza burger, spaghetti amatriciana, beef cheeks ravioli, and charred octopus with northern beans. All tasted great. I was pleasantly surprised that they used guanciale (pork jowl) for the amatriciana even though the sauce was not quite the customary flavor. Service was good. read more

There's something about food that just hits your soul and is so filling and soothing. Perhaps, that's why meals like that are considered comfort food. While it may come in many different forms across many different locations, this place in one of Las Vegas' newest properties hopes to provide their own kind of comfort food in the form of Italian dish staples to those that happen to visit. Let's take a bite into, Brezza. The Place (4 out of 5) - Brezza is located on the 1st floor in Resorts World in the "shopping mall" area, if you will. Depending on where you're coming from, some may consider it tucked away, but once you find it, I guarantee you'll never forget where it's located again. From the outside looking in, the restaurant looks very spacious with a very open air entrance that gives you the ability to look throughout the restaurant without even stepping foot in it. The bar and bar top area spans a good portion of what you see immediately as you walk by and the dining room is, what I consider, to be a bit more "inside". All that said, because it's next door to Carversteak and a few other fine dining options, it certainly holds its own for looking like a place you want to step into and dine in. The bar is fairly decent sized and there were quite a few bar tops that could accommodate for a few small groups. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the rest of the dining room; however, the entire place definitely gave off a classy vibe. The Service (4 out of 5) - Since I was dining alone, I was able to get a seat at the bar fairly easily even during dinner hours. I was promptly greeted by Brad the bartender and he provided great service! Nothing over the top, nothing lacking, just attentive to his patrons and making sure they had everything they needed. The hostesses were approachable and friendly as well politely letting me know that the bar was open seating and available to me if I'd like. Again, nothing to write home about, but definitely worth calling out that nothing was terrible about it either! The Food (4.5 out of 5) - For food and drinks, there were definitely some "bests" I was fortunate enough to experience. First and foremost, I had the Ventosa to start off as my cocktail. Needless to say, I had a few of these. Super refreshing and a perfect compliment to quench your thirst as you indulge in your food. Next, one of the "bests" I mentioned previously. Hands down THE best bread AND butter I've ever had at a restaurant so far. The fresh baked focaccia was super soft, warm, and moist and the whipped butter....my goodness, that butter was absolutely amazing. I could've for sure asked for a bucket of that alone and just put it on anything and everything I ate. I usually am not a person to load up on bread before dinner, but I absolutely asked for two more servings of it...it was THAT good and something I still think of to this day and wish I had some right now! For my main course, I had the Braised Short Ribs. I'm a pretty big fan of fall off the bone, cut with a fork, tender cuts of meats and braised short ribs are one of my go-to's at a restaurant. Suffice to say, these braised short ribs did not disappoint. It was super tender, cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and easy enough to cut with a fork. The sauce was rich and another "best" worth mentioning, the best horseradish infusion I've ever had! Usually, in my experience, no matter what horseradish may be infused with, it's still SUPER strong and carries a bitter note with it. Not my kind of tea and something I generally avoid or even ask to hold; however, this one was really tame and allowed me to actually enjoy the horseradish. Amazing! Overall (4 out of 5) - All in all, my experience at Brezza was definitely pleasant. I enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and the service was really laid back and chill. Great way to unwind and have some good food, especially if you're staying on property. I look forward to coming back and trying all the other dishes that Brezza has to offer. Our server is great and attentive : ) We took his recommendation for the side dish - the mash potato and we loved it! I would give 4 stars for the food for the price we are paying though. For example, we ordered medium rare for the steak but it was more towards medium / medium well side. And for the pasta - it was decent but nothing too stand out from other places. Same for the spinach side dish we ordered. What we love the most was the mascarpone mash potato - it was a great idea to put poach egg in it. That seem insignificant...but I wa thirsty..lol I ordered thr chopped salad. It was really flavorful. The ingredients were fresh and the dressing was not overpowering. For my entree, I decided to go against the grain and order the filet Mignon. It was cooked medium well. It was tender and juicy. The fresh lemon juice was different, but refreshing. It didn't need steak sauce. I ordered the mashed potatoes. They came out hot and fresh. I really loved the poached egg. It was a different texture.. but I'm open to new things. When my friend Stephany V @vegasbythebite tells me "You gotta check out Brezza for Brunch" I get on it! Another fabulous design by Chef Michael Mina. Located at at Resorts World LV. To say it's beautiful is an understatement! They have artfully mixed a retro 70's vibe with live Jazz and some seriously delicious modern Italian cuisine! Live music starts about 12, so be there a bit early and ask for in inside booth! Being the Bloody Mary Snob that I am I chose to go with Diane Mina's rendition,and had Buffalo Trace as my high octane choice, Yes I absolutely recommend it! My wife had the Mimosa Bottle service and was not disappointed. Beautifully presented with an assortment of fresh juices and fruit garnish and herbs! Definitely order the house made Chips, and try the Caprese, you will be delightfully pleased with the chilled tomato gelatin. To say I enjoyed the Gnocchi is an understatement as I found myself licking the plate! So tasty and beautifully served. The Menu shroom Angliotti was every bit as good with fresh Porcini and Morels. Im sure if your server is as good as ours was, Laurie, who was beyond splendid, already had us sold on deserts. We chose the Tiramisu and the absolutely BEST Cannoli we ever tasted, just look at the photos! With so many great restaurants in Las Vegas this one is on my lit for top 5 for sure!
