We arrived at Luchini just before closing and ordered the focaccia bread -- an absolute must. It was incredibly delicious. My son and I both ordered the Chicken Parmesan, and as serious Chicken Parmesan connoisseurs, we were impressed. The chicken was served first, then topped tableside with melted cheese and sauce. It was amazing -- easily the best Chicken Parmesan I've ever had. The service was outstanding, the soft background music created a relaxing atmosphere, and the setting itself was beautiful. We dined at Luchini last night after seeing KA. We were close to their last seating, so the restaurant was pretty empty. Matthew was our waiter--he greeted us promptly, asked if we'd dined there before (we hadn't), and gave us time to review the menu before taking our order. To start, we had the focaccia bread and the fritto misto. The bread was amazing--crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. The fritto misto was a generous portion for four people, and we couldn't finish it. For entrées: I had the chicken parmigiana, my mother-in-law ordered the chicken marsala, my husband had the burrata ravioli, and my cousin got the salmon alla puttanesca. The burrata ravioli was very good, but definitely on the smaller side--order a side if you're hungry. The salmon was average and felt like something you could get at a chain restaurant. The chicken parmigiana was the highlight of the meal--tender enough to cut with a fork, with plenty of sauce and cheese. The spaghetti on the side was just okay. Unfortunately, the chicken marsala was very disappointing. The chicken was thick when it should have been pounded thin, greasy, overcooked, and tough--you needed a steak knife to cut it. We let our waiter know, and to their credit, they removed it from the bill. The atmosphere was nice, but the music didn't match the vibe. We expected classic Italian crooners like Sinatra or Tony Bennett, but most of the night featured modern music. Oddly, the more fitting music played at the very end of our meal. Overall, I'd give Luchini 3 solid stars--some standout dishes, but a few misses that keep it from being a top-tier Italian spot. read more

We came in about 7:00 pm first day in MGM. I like the ambiance . Nicely decorated friendly staff . We first ordered the charcuterie platter . They had generous portion of cheese three sweet buns prosciutto salami . Enjoyed the platter .I ordered lobster with risotto. Not much lobster in your plate for the price they charge . Plus my lobster was very salty .I liked my risotto. My husband ordered Branzini .He liked his dish. We at at the bar area and the bar tenders were very friendly and made good recommendations. The place overall was very modern in design, and with the televisions it had a pleasant and laid back vibe to it. They have gluten free substitutions for a lot of things. The main reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I had to sub pasta for the gluten free option which is only penne and it's extremely basic noodles. We didn't have the ability to try their noodles which are apparently handmade and fresh. The chicken Parmesan was great (not gluten free) and a huge portion. The bolognese sauce was very good so I'm sure it's even better on fresh pasta. The fried calamari and shrimp were very good as well and the sauce they come with has a slight kick. Luchini was located inside MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. This seemed like a quick stop location that offered pizza by the slice... and a whole pizza starting at only $48! Service was quick and this food spot was convenient. We took it to watch the game at Losers Most Wanted Bar. This big slice was on a plate and in a paper bag. It had great flavor. The crust was crispy, pepperoni were curled up with grease in the center... this was a great way to spend almost $10!!! (Ouch!) This pizza was worth its money in flavor and quality easily. The place is very large inside, you enter via the bar with seating available then into the main restaurant. Booths and regular table seating. MAITRE de, a guy, kept us waiting over 15 minutes for a table even after we checked for our reservation. Basic attitude have seat. We will be with you. Food barota cheese with tomato excellent. Ambiance was nice. They played oldies music in the background at just the right volume. This is a family friendly place located inside the MGM Grand. Service was amazing. As soon as we were finished with a dish or drink, they immediately took away empty/finished dishes. Water was refilled constantly and our server Frank was fantastic from start to finish! Food came out fairly quickly and everything was amazingly delicious! Drinks made were consistent which is always a plus for us! Got here just in time to catch happy hour that ended at 5:30. Enjoyed a Caesar Salad and the meatballs and everything was very tasty! They do make you get a drink in order to "unlock" the happy hour menu. Cute atmosphere, I believe they also have a speak easy in the back to check out. read more

The restaurant itself is very beautiful, with a dark and moody dining room that almost makes you forget you're sitting just steps away from the casino floor. That said, nothing really stood out as especially noteworthy, and for the price I expected a little more of a wow factor. Our family of 4, 2 kids ages 9 and 10, visited Luchini Italian Restaurant inside MGM Grand for dinner December 28, 2025. We had reservations and were seated right away. The space felt like a classic Italian bistro, very welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive from the start. It was an easy relaxed meal after a long day and never felt rushed. The food was the highlight. The Shrimp Scampi appetizer was excellent with a thick reduced sauce that was very garlicky and buttery with strong and intense flavors. The sauce was cooked down and packed a punch. The house bread was fantastic on its own; soft, thick and with a crunchy crust almost like Detroit style deep dish pizza, with a little tomato sauce and cheese on top. It paired really well with the Marinara Sauce which was balanced and not too acidic. Dipping the bread into the Shrimp Scampi sauce was delicious but almost overwhelming because of how rich it was. My wife and I split one order of the Shortrib Lasagna Pinwheels. They were very savory and rich. My wife's' portion had slightly dry crunchy edges but mine were perfect so we swapped and it worked out. The kids meals were a big win. Ethan loved his plain pasta (not on the menu)and Addy loved her Spaghetti Napoleta so much that she asked the server to pass along compliments to the chef. Portion sizes are generous and we were completely full by the end. We skipped dessert simply because we could not eat another bite. From a kid standpoint this was an easy and comfortable dinner. Familiar pasta options friendly service and a calm environment made it stress free. Overall Luchini Italian Restaurant at MGM Grand delivered bold flavorful Italian comfort food in a relaxed family friendly setting and exceeded expectations for a Strip resort restaurant. The only bright part was the sauce that was deep and rich ... but too little of it on the plate. Nice looking space. We've done the prefix and it was amazing and way too much food so this time we just did the meatballs the chopped salad; I did linguine and clams and Steve did the chicken Parm. So many Italian eateries on the strip, but I saw the short rib lasagna pinwheel dish on OpenTable and knew I had to come to Luchini to try it! My party and I ordered the Caesar salad for appetizer (big enough portion to feed 2-3 people), I ordered and shared the short rib lasagna pinwheel dish (10/10!), and we shared the tiramisu for dessert (8/10). Knocked off a few points for the tiramisu because although the tiramisu itself was nicely presented, there were no lady fingers in the dessert, which is a classic way to make it. Instead of lady fingers, Luchini's tiramisu has a bottom layer of chocolate cake. Nonetheless, I would come back and can't wait to order their tower of gelato! read more

We did not have a reservation for dinner on a Monday night. However, only waited, maybe 10 minutes to be seated. The interior of the restaurant is pretty, and the low lighting adds to the ambiance. We split 3 items - classic caesar salad, warm house focaccia, and chicken parmesan with a side of spaghetti. The food was great. We had zero complaints and wanted for nothing. The chicken was massive, and the bread was to die for. It is the perfect date night spot while in Vegas. The walkup pizza spot was convenient and yummy. I really like the pepperoni slice. Myself and a family member stopped in for the first time to have a couple of slices. We both really enjoyed our pizza slices, and the quality was impressive for about $9 a slice. It's a small seating area but good for a quick bite or a snack. The speakeasy's door (tied to Luchini restaurant) is located in the back of this seating area. Pizza comes out hot after they reheat it in the oven. It was tasty and crispy. It is pricey but we were in need of something quick. We started with the Burrata Salad which was very creamy, very tasty, and was a nice start to our meal. For our entrees Wifey ordered the chicken parm and I ordered the shrimp parm (we weren't looking for fancy that night). Here's the smarmy part of our experience. When we ordered the meals the waiter asked "do you want pasta with that" and we both ordered Spaghetti...assuming it was part of the entree. It wasn't and we were charged for it. Kind of a crappy way to make a few bucks. With our dinner wifey and I had glasses of Super Tuscan and Textbook Cab. Both were pretty tasty, but the Cab wasn't as strong flavored as I'd hoped. I enjoy sitting at the bar when I'm dining solo...there's usually some energy, a game on, and a chance for casual interaction. That was exactly what I was hoping for at Luchini's inside the MGM. There was no greeting, just a "Menu?, which set a the tone off from the beginning, especially since the bar wasn't busy. The TV was showing a football game from 2023, which felt odd. I asked if a current Packers/Ravens game could be put on, knowing it might not be available. No luck, and no real effort either. Even a college game would've been an upgrade, sports bars live or die by the details. I ordered a bourbon and the Chicken Parmesan. The food was solid. No wow factor, but enjoyable and well prepared. As I finished up, I declined dessert and received the check shortly after--again, without a word. No "thanks for coming in," no "hope you enjoyed it." Small things, but they matter, especially when the room isn't full. Luchini's has a good foundation with a nice atmosphere, decent food but hospitality is what turns a meal into an experience for me. Low lighting but still able to see the menu with clarity The meal started with Spiedini alla Romana, which was a peasant bread with mozzarella and lemon caper sauce. I could have ate this over and over again. For the main courses; penne Alla rosa, Salmon Oreganata, and Filet with lobster tail. All was fantastic. The barolo sauce on the steak was incredible, and both of us were in love with it. We were a little sad that the pistachio gelato was unavailable but the vanilla birthday gelato was perfect to finish the meal with. Came here for a work event and we were absolutely blown away by everything. We had a large group and were seated right on time of our reservation. The ambiance is casual, dim lighting and table, booth seating is available. Our server was very attentive and sweet All of the food we got here tasted amazing! There was not one thing I tried that I didn't enjoy. The house made focaccia was delightful, so soft and warm and seasoned beautifully. All the meat we ordered was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. The calamari was unlike anything I tasted before, it was more than enough to share with the table and paired with beautiful cocktail dip.
