We stayed at the MGM Grand and had a dining credit so we decided to give Luchini a try. Luchini is delicious Italian food at what is a good price point for a restaurant at a casino on the Strip. We started off with the Fritto Misto. I had the Salmon all Puttanesca and ordered a size of glazed potatoes. The salmon was delicious, but the potatoes were outstanding - great crispness and a slight sweetness. We ended the night with a pistachio gelato - the serving size was huge and the gelato was fantastic. Our server was quite nice and attentive, but the food was kind of slow to come out considering the restaurant was only 3/4 full when we were there, but that would be my only complaint. read more

I think Luchini is very solid. We had a party of 11 (of which 4 were rowdy pre-teen boys) and they managed it well. We started with the Caesar salad and the focaccia. Both were very good versions of the standard. The focaccia was very nice; it was rich and fluffy. I also got the spritz flight and they were all very good. I especially liked the Hugo spritz. I ordered the chicken parm, which I think is their specialty. It was REALLY good. The marinara sauce was very good and flavorful; full of fresh tomato flavor. The chicken parm was good: the breading was just the right thickness, and very crunchy. The chicken was tender and juicy; I think it may have been brined. I came to Luchini for dinner with a friend while staying at the MGM, and we had a great experience. The restaurant has a beautiful interior with dim lighting that created a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent from beginning to end. If you're dining here, I highly recommend the Nonna's Summer Menu. For $45, you get an appetizer, side, and entrée, and you can add dessert for just $10 more. It was an amazing value, especially for the quality of the food. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the shrimp vodka pasta was very rich and was very creamy but didn't have alot of flavor. They don't serve bread like most Italian restaurants. They required every person at the table to order the combo and that's not ideal for some people. We even asked for management involvement because we were given incorrect information by the hostess. This is for the 2 go area. We didnt dine in the restaurant. Pizza was amazing! A great slice when the hunger pains hit. We saw a sign before arriving that said by two slices and get a free dessert. We asked the cashier who helped us out. The dessert was the cookie which was actually really good. We also loved the fact they give you hot honey to drizzle on your pizza. I really enjoyed my lamb bolognese and my husbands chicken parm was great. We arrived at Luchini just before closing and ordered the focaccia bread -- an absolute must. It was incredibly delicious. My son and I both ordered the Chicken Parmesan, and as serious Chicken Parmesan connoisseurs, we were impressed. The chicken was served first, then topped tableside with melted cheese and sauce. The biggest letdowns were the octopus, which tasted overly fishy, and the ribeye, which came out overcooked. While the server was nice enough when bringing out a great birthday dessert for my daughter, a pleasant attitude can't overlook so many missed basic steps of service. We dined at Luchini last night after seeing KA. We were close to their last seating, so the restaurant was pretty empty. Matthew was our waiter--he greeted us promptly, asked if we'd dined there before (we hadn't), and gave us time to review the menu before taking our order. To start, we had the focaccia bread and the fritto misto. The bread was amazing--crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. The fritto misto was a generous portion for four people, and we couldn't finish it. For entrées: I had the chicken parmigiana, my mother-in-law ordered the chicken marsala, my husband had the burrata ravioli, and my cousin got the salmon alla puttanesca. The burrata ravioli was very good, but definitely on the smaller side--order a side if you're hungry. The salmon was average and felt like something you could get at a chain restaurant. The chicken parmigiana was the highlight of the meal--tender enough to cut with a fork, with plenty of sauce and cheese. The spaghetti on the side was just okay. Unfortunately, the chicken marsala was very disappointing. The chicken was thick when it should have been pounded thin, greasy, overcooked, and tough--you needed a steak knife to cut it. We let our waiter know, and to their credit, they removed it from the bill. The atmosphere was nice, but the music didn't match the vibe. We expected classic Italian crooners like Sinatra or Tony Bennett, but most of the night featured modern music. Oddly, the more fitting music played at the very end of our meal. They had generous portion of cheese three sweet buns prosciutto salami . Enjoyed the platter .I ordered lobster with risotto. Not much lobster in your plate for the price they charge . The place overall was very modern in design, and with the televisions it had a pleasant and laid back vibe to it. They have gluten free substitutions for a lot of things. The main reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I had to sub pasta for the gluten free option which is only penne and it's extremely basic noodles. We didn't have the ability to try their noodles which are apparently handmade and fresh. The chicken Parmesan was great (not gluten free) and a huge portion. The bolognese sauce was very good so I'm sure it's even better on fresh pasta. The fried calamari and shrimp were very good as well and the sauce they come with has a slight kick. DELICIOUS! Omg! tried the layered cheese bread, was insane! Cheesy, full of flavor and just delicious. Would get every time. We also tried the Bolognese pinwheels which were phenomenal and full of flavor and the Calabrian shrimp pasta. I can't remember what kind of pasta these were but it was so good and cooked just right. The shrimp also was very good in this pasta and usually I don't like shrimp in my pasta it's just a texture but this dish was very good. Went here for Thursday night dinner about 30 mins before they closed. Our waitress Jessica was really nice and attentive. We just ordered the chicken parmigiana and the rigatoni and the food came out quick within 10 mins. The chicken parmigiana was a very healthy portion and came with spaghetti and was made perfectly, not too much breading, good amount of melted cheese and the sauce was tasty. My friends rigatoni was also on par with a fairly healthy tasty meal. Our family of 4, 2 kids ages 9 and 10, visited Luchini Italian Restaurant inside MGM Grand for dinner December 28, 2025. We had reservations and were seated right away. The space felt like a classic Italian bistro, very welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive from the start. It was an easy relaxed meal after a long day and never felt rushed. The food was the highlight. The Shrimp Scampi appetizer was excellent with a thick reduced sauce that was very garlicky and buttery with strong and intense flavors. The sauce was cooked down and packed a punch. The house bread was fantastic on its own; soft, thick and with a crunchy crust almost like Detroit style deep dish pizza, with a little tomato sauce and cheese on top. It paired really well with the Marinara Sauce which was balanced and not too acidic. Dipping the bread into the Shrimp Scampi sauce was delicious but almost overwhelming because of how rich it was. My wife and I split one order of the Shortrib Lasagna Pinwheels. They were very savory and rich. My wife's' portion had slightly dry crunchy edges but mine were perfect so we swapped and it worked out. The kids meals were a big win. Ethan loved his plain pasta (not on the menu)and Addy loved her Spaghetti Napoleta so much that she asked the server to pass along compliments to the chef. Portion sizes are generous and we were completely full by the end. We skipped dessert simply because we could not eat another bite. From a kid standpoint this was an easy and comfortable dinner. Familiar pasta options friendly service and a calm environment made it stress free. Overall Luchini Italian Restaurant at MGM Grand delivered bold flavorful Italian comfort food in a relaxed family friendly setting and exceeded expectations for a Strip resort restaurant. I am writing to share my disappointment regarding our recent visit to Luchini's at MGM Grand. This was actually our second visit this year because we enjoyed our first experience enough that I recommended your restaurant to family and friends. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. From the beginning of our meal, the service was disorganized. Our server repeatedly forgot items we had ordered, including the Warm House Focaccia. After waiting quite a while, I finally asked what had happened to it, only to be told, "Oh sorry, we ran out of bread." Had we been informed when we placed our order, we could have simply ordered something else instead of waiting and wondering. The delays continued throughout the evening. Our entire table waited an unusually long time for our meals, and it seemed like our orders had been forgotten. My wife also ordered the Spritz Flight, but it never arrived until we reminded our server. Even then, it took another five minutes before it was finally brought to the table. Unfortunately, the food itself did not make up for the poor service. Every dish at our table lacked the flavor and quality that we remembered from our first visit. After such a long wait, the meal was simply underwhelming. What made this especially disappointing is that I had convinced another party to join us because of how much we enjoyed our first visit. Instead, everyone left disappointed, and I was embarrassed that the experience did not reflect what I had previously told them to expect. I understand that restaurants can have off nights, but this experience fell far below the standard we experienced on our first visit and the standard we expected from a restaurant at MGM Grand. I wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes that it can be addressed so future guests do not have a similar experience. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. I recently had dinner at Luchini inside the MGM Grand and overall thought it was good, but not particularly memorable. The restaurant itself is very beautiful, with a dark and moody dining room that almost makes you forget you're sitting just steps away from the casino floor. I tried the meatballs, chopped salad, braised rib, and chicken Marsala, and everything was solid and well prepared. That said, nothing really stood out as especially noteworthy, and for the price I expected a little more of a wow factor. It's a comfortable four star experience if you're already at MGM Grand and want Italian food, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to return. read more

We've been to Luchini's before and had the Seafood Fra Diavolo which was amazing. My husband took me to Vegas this past week to celebrate my birthday and we decided to revisit Luchini's. Unfortunately, our visit this time did not favor as well as our last visit. When reservations were made we were asked if our visit was for a special occasion, in which we told them for a birthday. When seated, we were greeted by our server,Mike. He never introduced himself to us and the only reason I know his name is because I heard the ladies seated across from us say his name. If there were any specials, we were not informed of any. To start, we ordered the roasted beet salad (thinking we could share it), and for our entrees, I ordered the lobster risotto and my husband ordered the spaghetti with meatbalLes (which was tasty). When the salad arrived we realized it wasn't shareable. Our server had not come back to check on us so we flagged down another server and asked him for another salad. We had finished with our salads and still no visit from our server. We finally pushed our salad plates to the side thinking someone would pick them up. Our food is brought out to us by a runner, and our salad plates still there and still no visit from our server. The runner then removes our salad plates. I see that our server is busy with a party of 11 behind us (more money there for him instead of us, a party of two). While eating our food, our server brings a birthday dessert to the ladies across from us and make conversation with them, still no visit to us. We finish our food which was good, then our server arrives to ask if we would be ordering dessert. We reply no because we figured a birthday dessert would be coming out as it did for the ladies across from us. Nope, nothing! All week I felt a little special by the other restaurants we went to in MGM. In the previous nights we had gone to Morimoto and Craft Steak which both did an amazing birthday dessert. I wasn't expecting Luchini's to do something to the same caliber as Morimoto or Craft Steak, but I thought at least something. My score is for the lack of service by our server and yes, no birthday dessert. It wouldn't have been a big deal if the ladies across from us didn't get one. Then I would just think Luchini's doesn't give anything out. But that was not the case. When you go out of town to celebrate and drop some money (because it's not cheap), you want some good service which unfortunately we didn't receive. read more
