We stopped after a show and the food was good. Try the pinwheel lasagna which is different. Service was good despite our server handling multiple tables including one party of 20 people. She did forget to put in our side dish but she owned up to it.

We came in about 7:00 pm first day in MGM. I like the ambiance . Nicely decorated friendly staff . We first ordered the charcuterie platter . They had generous portion of cheese three sweet buns prosciutto salami . Enjoyed the platter .I ordered lobster with risotto. Not much lobster in your plate for the price they charge . Plus my lobster was very salty .I liked my risotto. My husband ordered Branzini .He liked his dish. I wish they served it with fresh vegetables rather than tomatoes .I tasted it didn't find it very tasty .

We at at the bar area and the bar tenders were very friendly and made good recommendations. The place overall was very modern in design, and with the televisions it had a pleasant and laid back vibe to it. They have gluten free substitutions for a lot of things. The main reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I had to sub pasta for the gluten free option which is only penne and it's extremely basic noodles. We didn't have the ability to try their noodles which are apparently handmade and fresh. The chicken Parmesan was great (not gluten free) and a huge portion. The bolognese sauce was very good so I'm sure it's even better on fresh pasta. The fried calamari and shrimp were very good as well and the sauce they come with has a slight kick. The cake was awesome and huge! Overall very good and would definitely come back. Be prepared to come home with leftovers. Review from November 2025

Pepperoni pizza by the slice.... perfect for a foodie's quick fix. Located in side the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino

Luchini was located inside MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. This seemed like a quick stop location that offered pizza by the slice... and a whole pizza starting at only $48! Service was quick and this food spot was convenient. We took it to watch the game at Losers Most Wanted Bar. This big slice was on a plate and in a paper bag. It had great flavor. The crust was crispy, pepperoni were curled up with grease in the center... this was a great way to spend almost $10!!! (Ouch!) This pizza was worth its money in flavor and quality easily. I would've gone back if there was not so much more on the strip.

Our server was awesome!!! I believe it was Jessica, she was very informative and knowledgeable about the restaurant, the food, and beverages. The food she suggested was amazing. Didn't really get to walk around the restaurant cause we sat in the bar area. Otherwise I suggest this place. We also ate the pizza the next day next door.

Ambiance was nice. They played oldies music in the background at just the right volume. This is a family friendly place located inside the MGM Grand. Service was amazing. As soon as we were finished with a dish or drink, they immediately took away empty/finished dishes. Water was refilled constantly and our server Frank was fantastic from start to finish! Food came out fairly quickly and everything was amazingly delicious! Drinks made were consistent which is always a plus for us! I would say the only con is that the restroom is outside of the restaurant. Other than that we were very pleased and we will definitely be coming back here.

Got here just in time to catch happy hour that ended at 5:30. Enjoyed a Caesar Salad and the meatballs and everything was very tasty! They do make you get a drink in order to "unlock" the happy hour menu. Cute atmosphere, I believe they also have a speak easy in the back to check out.

I recently had dinner at Luchini inside the MGM Grand and overall thought it was good, but not particularly memorable. The restaurant itself is very beautiful, with a dark and moody dining room that almost makes you forget you're sitting just steps away from the casino floor. I tried the meatballs, chopped salad, braised rib, and chicken Marsala, and everything was solid and well prepared. That said, nothing really stood out as especially noteworthy, and for the price I expected a little more of a wow factor. It's a comfortable four star experience if you're already at MGM Grand and want Italian food, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Our family of 4, 2 kids ages 9 and 10, visited Luchini Italian Restaurant inside MGM Grand for dinner December 28, 2025. We had reservations and were seated right away. The space felt like a classic Italian bistro, very welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive from the start. It was an easy relaxed meal after a long day and never felt rushed. The food was the highlight. The Shrimp Scampi appetizer was excellent with a thick reduced sauce that was very garlicky and buttery with strong and intense flavors. The sauce was cooked down and packed a punch. The house bread was fantastic on its own; soft, thick and with a crunchy crust almost like Detroit style deep dish pizza, with a little tomato sauce and cheese on top. It paired really well with the Marinara Sauce which was balanced and not too acidic. Dipping the bread into the Shrimp Scampi sauce was delicious but almost overwhelming because of how rich it was. My wife and I split one order of the Shortrib Lasagna Pinwheels. They were very savory and rich. My wife's' portion had slightly dry crunchy edges but mine were perfect so we swapped and it worked out. The kids meals were a big win. Ethan loved his plain pasta (not on the menu)and Addy loved her Spaghetti Napoleta so much that she asked the server to pass along compliments to the chef. Portion sizes are generous and we were completely full by the end. We skipped dessert simply because we could not eat another bite. From a kid standpoint this was an easy and comfortable dinner. Familiar pasta options friendly service and a calm environment made it stress free. Overall Luchini Italian Restaurant at MGM Grand delivered bold flavorful Italian comfort food in a relaxed family friendly setting and exceeded expectations for a Strip resort restaurant. We would definitely come back to try more items on the menu given the opportunity!

Everything from "A" as in appetizer like the focaccia bread we had to "Z" as in Zingy-flavorful chicken parmigiana & braised short-rib pinwheel lasagna entree were wonderful. Overall, I would highly recommend.

Amir, the restaurant manager, invited us back to make things right and that he did. Much better experience with our waiter, Frank. Food was good and service was excellent. We also got a red rose for valentines's day! Will definitely be back when are back in Vegas.

    Chicken marsala
    Doretta W.

I was not impressed. I tried the chicken marsala .. the chicken was not seasoned and was dry. The mushrooms were mush .. cooked way too long. The only bright part was the sauce that was deep and rich ... but too little of it on the plate. Nice looking space. The service was friendly but rushing around because she had too many tables.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. From top to bottom Luchini is clicking on all cylinders. If you're staying at the MGM Grand Hotel, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. The menu has a nice selection and The service is friendly and attentive. On this visit We ordered the chicken parmigiana, spaghetti and meatballs, & Focaccia bread. Everything was delicious! The meatballs were very tender and had a good flavor . The Focaccia bread came with a great marinara dipping sauce. The cheesecake for dessert was mouthwatering delicious. The restaurant is Dimly lit great for a romantic dinner. Calm and quiet environment. Reservations recommended

Ask the Community - Luchini Italian Restaurant

Is there cigarette smoking allowed inside the establishment?

No, technically in the avenue where the majority of the restaurants are there is no smoking allowed but people are rude and inconsiderate and smoke anyway. But in the restaurants especially there is no smoking allowed.

    Are shorts allowef?

I wore dress shorts and was allowed in, I don't know about more casual shorts

We had a confirmed reservation for Friday, December 19, 2025 at 6:30 PM for a party of seven. The reservation was made online, accepted, and confirmed by email. I even received an email the day before asking me to confirm that we would be there, which I did. On top of that, I called the night before with questions about the menu. Although there is no direct phone line to The Wine Cellar, I was connected to a concierge who, while not fully familiar with every detail, took the time to review the website and menu with me. At no point was there any indication that the wine cellar would be closed. Everything showed as open, normal hours, reservations active. We arrived on time for our reservation and found the place completely closed. This was not a casual drop-in. It took effort to get this group together. We had friends in town visiting who Ubered to the location from The Strip, we drove in from North Summerlin, and others came from Henderson. We dressed up in holiday attire and planned this as a special night out leading into Christmas. It mattered to us. Instead, we were left standing there confused and disappointed, and ended up spending the rest of the evening sitting at another bar in the casino eating nachos. Not exactly the Napa-inspired wine experience we were excited about. If a business is closed, it should not be accepting online reservations, sending confirmation emails, or asking guests to reconfirm their attendance. Employees and concierge staff should be aware of closures. And if something truly unexpected happened, a facility issue or last-minute closure, then someone should be contacting guests with confirmed reservations. That would not have been difficult. We relocated to Las Vegas from Northern California years ago and were genuinely excited to visit a Napa inspired Wine Cellar because we miss that wine culture and wanted to share it with friends. As locals, it is incredibly disappointing to see a business handled this way. I want to support places where I live, but this experience left us frustrated and upset. This was a big letdown and, honestly, a shame.

We walked right in & the place was dead with only 2 other tables filled. We got seated right away & service was polite & attentive. The ambiance felt like you're in a vintage cave similar to one of the wineries we've been to Napa. It felt relaxing & personable. Hubby ordered the worldwide red wine adventure which included 3 flights...a Malbec, Tempranillo, & Chianti. I had the Joe's the best of the best Cabernet which included 3 different pours of Cabernet. I'm from LA & have always been into cabs but recently have transitioned to old world wines bc it pairs better with food in my opinion. However, hubby suggested we have an open mind & order both the old world & new world wines. Surprisingly, I thought the cabs tasted better than the old world wines. The cabs listed on the menu are ones that I've never had before & it was bold as expected but solid. I've had better old world wines so it was just okay. With that being said, I don't mind coming back to try other wines on the menu.

The space itself is inviting with stylish décor and a warm, modern atmosphere that makes it perfect for both casual dinners and hosting friends. Service is consistently excellent--attentive, welcoming, and polished every time we visit. Our Usual Order: 1) Garlic Herb Crispy Prawns - Hands down some of the best in the city. The prawns arrive perfectly crisp with a generous coating of golden garlic and herbs. Each bite has that satisfying crunch before giving way to tender shrimp. 2) Mango Crispy Catfish - A beautiful contrast of textures. The crispy catfish is topped with bright slices of mango and finished with a chili-lime dressing that ties everything together. The dish is vibrant, colorful, and bursting with flavors. 3) Crab Fried Rice - The rice comes generously packed with large pieces of crab and works perfectly alongside the other dishes. It's hearty enough to share. 4) Dessert here is as much about presentation as it is about enjoyment. The Mango Sticky Rice is beautifully plated, and the Egg Yolk Ice Cream is a unique treat that's rich and creamy without being overly sweet--the perfect way to end the meal. The wine list is surprisingly impressive for a Thai restaurant. We usually pair our meal with Orin Swift Blank Stare Sauvignon Blanc, which complements the dishes wonderfully. There's also a full bar, and the Lamaii Old Fashioned is worth trying--smooth, aromatic, and beautifully balanced. Coming from LA, we have decent Thai food, but honestly this place blows everything else out of the water. Tucked in the corner of a shopping mall with quite a few other restaurants, you might miss it if you're driving by. Here are the dishes we've tried so far: Pad Thai (9.5/10) - The best pad thai I've had - nice and moist, with great flavor. I'm normally indifferent to pad thai but having this one makes me realize that most of the other pad thai I've has been dry - no wonder I enjoyed this one so much more. Garlic Herb Crispy Prawn (10/10) - The star of the show - nice, large prawns fried to perfection and covered with a tasty garlic sauce. This is the one we get every time we go. Gang Pu (7.5/10) - Solid amount of crab meat in a curry sauce. The vermicelli noodles come on the side and you can add them into the sauce when you want. It's good but I wish there was a little more curry sauce in the dish. Pra Dook Pad Pren (7/10) - On taste alone this probably gets a 9/10 but we thought the portion was a bit small. The catfish is very tasty and the sauce was on point. Just wish it was a little bigger portion. Panang w/ Crispy Duck (9/10) - the duck is very moist and flavorful, swimming in the panang curry it's really a wonderful dish. There is a good amount of sauce which we like so we can add it onto the steamed rice. Panang w/ Crispy Prawns (8.5/10) - See above but with crispy prawns instead of duck. Enjoyable but I think I prefer the duck a little more for this type of dish. Garlic Green Beans (9.5/10) - Didn't know what to expect but really pleasantly surprised with this dish. The green beans are covered with a super flavorful garlic sauce. A nice compliment to any of the other dishes considering there's not a ton of vegetable options on the menu. The tasteful traditional decor and dark wood sets a nice mood for a pleasant meal. Sure, the view out of the window could be better (you just get a view of the corner of the parking lot) but other than that I can't complain. Also, the service is really stand out - they always treat us very nice and check on us regularly. Shoutout to Pinky - she's super sweet and they've given us a little ice cream dessert when we've come on our birthdays. In a city with so many great food options this one stands out for me.
