On our most recent trip to Vegas, we stayed at the Flamingo Hotel and discovered Favorite Bistro on the Linq Promenade just outside our hotel. The Linq Promenade was quite a surprise to us, filled with delicious offerings, and oh so convenient. Favorite Bistro was one of our favorite finds. So much so that we enjoyed three tasty meals at Favorite Bistro. The food was fresh and tasty, service was super friendly, the atmosphere couldn't be cuter, and the location couldn't be more convenient. We'll definitely be back. Barbecue Chicken Pizza is wonderful! The flavors explode in your mouth and the crust is the best hand tossed I've had in years. Service was prompt, efficient, and friendly with a crowded happy hour crowd. Lively loud environment added to the ambiance. If you're in Vegas I highly recommend stopping in. read more

The food slightly underwhelming, consisted of: Calamari Appetizer 2.5/5... edible, but seemed like frozen from a bag Charcuterie Board 5/5... best thing on the menu by far Fish and chips 3/5... flavor was okay, but not crispy. Nice spot in the Linq... indoor/outdoor seating and great service... really enjoyed it. The food was actually pretty good and reasonably priced considering its location in tourist central. The French bistro menu is pretty solid... steak frites were well made... the fries were very crisp and the steak was cooked to the right temp. We visited on a weekday evening after picking this place randomly while walking along the Strip. The restaurant wasn't busy or crowded, yet we experienced an unexpectedly long wait for our food. The entrée was very disappointing - bland, overpriced, and nothing memorable. The overall service felt poorly managed and unorganized. The food wasn't bad enough to be inedible, but it certainly wasn't good either, and we ended up going elsewhere to eat. Unfortunately, not a place we would return to or recommend. read more

Jordan K. at the bar was personable and had such a calm demeanor. The home fries were hot, crispy, and well seasoned. The smoked salmon, avocado toast was one of the best I've had. This place has easily the best happy hour we found near the stip! It's hard to beat $6 drinks, so we stayed a while. The staff took great care of us and the prices were amazing. I cannot attest to most of the food since we only ordered drinks and fries. Drinks were good and fries were fine. Shout out to Wolf for the awesome service! We stopped in during their happy hour to snack and wait out traffic. We sat outside with a group of 6 and ordered chicken wings (5 pieces), sliders (3 pieces), spinach dip, and a glass of wine. Especially for Vegas, the happy hour portions and pricing were great! The appetizers we ordered were $9.99 and my wine was $5.95. Wolf was so energetic and bubbly! He was always checking on us and took real good care of us. Awesome spot to grab a bite in the heart of Las Vegas! The location is perfect -- close to tons of things to see and do. The food isn't necessarily mind-blowing but definitely solid, and what really makes this place shine is the customer service and atmosphere. We made a reservation but when we arrived, it seemed we didn't need one since it wasn't too busy. Quickly seated and given water. I ordered the lobster egg Benedict and it was good! Lots of lobster. It also came with a side of potatoes and they were so good! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We liked the designs we saw on the Coffee drinks given, which we thought was a unique thing to do. So after breakfast we stopped by Favorite Bistro to order to Vanilla Latte's, with excitement by my girlfriend to see what stenciled design might be on our drinks that day. Slightly to our disappointment, they were just standard Latte's, no stenciled design, sp notning "special". But they did both come with a $1 upgrade, per drink for the Vanilla syrup which we weren't told of in advance. That's not something that's common at other places I've gone, so I was a little surprised at that once I saw the bill. Good happy hour prices and great Bloody Mary but just average food. Not a lot of options for appetizers. Big issue is only 1 restroom inside the whole restaurant, as in one stall for both genders to share. Walked down the promenade looking for a breakfast place and stumbled upon Favorite Bistro. They have a lovely patio but we sat inside the cozy restaurant. We were greeted by friendly staff and delicious food. For Vegas, the prices were very reasonable for the amount of food we received. It was delicious. 2 friends had steak and eggs for $19 and I had salmon avocado toast with a poached egg around $23. So good and highly recommend. We were staying at nearby Flamingo so this was an easy choice to stop by for happy hour. My sister, who is a vegetarian, had limited choices but still enjoyed what she ordered nonetheless. She had the spinach dip served with a baguette and guacamole w/chips. I, on the other hand, had their burger sliders and a side of fries. The 3 burger sliders were juicy and filling and were just enough for me. We pretty much just ordered everything off the HH menu. Our large party had a wonderful time at Favorite Bistro. Some of us parked in the Linq garage and some of us parked across the street east of the Linq. Locals appreciate free parking for 3 hours with their Nevada ID. We had reservations and were seated on time but due to our large party they sat us at two tables near each other. Ever the optimists we requested combining the tables into a large rectangle and the manager John saw our vision and allowed us to squeeze in for our dinner. The waitstaff was great, we ordered French onion soups and we enjoyed the truffle fries and chicken paillard, their salads were pretty big and everything was fresh and delicious. We were disappointed that they had run out of Brie and escargot but we just figured it was a sign to return. There's live music up front and the restaurant is lively but not too loud. The Linq area has a lot going on even on a Monday evening which makes for some fun people watching. read more
