Where do I even start. It was perhaps the best meal I've had! My family and I went to celebrate my mom's birthday and it was such a special night. I tried to take pics of everything, but we were so busy living in the moment I forgot a few things. I reserved a 6:15pm table for 6 of us, and we waited in a very comfortable waiting area with couches for just a few minutes. We were in AWE of the table they gave us inside- awesome inside corner booth with a beautiful view of the Bellagio fountain show. I'm not sure if our table was this incredible because I listed "birthday" as the occasion in the reservation, or if we just got incredibly lucky. To be fair, there's not too many tables that DON'T have a spectacular view but if you're celebrating something, definitely let them know in the res! We started with oysters (SO sweet and delicious), shrimp cocktail, focaccia, and the prosciutto. I had to make note of the prosciutto ingredients to try to recreate at home sometime. For mains, the table got branzino, lobster risotto x2, filet x2, and the ribeye. I got a bite of everyone's dish and there was not one thing below a 10/10. I would recommend ordering a handful of different sides for the table if you're dining with 4-6 people- it was fun to share those family style, and honestly the mushrooms side was maybe the best mushroom dish we've ever had. Service was friendly, helpful, and very attentive. No one ever had an empty glass, a dirty plate, or an unanswered question. At the end of dinner service, they brought out a tiramisu dessert with a candle for my mom on the house which was so kind and really made her night. read more

I saw the Lago patio from the Spago and decided to try it the next night. As a solo diner I felt that the hostess was very indifferent. Waiting for a table on the patio or the windows was not an option on a Tuesday night, even though it didn't look packed. Busy but not packed. Landed up sitting at the bar where I enjoyed the company of Zach, the bartender, and a couple of different scotches. Ordered the gnocchi. Totally enjoyed it. 6/25/26 Guess after Julian retired, the menu went down hill. His recipes were the best & will be missed. I love the bartenders who have worked here for a long time. Only one hostess seems to enjoy working here, the rest are rude. I'll give you an example of what being a great hostess of a restaurant is supposed to do. We walked in at 12:15, no seats at the bar, no server for high-tops & patio was closed. At that point, a great hostess wouldn't turn customers away being that there was availability at 12:45 to dine at a table. Neither hostess offered to check & turned us away. We got online & went back over to see if that 12:45 table would be available.. yes it was & we were seated within ten minutes. If we hadn't checked online someone else would've gotten our business. The indoor patio was right at the window so we could watch the fountains. Spectacular ambiance! Aside from the crying kids, not their fault. Let's get into the food. This is the third chance that I've given this restaurant because I am sad to see it go so down hill. No more Bolognese either along w/ many other menu items. Grilled Shrimp Caesar Salad 5/5. Excellent amount of dressing & the shrimp were more like prawns & just enough for the whole salad. Shrimp Cocktail 1/5 this time as I got food poisoning again & I doubt it was from the Margherita Pizza 4/5. The Garlic Aioli went perfect w/ the pizza crust BTW. No sliced tomato on top just super thin layer of cheese & sauce. Portnoy would give it a 0 probably. Chicken Parmesan 1/5 everytime it comes out different. No consistency & we had food poisoning the first & last time we ordered it. However, next time we saw it, it looked different. (Within two months) Agnolotti 1/5 way too rich & salty! Never had a pasta I didnt like like I have had here & at Carbone Riveria just unreal to me. Oysters 5/5 Wine, champagne excellent still. I have not tried the Lasagna, but it looked beautiful! Great restaurant with views of the Bellagio fountain. I came here with my family and we were hoping to sit outside by the water but the wait was too long. Luckily the hostess said she would sit us inside by the window with a view. I ordered the Sorrento Spritz to drink. It was refreshing and had a nice lemon flavor. For food I got the Chicken Parmesan. I came here with family when they were visiting town. I have been in for dinner before but this was the first time visiting around brunch. I ordered the mortadella sandwich. It was delicious the bread on the outside was perfect toasted which created a beautiful texture while biting into the sandwich. I also enjoyed dessert. I love tiramisu so if it's on the menu I will order it. Service was good. We had a reservation and asked if we could be seated outside with a view. It would be a little bit of a wait. While staying at the Bellagio over the weekend my husband and I came here to have breakfast on Sunday. What a beautiful restaurant with a beautiful view and great customer service. The menu looked so good but we wanted to order breakfast so we both got the American Breakfast that came with two eggs, bacon, sausage and cubed hash browns. It tasted average just like any other breakfast spot. The bacon was a bit overcooked and salty for me so I didn't eat it. I really regretted not ordering from the lunch menu cause the salads and the pizza looked so good and appetizing unlike my meal. Next time we will skip breakfast and come here for lunch or dinner even though some of their breakfast items such as French toast looked and sounded good. The perfect spot. Came for a late Sunday brunch. We had perfect views of the fountains when they went off at 11:30. The patio area was closed but you could go stand out on the balcony to watch. I rarely leave negative reviews, but our dinner at LAGO was disappointing enough that I felt it was worth writing one. My mom and I came for dinner and initially wanted to sit outside along the railing overlooking the water. We were told those particular seats required a minimum spend, which immediately felt excessive and unnecessary, so we chose to sit inside instead. We ordered San Pellegrino, the margherita pizza, octopus, and gnocchi. Unfortunately, the problems started with the service and continued with the food. Our busser, Jacob, repeatedly tried to pour still water into our glasses despite us explaining that we were drinking sparkling water. Eventually, he came over and poured regular water directly into my glass anyway. When I pointed it out, he apologized, took the glass away, dumped it out, and then refilled it using the San Pellegrino we had paid for! After repeatedly telling him not to mix the waters, it became frustrating, and unnecessarily wasted part of our bottle. The food was the bigger issue. The margherita pizza was overwhelmingly salty. The cheese itself was good, but the amount of salt overpowered everything else. Then the octopus arrived and was somehow even saltier. Both my mom and I tried it, and it was genuinely difficult to eat. It tasted as though an enormous amount of salt had been added to the dish. Neither of us could finish it. The gnocchi was also disappointing. The presentation and texture were not at all what I expected from gnocchi, and after eating it I felt extremely bloated and uncomfortable. What made the food situation even stranger was that we actually asked the gentleman sitting at the table next to us about some of the other dishes because he had ordered several things, including the lasagna and pasta. We were considering whether we should try something else, so we asked him what he thought. He told us that the dishes he had ordered were incredibly greasy and that he was unable to finish them. We thanked him for letting us know and decided against ordering anything else. Obviously that was another customer's individual experience, but hearing essentially the same level of disappointment from the table beside us did not inspire much confidence that simply ordering another dish would solve the problem. Service throughout dinner also felt scattered. Our server, Ali, seemed to constantly be rushing elsewhere, and several times we had to actively get his attention or approach him when we needed something. Conversations felt rushed because he would seemingly disappear again immediately afterward. To his credit, once we explained how unhappy we were with the food, Ali handled the situation professionally and adjusted the bill, and an espresso afterward was also comped. I appreciate that and want to give credit where it is due. Unfortunately, that did not change the overall experience. Between the minimum-spend requirement for the desirable outdoor seats, inattentive service, repeated water issue, our own dishes being excessively salty and difficult to eat, and even the diner beside us telling us that the dishes he ordered were so greasy he couldn't finish them, the entire experience felt far below what I expected from a restaurant at this price point. We came because LAGO looked promising from the reviews, but it ultimately felt extremely overhyped. Las Vegas has far too many excellent restaurants at this price point for me to recommend LAGO based on our experience. read more

What a great lunch I had at Lago. It's a really nicely set restaurant right on the fountains at the Bellagio. The staff is very friendly and everything we had was very good. Started with the hamachi crudo, shrimp cocktail and beef tartare. I didn't eat the beef but was told it was delicious. The shrimp were huge and clean the crudo was a flavorful burst of greatness. The server came to take or drink order. The prosecco was bubbly, light with hints of fruit. We started with the Caprese Salad - 10/10 - the dressing, tomatoes, basil and croutons were delicious. I ate here twice in the last three nights. One of my favorite restaurants although in full disclosure, I haven't tried everything in Vegas. The service is impeccable and the food is very consistent. The bar is open to the main walkway in Bellagio. So the people watching is pretty fantastic. I'm always intrigued by the persona that people put on while in Vegas versus their normal lives wherever. Once again, I ordered the Hamachi appetizer which is sashimi with some grapefruit, lemon and crushed pistachios. Probably some other ingredients but it's phenomenal. And then I had the octopus which is braised in a marinara sauce of sorts and some frisé. On my first night, I had the fillet which was on a bed of polenta. Cooked perfectly and incredibly tasty. My second night I had the pappardelle bolognese which freshly made and just melts in your mouth. Decent wine menu and I think I ordered a Chardonnay my second night while my first I had a pretty delicious dirty martini with blue cheese olives. The casino did a fine job prior with some yummy Cabernet so I couldn't finish my martini. What do you do at that point? Is there a martini Goodwill? I'll definitely be back to Lago. read more

My family and I had an amazing dinner on our last night in Vegas at Lago. It was our first time here and we will definitely be back! Our table had a fountain view and it was right by the window! I think it was pure luck we were seated here. We made a reservation, but I had asked about outdoor seating and it was fully booked out for the night due to large parties, so I asked for a inside fountain view instead and we got seated at the perfect table for a party of 4. The food was incredible and we loved our waiter as well. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the focaccia bread to start off with and had a few drinks. I ordered a hugo spritz and it was pretty good! For our entrees, I ordered the special, which was truffle pasta. I've always wanted to try truffle even though it's expensive (as is everything in vegas lol but it was $75). I had steak for lunch and I don't like seafood so it was the perfect option for me. I thought it was some of the best pasta I've had!! For dessert, we ordered the tiramisu and it was pretty good. I've had better homemade tiramisu before, but it was still worth it. I felt like there was more whipped cream than the actual tiramisu. The ice cream that came with it was great as well. We also got lucky and watched the Air Force Thunderbirds fly over the strip at 7:20pm. This made dinner a lot special! Had no idea this was happening until the day of. We really like it here but the hostess' is where the star was lost.. waited 20+ min after our reservation time to be sat, no apology or acknowledgment of the wait, also no happy birthday comments made or passed on to our server although it was stated in our reservation. Oysters were fresh, Caesar salad good, however as much as I love anchovies I wasn't a big fan of their breaded and deep fried version. I guess that are to be the crouton in the Caesar. Located in the Bellagio hotel, this restaurant offers simple menu of standard American cuisine. When we walked in on a Thursday morning, we were told to find available seats at the bar since we didn't have any reservation. The breakfast menu was very simple with pancakes, French toast, and egg and toast. Some other patrons were ordering pizzas, pasta, and noodles. When I asked if they could substitute bacon's with salmon or other choices, I was told they no longer carry salmon. I ordered the French toast and my husband ordered the pancake. The French toast was beautiful and delicious, but there was no berries on top. My husband's pancakes only had a few blue berries on top, but the serving size of the pancake was generous. Our bill came to $50, which was reasonable for a strip location. The service was great and the waiters were very friendly. Decent experience overall. read more

Super disappointed to take family here on their one night on the Strip. I blame myself for not checking reviews and seeing that Lago has clearly gone downhill. Every single dish was subpar, even the Parmesan foccacia bread (which you'd think would be impossible). The foccacia tasted frozen then reheated and the octopus was chewy and basically just drowning in a salty marinara sauce. The bread that came with the whipped ricotta was greasy and stale tasting and the "whipped ricotta" was squeezed out of a tube into a very unappealing plating. The chicken had very soggy skin that you had to peel off to even attempt to eat it. My stepson's pizza came out looking fantastic but did not taste half as good as it looked. The only decent dish we enjoyed was the agnolotti in the brown butter sauce, and my father in law said his salmon was fine. One person in our party didn't get their entree until at least 5 minutes after everyone else and we had to flag down our server to ask about it. At this point, there was no way we were trying dessert and once again had to flag our server down to ask for the check. We will definitely not be returning and wouldn't recommend. Ehhh not worth it... My friends and I came here for lunch right after we landed. I ordered the wagyu cheeseburger. I really liked the fries and they give you your own little bottle of ketchup. The burger was not the best burger I've ever had, but definitely the most expensive ($31!). It came with nothing on it but grilled onions, which had a very strange taste to them. However, the food quality did not warrant the wait or the price. The steak and eggs were very average. It was good, but nothing that couldn't be replicated at home. The panna cotta was good, but the cover it in basically strawberry puree. It had zero flavor and tasted so bland. It needed a bit of sugar or acid or something. I had to scoop and then pour off as much of the liquid strawberries as I could. However, once done, the panna cotta itself was lovely with the fresh fruit. Updated review from our last visit. The one sad thing about the Bellagio is its lack of quick-service restaurants. We were thinking about going outside on the strip, but stopped here on a whim. Luckily, they had room in the bar where you can still get full dinner service. Saved! This is the 4th time we've had dinner here, so it must be OK. This particular visit was excellent. The beef carpaccio was simplistic, the GF penne was a bit too toothsome for our party and the branzino portion was on the smaller side.
