It was absolutely an amazing experience! I always travel by myself and you cannot make a reservation for one person to sit on the patio and have the amazing experience of the fountains. I have been wanting to do this for years. The two hostesses Elvira and Breanna were so sweet and made it happen for me. I am beyond thankful. It was absolutely incredible. Then my waiter Mike was super nice and friendly and the service was excellent.!! The food was delicious. I am not a big drinker so I'm not a big tab for a waiter/waitress but Mike spent time talking with me and made sure I was well taken care of. What a great lunch I had at Lago. It's a really nicely set restaurant right on the fountains at the Bellagio. The staff is very friendly and everything we had was very good. Started with the hamachi crudo, shrimp cocktail and beef tartare. I didn't eat the beef but was told it was delicious. The shrimp were huge and clean the crudo was a flavorful burst of greatness. I've been here three times - first two times was back to back nights in January 2026 - first I ordered the steak- medium well and it was raw in the middle. I know steaks are hard especially a place that does pasta and pizzas. The second night I order Lobster Risotto, it was delicious! We also ordered fries as an appetizer, fries were prefect. The drinks both nights, Rosé I had was a good dry Rosé. The third time we went was over Easter Weekend. I went with a group of 6. I ordered the pizza. It was good pizza, not the best I've ever had but good. We also ordered fries again, we ordered raw beef dish (can't remember the name) it was good. 3 out of 6 of us ordered red meat. 2 spilt the Lamb and 1 ordered the steak. All meals were under cooked with 3/4 of the meat was just full of fat pieces. The last person in our group had lasagna, it was cold unfortunately. The waiter we had that night ignored most of our group, didn't bring drinks or ask us if we wanted drinks. When we did want to finish up, they brought out 3 desserts to make up the difference. The problem was we were all so tired, we felt like it was rude of us we didn't eat them. We all did take a bite and they were good. Now if you do go here, have the Lobster Risotto, have the pizza, and the best part we all enjoyed every night we went, the Espresso is delicious and spot on! I giving three stars cause I haven't had the worse experience but I want the restaurant to know the waiter was bad the last time, the meals weren't consistent. Service was Amazing, I felt like a VIP. We were seated at the middle table right in front of the fountains. The table was decorated and had a beautiful arrangement of flowers. The server came to take or drink order. The prosecco was bubbly, light with hints of fruit. We started with the Caprese Salad - 10/10 - the dressing, tomatoes, basil and croutons were delicious. We just got to Vegas today, so we didn't have a reservation, but the hostess directed us to comfortable seats at the bar. Our server, Zachary, was friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed conversing with him. The Chicken Parmesan was delicious! The portion was generous and the spaghetti that accompanied it was fine. Great location and wonderful service! We came to Lago for brunch while shopping in the strip. Overall, the experience was good but it wasn't a standout. Located in the Bellagio hotel, this restaurant offers simple menu of standard American cuisine. When we walked in on a Thursday morning, we were told to find available seats at the bar since we didn't have any reservation. The breakfast menu was very simple with pancakes, French toast, and egg and toast. Some other patrons were ordering pizzas, pasta, and noodles. When I asked if they could substitute bacon's with salmon or other choices, I was told they no longer carry salmon. I ordered the French toast and my husband ordered the pancake. The French toast was beautiful and delicious, but there was no berries on top. My husband's pancakes only had a few blue berries on top, but the serving size of the pancake was generous. Our bill came to $50, which was reasonable for a strip location. The service was great and the waiters were very friendly. Decent experience overall. read more

Super disappointed to take family here on their one night on the Strip. I blame myself for not checking reviews and seeing that Lago has clearly gone downhill. Every single dish was subpar, even the Parmesan foccacia bread (which you'd think would be impossible). The foccacia tasted frozen then reheated and the octopus was chewy and basically just drowning in a salty marinara sauce. The bread that came with the whipped ricotta was greasy and stale tasting and the "whipped ricotta" was squeezed out of a tube into a very unappealing plating. The chicken had very soggy skin that you had to peel off to even attempt to eat it. My stepson's pizza came out looking fantastic but did not taste half as good as it looked. The only decent dish we enjoyed was the agnolotti in the brown butter sauce, and my father in law said his salmon was fine. One person in our party didn't get their entree until at least 5 minutes after everyone else and we had to flag down our server to ask about it. At this point, there was no way we were trying dessert and once again had to flag our server down to ask for the check. We will definitely not be returning and wouldn't recommend. There are so many incredible Italian restaurants in Vegas, this is just not one of them. read more

This review is solely based on the FOOD. Because everyone can see that the location and views are spectacular. But the cuisine, not so much! I ordered the Caesar salad, which came soggy and was mediocre at best. I also ordered the vegetarian lasagna, and it too was mediocre. You could tell the pasta was cooked al dente (which is how I like it) and the scarce amount of sauce tasted pretty fresh, but none of it stood out to me. My wife was in the mood for lobster all day, so she went with a plain spaghetti dish with a half lobster. She literally pulled out only a few small pieces of lobster leaving her yearning for more. She left almost all of the spaghetti because she said it was overbearing with tons of large pieces of garlic. Her dish alone was regrettably $100 just by itself. To say our meals were disappointing would be an understatement. Classic example of a restaurant that has great views with underwhelming food. In addition, the menu did not have a good assortment of dishes to choose from. The only memorable part of Lago was the view of the Fountains, while the food was the part we would gladly like to forget. read more

There were 3 of us last Friday evening. Although we didn't order entrees, we ordered a number of appetizers, including the $155 seafood tower. The food was good, and we enjoyed. However, the server had more to be desired. He started pushing us to order entrees and we said we wanted to eat our appetizers first. He kept on several times. When it came time to order wine, our friend who is a sommelier wanted to taste one of the wines, but was not permitted so ordered a glass. He started asking the 2 of us what bottle we wanted and said we were waiting to hear how she liked the white. ThEN he tries to sell her a different bottle of white. Again, we explained she wanted to taste it first. He started recommending yet another bottle, and it was at that time my other friend said 'Forget it we aren't ordering any wine" We went to two other very high end restaurants the next two nights and this type of service didn't happen. As a matter of fact, we tasted the wine before we even ordered it! Our next trip to Vegas will not include this restaurant, nor will we recommend. When my classmates/friends & I spent the last day in Vegas, we decided to dine in a fine restaurant of Lago. This has been my 3rd visit at this restaurant. We do have reservation & just waited for 5 minutes for our table. We got the table with the view. We ordered individual meals. We had the regular coffee but I requested for oat milk. The server Karlyn was nice describing to me with my order Eggplant Milanese, my friends ordered Ricotta Pancake with easy eggs on the side, Eggs Benedict with side toast, and American Breakfast. I enjoyed my Eggplant Milanese that was crunchy on the outside and tender/juicy on the inside. I can taste the provolone. The eggplant was a meat substitute, with a "meaty" texture that was highly satisfying. The other friend said the pancake was thick and she preferred the thin one. The rest enjoyed their delicious food. The staff kept on refilling our coffee. I must have drank 4 cups of coffee. The staff and server shown excellent service. The dining room was clean and bright with beautiful decors. We don't mind returning on our next visit of Vegas. read more

Ehhh not worth it... My friends and I came here for lunch right after we landed. I ordered the wagyu cheeseburger. I really liked the fries and they give you your own little bottle of ketchup. The burger was not the best burger I've ever had, but definitely the most expensive ($31!). It came with nothing on it but grilled onions, which had a very strange taste to them. I went to Lago for Valentine's Day with a friend and had a great experience. We sat indoors with a gorgeous view of the Bellagio fountains, which made the atmosphere feel extra special. The fountains go off every 30 minutes, and we saw them go off 3 times during our meal. The service was excellent. Our server was attentive and well-paced. She always made sure our water was full! However, the food quality did not warrant the wait or the price. The steak and eggs were very average. It was good, but nothing that couldn't be replicated at home. The panna cotta was good, but the cover it in basically strawberry puree. It had zero flavor and tasted so bland. It needed a bit of sugar or acid or something. I had to scoop and then pour off as much of the liquid strawberries as I could. However, once done, the panna cotta itself was lovely with the fresh fruit. Updated review from our last visit. The one sad thing about the Bellagio is its lack of quick-service restaurants. We were thinking about going outside on the strip, but stopped here on a whim. Luckily, they had room in the bar where you can still get full dinner service. Saved! This is the 4th time we've had dinner here, so it must be OK. This particular visit was excellent. I just enjoyed an amazing lunch at Lago. We started with the focaccia. Delicious. Then we split the lobster risotto and filet mignon. Both were perfectly cooked and amazing. For dessert, we were torn between the panna cotta and budino. Because it was my birthday, they brought out a little panna cotta with a candle. So, I ordered the budino. They both were delicious, but I would pick the panna cotta next time. The budino was a little too rich for me. The panna cotta was so refreshing and the custard was nice and thick. A perfect flavor combination. I can't wait to go back. The only downside was that the fountains don't go during weekdays until 3pm. We dropped by around lunch and didn't have to wait long. Our server, Denise, was spectacular. Restaurants this upscale don't just hire anyone, they hire Denise. She covered menu questions and described the specials. As we dined she refilled my soda and made sure everything was good. We started with focaccia and seasoned butter. Bucatini carbonara with salmon was my choice. Fresh made noodles are so much better and the salmon was cooked perfectly. My wife had a caprese salad. Fresh basil and bread crumbs took it up a notch. Lago may cost more but as with many things you get what you pay for. Beautiful design, incredible service and delicious food. We definitely will visit again on a trip to Las Vegas. read more

Service seemed a bit spotty, a bit rushed and was put off by the photographer taking pictures of diners who wanted to sell her photos for $50. The food itself was good and accommodating for one in our party with a gluten free restriction. Ordered the Beef Carpaccio, Seafood Risotto, Clam Pasta with GF penne, Beef Filet, Margherita Pizetta and Branzino. The only remarkable items were the Seafood Risotto, Margherita Pizetta and Beef Filet. The beef carpaccio was simplistic, the GF penne was a bit too toothsome for our party and the branzino portion was on the smaller side. Not sure if I'd dine here again, it is good ... but so are many other restaurants on the strip. We ate here for a late lunch and had a great time! It's a casino restaurant with views of the casino floor, but the restaurant itself feels modern and clean. The restaurant has its own bathrooms which are also very clean. Our server was great; attentive but not overbearing. The only thing off ambience-wise is that there was a very loud, visibly drunk woman seated at the bar. We ordered the caviar with gnocchi fritti and burrata ($185) as an appetizer. This was the highlight as it was fun to eat, but I felt like it was missing some of the stronger flavors caviar is usually served with. I'd have liked it to be accompanied by horseradish or something pickled to add some brightness. My partner ordered the mafaldine ($35) which he loved. It had a bit of a kick to it and the veggies on top had a great texture. I had the lobster risotto ($63) which was cooked perfectly al dente. However, it had chopped tomatoes throughout which tasted underripe. It threw off the taste of the whole dish. It was still pretty good, but for the price, I was expecting more. Overall, I think this restaurant is really nice, especially for brunch or lunch, but I don't think it's a good fit for a fancy date vibe, especially considering the other options in the hotel. read more
