Wonderful addition to downtown Cary. Casual, bright atmosphere- both tables and couches. Wifi free. Coffee made with love and care. Had granola-n- yogurt, hubby had oatmeal and a bagel. Best for us is that it's a 2 mile walk from our house. Do give Brew a try you won't be disappointed. read more

I like this coffee shop more for the location and atmosphere than anything. It's right in the middle of downtown Cary and short walk from everything else. The last few times we have been there the coffee wasn't very good and the service is very slow. For a coffee shop I expect to get a good latte or a cappuccino but that just wasn't the case and by the time I got my coffee it was not very hot. It also would be nice if they had other milk options than almond and regular milk. I like to come back here and I hope things are different next time. read more

My experience: Drinks all one size (not very large) and overpriced. One of the drinks I got was a macchiato and I will admit I am not a coffee expert so I assumed it would be like I have gotten at Starbucks and every other coffee shop I have been to. When I got the cup and it felt empty I looked in it and saw a little bit of stuff. The guy who worked there didn't look surprised at my disappointment and asked if I was expecting something else and I said I was. He said Starbucks does it wrong and this is how a real one should be. He said it in such a condescending tone. The cookies I got were dried out and tasteless (we ended up tossing them out the window). When I handed my husband his mocha he commented that not only was the cup small but it wasn't close to full. $19 wasted. read more

Decent good with a small menu. Portions are astonishingly normal for the sandwiches we tried. Doesn't look like they're participating in the Super-size everything (including your patrons) race. That's a good thing. Coffee is decent. Better than Starbucks, not as good as Crema on High House. Plus: it's juxtaposed between four Pokéstops. You should be able to hit at least two while you're enjoying a drink. Maybe three if your GPS goes haywire. read more

Probably my first and last visit to BREW. The coffee is good I'll give them that. The parking is near impossible even on a Friday at 2:30. I picked this location to meet out of town family. I didn't realize there would be LAN party happening at that exact time. The majority of customers were on laptops. Apparently, if you have a backpack and laptop stand, you can occupy a table as three patrons. Luckily by the time they arrived four seats opened up in a secluded hallway. Not ideal but it beat sitting at the bar. The outside patio and upstairs were occupied with couples or single laptop users. Really wanted to like this place, but the coffee literally left a strange taste in my mouth. I don't drink coffee a lot, but I do know that whatever I had tasted VERY strange and not coffee like at all. Maybe it was old, but it was very sour/tangy, and watery. The space is nice, though small so don't expect to snag a table if you are looking for a place to work. I love this coffee shop! Not only is it one of the very few in the area (think La Farm, etc) but it's my top choice. I was addicted to the cortados but am now on the macchiato kick, less milk! Friendly baristas, good coffee, yummy snacks, great neighborhood, and available parking- what more do you need? This location is unique because it's located inside the same building as a movie theatre therefore serves lots of family-friendly customers. There's parking around the back of the building (entrance is a small street besides a jeweler or on the other side of the building near a bar called the pharmacy- make sure to only park where there isn't a sign for 'kitchen and bath galleries') to avoid getting towed. There are bathrooms in the back of the coffee shop along with two hidden single couches. There are a few metal tables and a bunch of single couches under the staircase. Shocked. Went there on Wednesday morning, looking forward to a great cup of coffee. Purchased one for over $3.00 and they proceeded to top it off with milk instead of cream. As a serious coffee drinker for over 50 years now, I can easily tell the difference. Had I known that they had no cream in the place to offer, I would have turned around and walked out. Love the atmosphere and the coffee. Not too crowded (depending on the time of day). They have a strip of outlets along the wall, so it's a great place to study. The baristas are super friendly. Parking is limited because they share a lot with a bunch of other shops. Also, when they're super busy, it gets pretty slow because I usually see one person behind the machine. Brew is located in a really cool space but the coffee is just okay. They are connected to the cinema on one of the main streets in Cary. They have outdoor seating and a few options for seating inside. The ambiance is very modern and clean. They have a decently large drink menu and a very small food menu. I tried an iced americano and it honestly wasn't great. I couldn't finish it because I didn't enjoy it. My boyfriend had a regular coffee of which he also couldn't finish. This place may be good for studying. If you like starbucks (ie. burntish) coffee then you will probably enjoy it here. If you are in need of a jolt you could definitely stop here but there is better coffee a little drive away. read more

I went to BREW to get some work done on a late Saturday afternoon, and it was wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful -- the barista gave my girlfriend samples of multiple different wines before she chose, and I was really impressed with how well they brewed my green tea, as I've had lots of bad experiences with tea at other coffee shops. They happily let me steep my leaves a second time as well. We accidentally stayed a few minutes past closing, but they were very friendly and didn't push us out the door at all! Brew is a great spot for good coffee with a cozy atmosphere for sitting and chatting or working. It's got the best cappuccino I've had in the Raleigh/Cary area. The barristas know what they are doing and make the drinks with care. Brew also has an array of baked goods (including some gluten free ones). The shop is right next to the Cary Theater. read more

I went with my boyfriend who is a huge fan of coffee and got a tea. The workers were extremely nice and my boyfriend said it was a great latte. My London Fog was also good. One of the workers ended up talking to us a bit and it shows he clearly is passionate about coffee and knew a lot regarding the different flavors brought out in the brewing process and pairings of syrups. His passion for his work made this place so enjoyable for me. Also, the environment created was extremely comforting to me. I would be happy to stop by anytime. read more

This is definitely a much welcomed addition to Cary. It's a nice open space with seating in and outdoors. On this day I decided to pop in for coffee to go. I've been to the Raleigh Seaboard station loc before for an iced coffee and sandwich so I knew that a latte coffee would be good. I ordered a nonfat, extra hot vanilla latte and also decided one of their baked treats...a banana peanut butter and oat bar..Both items did not disappoint.
