This was a cute little brunch place, we ordered bunnies. Just as we expected, good food, service and ambiance Would return and try other items like the Lobster brown butter

One of THE best spots for breakfast in YYC. What you're looking at is the Honey Chili Chicken & Waffle ($24), Caramel Apple Pancakes ($21), and Vietnamese coffee ($6.9). Drinking Vietnamese coffee is a game changer. I thoroughly enjoyed it, super creamy and delicious. The chicken and waffle was easily some of the best food I've eaten in Calgary so far. It's a corn waffle and the chicken was marinated before fried. To add, there was a pickle slaw. PICKLE SLAW. I don't think I can eat regular coleslaw ever again, I'm converted. You can tell that everything is house made: the hollandaise, waffles, and chicken. My ONLY gripe was that this waffle wasn't as spicy as I expected. It was barely spicy. But wow was this savoury dish delicious. Now onto the best tasting dish ever. Brekkie's Caramel Apple Pancakes. This is the type of meal you eat on your death bed, it's that good. I'm talking THICK, fluffy buttermilk pancakes, house made apple pie filling, brown butter caramel custard, and not too sweet real whipped cream. If you eat anything in Calgary, let it be this dish. It had us scrapping the plate clean. Brekkie put a lot of Saskatchewan restaurants to shame with this one. If you plan on going, make a reservation. It fills up quite fast and parking can be atrocious.

We were in Calgary and Banff for 10 days and of all the breakfast places we went, brekkie was the best! Every single dish we ordered was on point. The Old School had wonderful sourdough and a nice side salad, the Apricot Almond Toast was delicious, my daughter had the French toast and loved it, and the absolute best dish was a special monthly feature of Peach Pancakes. The peach pancakes were really amazing, it was very thick pancakes with the sides slightly crispy, meanwhile the inside of the pancake was like a delicious bread pudding. It was breakfast perfection. Coffee, service, and cleanliness were also great. We did have to wait around 15-20 minutes for a table, but they had a good waitlist system.

The prices are way too high for breakfast food. My mom had the Saskatoonbeery pancakes. $26.50 for pancakes! And my short rib dish had barely any meat

Chocolate hazelnut pancake - not super sweet, absolutely delicious with lots of pieces of hazelnut!

Came back again during the Christmas holidays and it was just as good as the first time! The wait time was still reasonable considering all the big groups and busy season. We got seated as soon as they could. Food was just as delicious as the first time. We had a kid with us this time; their kids menu is so affordable, well thought out with some really good choices that an adult would love but with sprinkles and boba that will have kids excited too! Happy to have this place for brunch that's close to me and can't wait to keep bringing new people with me!

For our last meal in Canada, my cousin and I headed to this place due to their raving reviews, and this one is just gonna add on to it! This place is in west Calgary and maybe a 25 min drive from the airport. There is a pretty spacious parking lot available, so we didn't have any trouble finding a spot. We walked in and were seated immediately with no reservations even when it was pretty packed with a good amount of people. Although this didn't impede on the service since we were also greeted and given waters pretty quickly as well. The atmosphere is so relaxing with cute decor and large windows to let that natural light shine through. They also have a good amount of plants around, and it was so aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Their menu has a good variety of dishes to choose from, ranging from something savory like a short rib poutine to something sweet and light like a peach Bellini bowl. I decided on something more savory choosing the creamy lobster newborn benny, while my cousin got the brekkie toast for something more traditional. I also got a chai tea on the side, and it hit the spot, warming me right on up! The lobster benny was SO good! It was served on a puff pastry, so the butter paired with the creaminess of the sherry sauce and hollandaise. Chef's kiss! Would definitely recommend that for those who want something filling. If you've got time to head out here, def do! If you don't, make the time cause it is worth it.

My husband and I had an amazing brunch here! We got the fried egg sammie, ranchers brekkie and the lemon raspberry pancakes. The lemon raspberry pancakes were the best pancakes I've ever had. The outside was crispy but the inside was fluffy - absolutely magical!! Also loved the cereal crumble on it The fried egg sammie was so good. I'm a huge fan of breakfast sandwiches, especially w a brioche bun!! I got mine w bacon and it was very tasty. My husband got the ranchers brekkie and the braised beef was pretty good! We didn't have a reservation but I think we came right after the morning rush on a weekday and got seated right away. I would highly recommend this place for brunch! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here :)

Brunch pancakes are the best - with lavender and berry compote/sauce... Yums!!!! I was looking for a brunch place and this was it! They had the usually waffles and sausages and the avocado toast. This place was packed! So make sure that you've either made a reservation in advance or you come here early so you can dine in. We had to sit on the window side because all the tables were full. Cheers!

    Waiting to be seated!

Yes 5 star for an awesome brunch spot in Calgary .. we were visiting for one night and wanted to check this place based on menu and review! It sure didn't disappoint! Seated fast although we had no reservations, super friendly staff, and an amazing food.. everything we ordered was top notch! And the coffee was so good that I ordered delivery to Ottawa when I came back from the trip!

This place is EXCELLENT! So so so good! One of my new favorite Breakfast restaurants in Calgary. Just wish it wasn't so far! lol. I ordered the Duck Confit benny and it was perfect. The duck was tasty, the eggs were perfectly cooked and the Chinese style corn bread waffle on the bottom was so satisfying with when you ask for a side of maple syrup. I also ordered their YYC Pina colada hot chocolate they made for the YYC Hot Chocolate Festival. I have tried 5 hot chocolates this month and Brekkie is my favorite... my only issue was the price. $9 for a hot chocolate is quite steep. My husband ordered the Ranchman's breakfast and really enjoyed it too. Definitely recommend this place if you want a good brunch!

Originally 4 stars but 5 stars given they professionally remedied the situation…read more I went here on a Tuesday morning for brunch and it was still fairly busy, but I was seated immediately. If you show up after 9am, be prepared to wait a bit or make reservations in advance on Toast to be safe. I tried their newer item, birria de res eggs benedict, which is served on cheese bannock, an indigenous Canadian bread, and opted to sub potatoes/salad for garlic fried rice for 3 CAD surcharge, which is well worth it. The beef was tender and the eggs are perfectly runny and the cheese bannock added heartiness and a more unique texture compared to English muffin. It is a combo of Mexican, indigenous Canadian, and Filipino influences all in 1 dish! To pair with the food, I had a pineapple mimosa which was of good portion. Originally, the dish had hair so I caught it and flagged the issue, so they immediately remade the whole dish for me, apologized, and comped my mimosa so despite losing 10 min of my time, I am okay with this remedy, so I rate this experience for the food and service outside of this incident. This is one of the more innovative and delicious brunch spots I have tried, so it is no surprise this place is fairly hyped up

It came with thick cut smoked salmon on top of sushi seasoned rice with poached eggs, seaweed, and spinach on the side. The seaweed pieces tasted old and were hard to chew. The seasoned rice had too much vinegar in it. The poached egg and salmon tasted fine. It also came with miso soup but it tasted strange, not sure why there was oil in it... miso soup usually does not contain oil. My fiance got the Breakfast in Manila and thought it was alright as well. The rice was too salty and the sausage tasted like low quality meat. It seemed like they were short on waitresses and it took a while for them to take our order and for us to get the check. This place is also a plant store and it felt cozy. Overall had a decent experience.

By the time it arrived, everything was stone cold. The cheese was literally hard from melting and then going cold, the potatoes were undercooked and raw, and the entire meal was completely inedible. Spending $35 on food that went straight in the garbage is beyond frustrating, it's infuriating. And the $5 "seasonal fruit bowl" looked like someone's picked-over leftovers. A couple random pieces tossed in a container and sent out like that's acceptable? It's honestly disgusting and shows a complete lack of quality control. At this point, I would've been better off ordering McDonald's for a third of the price, because at least it would've shown up hot and edible. This is careless, overpriced, and completely unacceptable. 1STAR. Complete fail.
