While in search of a cute affordable brunch place during my stay in Calgary, I stumbled across this Korean fusion cafe. They are only open for breakfast/brunch, so I feel lucky I found it before they closed at 3! The interiors are really cute with lots of cool art and fun posters that immediately catch the eye. The menus are also nicely designed, with colors that pop. But don't be fooled by pretty exteriors, the food more than lives up to expectations. I got a version of the nasi goreng, which came with rice, kale, soft shell crab, and Brussel sprouts, all making for a great lunch experience. They also have a unique selection of drinks inspired by Asian flavors. The service was great and I didn't feel rushed at all even though I came in an hour before closing. The only slight downside (not the restaurant's fault) is that parking is difficult to find, which I found to be true of most of Calgary's neighborhoods. But don't let that deter you from giving this place a try - your eyes and stomach will thank you.

Loved brunch here !! We got a table straight away and it's a clean fairly quiet space , servers were friendly and quick to check on us. Had the crispy chicken sandwich + waffle fries. Great sauce on the sandwich and very crisp chicken. Big portion of fries. The half churro was amazing , it was a croissant churro and came with a chocolate sauce + whip cream. Also got the classic breakfast plate , all was perfect. The udon was a large portion + tasty sauce and toppings. I tried an iced mocha latte , pretty good definitely ask for less sweet unless you like it very sweet. Iced matcha was smooth.

We had a great brunch here with: * So-soft crab benny: fried soft shell crab, crabmeat, two poached eggs, basil-pesto hollandaise, and salad * Brou-ssam: chunk bacon, arugula, scrambled eggs, fried brussels sprouts, roasted potatoes, pineapple salsa, and spicy ketchup Each dish was innovative, flavorful, and beautiful. My crab benny even looked like a crab! Parking was difficult as the parking app did not accept the license plate for our car for some reason, but the restaurant had a different virtual pay-to-park link which worked. On a non-busy day, they might even let you park right in front of the restaurant.

One word Wow!! I was visiting Calgary and randomly stumbled across this place...I thought I'd give it a try bc in my past experience Korean fusion breakfast restaurants have never disappointed me... this was no exception! I was totally blown away by the quality of food and service The star dish in my mind was the chicken and waffles - perfectly cooked chicken on a BUBBLE WAFFLE The potatoes were also amazing.. I can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!! Great work to the team at Brouhaha!! Strong 5 stars

What a great breakfast place!! We had some issues with parking as the app for the city garage wasn't working, so we chanced it and parked there anyway. Service was very friendly, the place was absolutely spotless, the food was delicious. These people know how to run a restaurant!!

Jan 1st, 2025: Brouhaha was so good in July that I had to come back for NYE brunch. I was happy to get a reservation and order a Chicken on the Waffle ($21) and a matcha latte ($5.50). Amazing as always, the flavours were balanced, quality high and price fair. It's a really good crunchy yet fluffy waffle. Chicken was tasty and moist. My matcha latte was not what I expected, especially from an Asian influenced restaurant. I expected genuine matcha or something close, instead I got matcha in a tea bag. It just tasted like slightly matcha flavoured milk. Overall, good experience. Staff were very attentive and friendly.

We rolled up to this place, with many doubts due to the storefront. However it exceeded expectations. Service was great. The brunch was the best that we had on our trip. The plates are exotic and full Of flavor. The presentation was beautiful and colorful. Would highly recommend!!!

Came here for brunch on a Sunday morning and my friends were skeptical from the outside. But on the inside it was a very nice Asian fusion (Korean inspired) restaurant with many patrons. The interior was decorated with Brouhaha characters which I thought was a nice touch. We were lucky enough to get seated right away. The menu options all looked so good that I might have to revisit Calgary just for this restaurant! My friend got the Nasi Gorang and the banana latte off of their special menu. I got the Brou-ssam scramble. The portion size was great for its price and everything was presented so nicely. It tastes as good I loved their salsa and spicy ketchup to pair with the egg. The crispy Brussels sprouts were also something we raved about. The staff were so attentive and we got our food in a quick manner. I totally recommend if you're looking to get a heavy brunch and try a fusion!!

Friends and I stumbled upon this place while on vacation in Calgary. THE BEST brunch I've had ever! The only downside is that it's soo far away from me lol. Wish I could bring it home with me! The parking here is convenient and free! The breakfast platter was so good, presentation wise and taste wise! Plenty of food and more leftover. The fruit plates we got were a refreshing touch. The crossing and steak bites stole the show! They were flavorful and tasty. The pesto sauce complimented the dish very well. Great service and great brunch spot!

Pretty descent brunch. I ordered the Salmon Benny and it was pretty good. Loved the salmon but wished the croissant would be toasted more. My husband really enjoyed his steak bowl. I also ordered a mint chocolate latte and it was delicious! Very unique and something I'm going to recreate at home. They offer free parking for their customers which is a nice incentive especially in the 14th Street area. Service was great and attentive. Another lovely brunch restaurant in Cowtown!

    Plate after smoked salmon Benny

Can't go wrong with a Benny bro. After drinking a pedialyte and choking down some Tylenol we stumbled upon this gem (not really we had to drive through construction and stampede traffic to find it) after looking at some very spicy (some would say shameful) videos from the night before. As per usual, our eyes were set straight to the Benny section of the menu, and boy were we not disappointed. The smoked salmon Benny was delicious and the croissant was an interesting take, wasn't necessarily my fav but Im also am a lunatic who doesn't like croissants. The Canadian Benny was delicious, sporting a juicy cut of whatever pork cut, creamy hollandaise sauce with a beat purée on the side, adding a sweetness I would have never thought would have tasted so good on a Benny. The only qualm we had is that some good old fashioned hash browns would have been preferred to the baby potatoes, but they were still quite nice.

Kind, well-spoken, gentle, efficient, always a smile on her face and she went above and beyond. I had a 12:15 pm reservation. Unfortunately a group was taking much longer than expected. I waited over 30+ mins to be seated and so yes, I could've made a scene, but that wouldn't be me. Phoebe could've just let things be ... you know? Because "it is what it is". But she didn't. Once she seated me and my friend, she offered to take photos for me and of me. SO thoughtful! She also brought me a beautiful ice cream with a sparkling candle in it. SO sweet! She smiled at me every time she walked by almost as a way to make sure I was doing OK and feeling good. She was WAY more attentive than our female server who looked, sounded and acted like she couldn't leave work soon enough. Wasn't going to let her dampen my birthday though... Food tasted good. Presentation was beautiful. The male server who took over was SUPERB. Genuinely happy to "close out" our transaction with him. He was super attentive and willing to make everything go well. Thank you, Phoebe and male server for making my birthday memorable. XO

However, during my most recent visit, the service was disappointing. After we were seated, we waved to a waiter for assistance. He acknowledged us and said he would come back, but instead spent more than 15 minutes talking to other customers without returning to take our order. We felt overlooked and eventually had to ask another waitress for help. I still enjoy the restaurant and its food, but I hope the service can be more attentive in the future.

My family also loved their hashes, chia seed pudding, crepes and pancakes. Even the drinks were delicious.

We were shocked to find another couple sitting at our reserved table--frankly, I hadn't anticipated it would be a shared table for eight in the first place. To make matters worse, we were rushed to order and pay the bill. After that couple left, another pair were seated at our six-person table without any explanation. Our dishes arrived in two separate waves with a 10-minute gap. They also automatically added an 18% tip for parties of more than five people, which I expect at least we should have a private table. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the server, the owner came out and became confrontational and aggressive. He raised his voice, saying I could "tell him what I am not satisfied with." Then he offered a refund, which I immediately declined, and afterward snatched a package of coffee from the counter and offered it as compensation. I refused again--it felt more like an insult than a genuine apology. After we posted our reviews, the owner privately messaged my friend, asking us to remove them and citing the "small Chinese community" as a reason we should support each other. That's incredibly manipulative. Using community guilt to pressure customers into deleting honest feedback is inappropriate and only reinforces our negative experience. I will not be returning.
