Nutella hot chocolate
Michelle C.

Decided to stop to get brunch near the airport before our flight back home. For 2 of us, there was either spots at the bar immediately or a 20-30 min wait for an actual table. As we were on a time crunch, we opted for the bar seating but where they sat us was a little strange - it's like an added extension of the bar right but separated from the actual bar, adjacent to the hostess stand, and next to a bunch of kitchenware and what looked like staff's drink containers/bottles as if they just wanted to make use of as much space as possible. Snickerdoodle chai latte was not too overly sweet but the chai did overpower the snickerdoodle. My brother loved his Nutella hot chocolate. I opted for the hangry bowl with duck fat hash, chorizo, ham, bacon, soft poached eggs, salsa, & chipotle hollandaise. Boy was this heaaaavy - I was full for the rest of the day. The salsa and hollandaise really paired well with the saltiness of the rest of the bowl, made it so that you don't grow tired of it quickly. Bacon was a little bit on the chewier side and I wish the potatoes were a little more crispy but overall it was a delicious dish. My brother got the loco moco breakfast with jasmine rice, beef patty, onions, brown gravy, & sunny side up eggs which was done just right. We were in and out within 30 min and left with very satisfied stomachs.

We come here quite often as a family. It has a good number of brunch / breakfast options including vegetarian options. We had the Bennys , a chai / coffee as well as a side of the mini waffles DON'T forget the white chocolate lavender syrup for the waffles , it's the best !

I love this place. Every time I come here it's super consistent with friendly servers, impeccable quality food and just overall atmosphere is welcoming. Any time I go through Calgary, I must eat here for breakfast and there's nothing new I haven't said before. Good quality is top notch, your coffee never stays empty. They even gave me one to go. There is just one small knock on this visit and that is the AC was cranked a bit too high for first thing in the morning. But now I'm just being picky... love them.

Make sure to call the wait list! This place fills up fast but the service is quick and there are tons of servers around to help out with anything you need. Our drinks got plugged in wrong so we did have to wait a while for the third mimosa. However, our server was apologetic about it and they weren't overly sweet which we enjoyed. The best part of the open faced avocado sandwich had to be the pesto! Eggs were great and cooked to perfection! the seasonal fruit was excellent. The waffles are to die for! I thought they wouldn't be anything special. Luckily the manager gave us a sample as an appetizer and OMG DELICIOUS. It's packed, but you don't feel like you're eat on top of each other, but make sure to call ahead. Wheelchair friendly.

Adobo. Very salty and dry.

I wished that I have read those negative reviews about servers rushing people out from their tables before people can't even finished their food. Didn't get much attention or being asked about how the food was, but we were given full attention after 40 minutes. The servers were exceptionally rude for literally trying to take our unfinished plate out of our hands, and asking us repeatedly if we had finished our food, or if we needed as box to go. When I raised my concern, the server bluntly told us that they had a "seating time limit" and needed the table asap. I wish they had informed us beforehand that there was only a 60-minute time limit for a party of three. Regarding the food. The adobo was too salty and disappointing. The fried eggs were okay though. Paying good money for this and can't even relaxed for a weekend brunch. Avoid at all costs!

While in town, I decided to have breakfast at this place and it was such a great experience. I went during the weekdays so it wasn't too busy and we were seated immediately. The service was great and the servers were very attentive, answering questions I had. Everything looked and sounded great on the menu, but I decided to go with the Cali Poutine, which was delicious! The eggs were perfectly poached and the hash browns had such a nice crisp on the outside and soft insides. I would definitely be back when I'm in town again!

Landed on a Thursday morning after a flight from YYZ and wanted to kick off our Banff trip with a good brunch so we headed over to The Bro'Kin Yolk. We had called from the airport to see about a waitlist and were told it would be maybe 20 min. wait which was perfect since it took us about that long to drive over there. We decided on the Bacon Benny ($18.99), Seoul-Wich ($18.99) and the Hold the Carb ($16.99), and a round of coffees! Service was very friendly and our orders came pretty quickly. Dishes were hot and fresh, especially loved the duck fat hash. This location is on the smaller side so not a lot of seating - expect a wait at peak times and weekends. But worth the wait!

Love this place. Every time we come the food is consistently delicious, amazing ingredients, awesome dishes, the best cured bacon to ever exist. 10/10!

Substandard food. Boring selections. They definitely have a long way to go to get close to places like Reds.

If you show up after 9am, be prepared to wait a bit or make reservations in advance on Toast to be safe. I tried their newer item, birria de res eggs benedict, which is served on cheese bannock, an indigenous Canadian bread, and opted to sub potatoes/salad for garlic fried rice for 3 CAD surcharge, which is well worth it. The beef was tender and the eggs are perfectly runny and the cheese bannock added heartiness and a more unique texture compared to English muffin. It is a combo of Mexican, indigenous Canadian, and Filipino influences all in 1 dish! To pair with the food, I had a pineapple mimosa which was of good portion. Originally, the dish had hair so I caught it and flagged the issue, so they immediately remade the whole dish for me, apologized, and comped my mimosa so despite losing 10 min of my time, I am okay with this remedy, so I rate this experience for the food and service outside of this incident. This is one of the more innovative and delicious brunch spots I have tried, so it is no surprise this place is fairly hyped up

It came with thick cut smoked salmon on top of sushi seasoned rice with poached eggs, seaweed, and spinach on the side. The seaweed pieces tasted old and were hard to chew. The seasoned rice had too much vinegar in it. The poached egg and salmon tasted fine. It also came with miso soup but it tasted strange, not sure why there was oil in it... miso soup usually does not contain oil. My fiance got the Breakfast in Manila and thought it was alright as well. The rice was too salty and the sausage tasted like low quality meat. It seemed like they were short on waitresses and it took a while for them to take our order and for us to get the check. This place is also a plant store and it felt cozy. Overall had a decent experience.

By the time it arrived, everything was stone cold. The cheese was literally hard from melting and then going cold, the potatoes were undercooked and raw, and the entire meal was completely inedible. Spending $35 on food that went straight in the garbage is beyond frustrating, it's infuriating. And the $5 "seasonal fruit bowl" looked like someone's picked-over leftovers. A couple random pieces tossed in a container and sent out like that's acceptable? It's honestly disgusting and shows a complete lack of quality control. At this point, I would've been better off ordering McDonald's for a third of the price, because at least it would've shown up hot and edible. This is careless, overpriced, and completely unacceptable. 1STAR. Complete fail.

The menu had good breakfast options. I opted for the Seoul-wich with an Arnold Palmer to drink. My bro had the Bro's breakfast with a Bro'kin coffee blend to drink. Both dishes looked great. The Seol-wich was really tasty and a good size. My bro said he enjoyed his meal. Our server Rachel was friendly and attentive. All staff were great. I definitely will come back and try other menu items.
