The OEB website said that the location was open. I placed an order through the OEB website (not through Yelp or Skip). The order was for six breakfasts which cost $118. The order was processed. When I went to the restaurant to pickup the order, it was closed but the money was still taken from my account. Trying to phone the restaurant during business hours took five phone calls before I could get a human on the phone. Messages sent through the contact form on the OEB website have still not been answered. After finally getting the email address for the GM, he claimed that the issue was a Skip problem and that the refund would need to be processed through them even though the order confirms that I forwarded to him clearly showed that the order was not placed via Skip. Very nice location, but disappointed with the food. Ordered avocado toast, which may have had avocado about as thick as the butter on regular toast would be. I know avocado is pricey, but this was ridiculous.. Humus was supposed to be added to the avocado, so even more laughable. We were with a large group, so said nothing. read more

Enjoyed breakfast here on a weekend in April with family . Very busy on a Saturday around noon and had to wait about half hour . We ordered salmon eggs Benedict and a burger meal . The eggs Benny was good but I wish it coulda included some sliced fruit on the platter . I had this dish long ago at the Edmonton trail place & it had fruit as well . We were in Calgary on our way to Banff and stopped off at OEB for a weekday brunch. It was fantastic. The service was great and the food was outstanding. The only thing that could have been better would be the iced tea. We are used of black tea but this tea was very lemony. I think that might just be a local thing though. We had the classic breakfast which was delicious and filling. The avocado toast was great and had a little Mediterranean flair. Overall, it was a great choice! read more

OEB Breakfast Co is a great place to go for breakfast or brunch. I had a work meeting here and its the perfect place to chat and eat. Not too loud. Food is great here and one of my favorites are the breakfast bowls. Love the omelet's and eggs benedict too. I have tried many things and it never disappoints. Convenient no-wait on weekdays and free 2-hr retail parking in the burgeoning new U-District, OEB's latest expansion hits the spot! Well-staffed and lively modern decor complete with a diverse and hilariously-written menu. My Get Shorty Rib Poutine was a delicious hefty serving of beef brisket chunks and perfect poached eggs, I doused it in Franks hot sauce and loved it. Sis got the meat-less to say poutine and added bacon because of course. Blueberry chicken bangers (chubby sausages) were quite bland but juicy and a nice side. Never thought I'd get the chance to try OEB considering the 2 hour wait for the one in Vancouver-- come to find it's been in Calgary 10+ years with multiple locations! I'll be back. read more

I would consider going elsewhere for breakfast. We went for breakfast Saturday morning. Upon arrival, they sat us close to the door and it was really cold. We asked to be moved as our kids were getting cold, they told us no even tho the extra room they have was empty. They told us it opens at 9am however they started sitting people there at 830. The wait on a weekend is not worth it, especially during the winter when waiting outside can be challenging. If I am in the area again on weekdays, I will for sure consider eating here. However, I am not going out of my way to eat here on the weekend. We had brunch at OEB in the University District on a holiday Monday, it was very busy and there was a 45-60 minute wait to get a table for 4. Joining the online wait list was simple and straightforward, and we received an update while we did errands at the mall nearby while we waited. We headed to the restaurant a few minutes before our indicated checkin time and were offered a table immediately. The host took us to a high-top table with tall stools, and when I told him that would be difficult for my disabled daughter to access, he pivoted without skipping a beat and graciously found a great table on the banquette for us... really made us feel welcome in the bright and airy dining room. Our server was friendly and efficient, she arrived at the table with coffee and took our drink and food orders promptly. The food (3 styles of breakfast poutine and 1 waffle) was everything we have come to expect from OEB, flawless and consistent. This is a very well run restaurant and we have never had a bad experience at ANY of OEB's locations. They are a model of excellence and consistency. read more

Service was terrible, food was cold on arrival, a fire alarm went off for around 20 minutes while we were there, the server we had was scattered and forgetful and honestly this room could be way better managed with some better oversight! The manager/supervisor was totally absent even after I talked to the server about the poor service he'd provided there was no remedy offered. I am a hospitality industry professional and this was the second time that I have been to this location and will honestly not return to it after this latest fiasco! read more
