He looks to make solutions that are reasonable and affordable for homeowners... he was able to detect that the air-conditioning installation for my home was done poorly and rectified the problem. Nobody else, including these larger corporation could do this. They just stated that it is running and left it. If this continued, there's a high likelihood I could've had mold in the house. I have used this business several times. Wang is extremely knowledgeable about HVAC. He is also very fair and will not try to upsell you. That is why I have confidently referred him to several friends and neighbors, who also had great experiences. He installed a mini-split in my garage workshop about four years ago. It greatly improved the environment in the shop. I can work out there year round, no matter what the crazy Texas weather is doing. The blower motor was not acting right recently, so I called him out. He checked it out and the motor was bad. The motor itself was covered under warranty, so no charge for that. I had to pay for the labor. I keep the unit running most of the time. Over time, things need to be cleaned. The fan blade had become quite dirty over time. Wang and his assistant fully cleaned the whole unit, and replaced the motor. It is now fully clean and running like new. Cooling my whole shop very quickly. I can fully recommend Wang and Breeze Cooling and Heating for any HVAC needs you have. He is knowledgeable, quick to arrive, and always fair with pricing. He also does electrical work. I will continue to call him for my HVAC needs and will continue to refer him to other people. A great small business. Quick, clear, fair, and reasonable price. My ~15 year old home AC unit no longer blew cold air. Found Breeze Cooling and Heating ("breezeamerica.com") on yelp and messaged them. Wang got back to me immediately, and he and a helper were at my house the next morning. They diagnosed the problem as not a popped line or anything else needing a whole new unit, just normal cumulative freon loss from fifteen years of heavy AC use in an Austin home built in 1952 with no insulation in the walls. So they did a full refrigerant recharge with pressure test. It's been a week now and I can really tell the difference. My house cools a lot faster than it ever did before. Entire service took 3hrs and cost $570 total. It's great to find an independent specialist who's just focused on explaining and fixing problems, not taking advantage of rubes like me. We had our compressor die in our 14 year old unit and I paid extra to have Wang come out to Bastrop after speaking with him on the phone and I am so glad I did. Let me know about diagnostic fee, service fee and additional fee for driving/ location of my house from his starting point. After diagnostic, went through all other costs (parts, labor, etc). I had purchased universal parts myself in advance of the visit, but opted for his manufacturer OEM parts as he can honor the warranty up to 6 months and he charged almost 50% less for his parts. Total was just around what we figured it would be. Gave recommendations of other things he noticed, but stressed they weren't required. In and out in about 30-45 min. Honest and straightforward. The former cooling company said my 17 year old AC system was completely failing and needed to be replaced ASAP. BCH told me that the system was okay and just needed some coolant. They let me watch as they gradually 3lb of coolant to add exactly the amount we needed and no more -- which is kind because coolant is really expensive. Unfortunately, this was a new unit, and the company that installed it was closed on the weekend. After scouring Yelp for reasonable repair choices, I elected to give Breeze A/C a try. I can't say enough great things about Xiaoyu and Breeze. He's friendly, organized, very skilled at his craft, and does what he says he will do. I had a very unique problem that threw other HVAC folks for a loop. Xiaoyu is an incredible problem solver and found a creative solution. My problem was I inherited a house with a weird and large commercial combination unit. It had a very badly custom created connection into the house that included wood and rotted and allowed rodents in. Terrible situation. It left a very tight space to make any fixes, but Breeze was able to tear down the old connection and rebuild a brand new one as a fully metal shroud, perfectly adhered to the unit, a custom built fiberglass plenum, and seal everything top to bottom! This took a lot of work, creativity to solve the problem, and craft to do metal fabrication and custom build everything to size.
