I purchased a watch as a gift a couple of years ago but felt compelled to leave a review at this point. Unfortunately the first time it was opened the minute hand detached. I was able to send the watch back for repair and it came back three weeks later.
A few months later, the faux leather wristband began peeling and was quite unattractive. It took a month for me to get a response and the team apologized and let me know they had transitioned to genuine leather to avoid this issue, which I suppose was persistent. They didn't have the brown leather which was what I originally purchased, so had to send black.
Recently, the watch's 5 o'clock hour marker fell off so I reached out to the Breda team again. While they have always been responsive, the wait time for repairs has been inconceivable for a product with a warranty. I reached out about this issue Dec. 18 and the repaired watchface has just been prepared for shipping today (so, it has taken over 2 months). I also had to pay for the shipping.
The watch face looks great-- I can't deny that, but we've since purchased a new wristband from an outside company. I wouldn't recommend the company, unfortunately. read more
