What a lovely place to meet up with friends, study or work or simply pause during the day! I met a friend at 3:30 in the afternoon and the parking lot was almost full - fortunately, they have lots of seating! Our lattes were really good but what I really liked were the help yourself pastry cases. Simply pick up a tray, select what you'd like, and take it up to the counter to pay. Can't wait to go back!

Definitely a top spot to grab a sweet treat when I'm in Cary! I'm a fan of both their boba & pastries. This time, we got the Boba Brown Sugar Matcha Latte (could definitely taste the matcha, which was great) & the Tiramisu Paradise (which was my favorite). Also tried a walnut pistachio bread (the best pastry I've had in a long time!), ube bun (loved how strong the ube flavor was), and an Oreo bun. The ambiance is really nice: lots of tables, actually seems like a good place to study. Really big parking lot. Service is fast & very nice: I belatedly realized that I'd said the wrong thing for my sister's drink order, and they were happy to add matcha to a drink that was already made, which was so appreciated! 10/10 would recommend!

I had a sweet tooth and stopped in on a Saturday for some items to go. It was busy, as usual. I opted for a slice of the Black Forest cake and the ube and red bean buns. My favorite of the pick was the ube bun-so delicious with the perfect amount of sweetness. The Black Forest cake was delicate and delicious, but I would have loved a stronger chocolate flavor. I'd definitely get the ube bun again.

I stopped by Brecotea with a few friends on a Saturday night when we were craving something sweet after dinner. I was surprised by how spacious it was--tons of seating, and it seems like a great place to hang out or even get some work done during the day. Since we showed up later in the evening, a lot of the pastries were already gone, so we didn't get to see the full variety. I grabbed a slice of the mango cake, and it was really good--super light and not overly sweet. I'll definitely be back, but next time I'll try to come earlier to check out more of their selection!

Always solid pastries and boba here! The pastries/breads are self-serve using provided tongs and trays and you pay at the counter where you can also order drinks. We got the taro bun and pork floss bun. The bread on both was super fluffy. The pork floss bun had a perfect balance of salty and sweet. The taro filling was delicious as well. I also got the jasmine milk tea at 50% sweetness with boba which was super fragrant and the tea flavor was amazing. The boba were soft and chewy and the overall sweetness ended up being perfect. Staff were friendly and our drinks were prepared quickly. There was plenty of indoor seating and it looked like a nice place to study/work as well.

The Oreo buns caught my eye, but I beat temptation! LOL

I stopped in on a Thursday evening before the holiday. The place had plenty of patrons and it didn't take me long to learn why. First, the friendly staff greeted me with a warm welcome as soon as I walked through the entrance -- that kind of genuine charm is so underrated these days. There were lots of tea options and many unique bakery offerings, such as hot dog danishes, Oreo buns, a curry baked good, a beautiful purple-hued blueberry cake -- just to name a few. Patrons were filling their bamboo-style trays with baked goods from the self-serve glass case. Although the blueberry cake, strawberry cup, and Oreo bun were calling my name, I didn't indulge in baked goods -- maybe next time. I ordered a chai tea with a "spot of milk." The ambience was nice both inside and out, so I sat for a while indoors then moved outdoors to the bistro tables to finish my beverage. I will definitely come back -- seems like a fun environment to make hum-drum routine work tasks less drudgery. Also a nice place to catch up with a friend over coffee!

Looks like one of the popular go-to's of any age bracket. They have a huge selection of pastries, cakes and drinks. It reminds me of another popular French cafe but this location has more tables and can accommodate larger groups. There were 10 of us and we were able to enjoy al fresco! Anyway, I loveee pastries and while I don't think they offer the best ones, their Paradise drinks make up for it! I had two of the same item in one sitting plus coffee! Although the same drink, somehow tasted different, definitely done by two different people with one being generous and all-in the standard ingredients. Check out their front door for deals on some days. Maybe hard to find parking on rush hours so prepare to wait. Went there just before dinnertime.

Ambiance and vibes are cute. Pork Floss and Scallion bun was very good but the Ube Bun and Crab Seaweed bun didn't do it for me. Can't say the croissant was stellar either. Buttt prices are super fair.

I came here for the first time a few days ago and I ordered a chicken sandwich while my siblings got boba tea. The chicken sandwich was amazing, my only issue with it was that I asked for it to be toasted and the chicken was still very cold after it was heated up. I wish it was heated a little bit longer. I tried both the boba teas and they were both pretty good. Price is sorta up there for the drinks but reasonable for the food. I came around 3:30pm and a good amount of food was already out so I'd recommend coming earlier. The food came out quickly and I enjoyed the ambiance of the dining area. I'll definitely be back!

Went here to get coffee after the kids eat ice cream from Goodberry's. It's a nice clean place to stop over and get pastries! They offer both savory pastries and majority sweets. I particularly love a bread that is not sweet so this is not my taste. But love their Strawberry cake cups!!! They offer a variety of drinks from coffee to bobas. The people are friendly but they're pretty busy when we were there. The pastries look pretty. Not overly sweet so it fits my taste :) This reminds me of our Asian bakery but this one is spacious and a lot of seating.

Went to try this place because I was really looking forward for their milk tea, but when we got there they didn't have any because of water issues. So we went with the pastries instead and honestly, they didn't disappoint. The hotdog danish was tasty and the Oreo stick was such a fun addition. The only downside was the Ube bun- the yam filling was pretty dry. Other than that, there were plenty of seats & nice variety of food to pick from. I'd definitely give it another shot, hopefully next time they'll have the milk tea.

The bread was good, it has a very Taiwanese sort of style. Everything has a bit more gluten than Korean ones. The drinks were good as well, and the staff were nice. The place has plenty of seating inside and should be a pretty good date place. I'd comeback again if I'm in the area.

We discovered Brecotea just weeks after we discovered Shanghai Alley, which was super close to it. The first time we entered Brecotea, we were astonished to see its huge space: The ordering counter is directly in front of the front door, and right across, close to the door is its vast menu, so we had to turn around to view what we could order, and we were surprised to see the diverse types of drinks that Brecotea could serve. On the left is a large space of cafe tables, and at the center between that and the order pickup area is the large glass case filled with a variety of pastries: pork buns, croissants, danishes, cheese bread, ube bread, orea stick, mango stick, egg tart & other high-gluten baked goods. We only tried a few in our first visit and we ended up not finishing a couple of them. We just ignored this section in our future visits but might give some of the ones we haven't tried a chance. As for the milktea & other beverage options: it may be difficult for a newcomer to decide what to get as they offer around 60+ different kinds of drinks under various lines: coffee, boba milktea, fruit tea, sparkling tea, yogurt tea, and what seems to be their premium line of teas. Paradise Teas (more loaded milkteas with brulee, whip cream, lotus cookie (tasted like graham), milk jelly & other toppings depending on the kind of Paradise Tea you order. My girl enjoyed their coffee drinks, which come in smaller sizes compared to milkteas. They have simple cold and hot coffee choices like Iced Latte, Cappuchino, Americano, Espresso as well as the more unique blend: Brown Sugar Boba Coffee. My girl enjoyed Breco's House Latte - just mildly sweet & well-brewed. As for the milkteas, I tried 3 Paradise Teas in our multiple visits: Tiramisu, Taro & Brown Sugar. These extra special teas remind me of Halo Halo (Filipino dessert mixing a bunch of ingredients with milk and ice cream). The brulee, lotus cookie, cake shake & other toppings are so loaded in just 1 glass with the ice, making the milktea itself seem scarce by the time I finished them, leaving me dissatisfied despite the diverse amount of toppings. More is not always more but perhaps a slightly bigger size for their Paradise Teas would accomodate the various flavors of toppings more. That would make this special line of teas more satisfying. I enjoyed their simpler mango yogurt milktea, which is a yummy blend of creamy yogurt, milktea & mango. Ordered that twice already but might try something else next time. We were not impressed with Breco's Brown Sugar milkteas - it's just not on the same level as Feng Cha's as we could barely taste the brown sugar flavor. I also tried Taro Matcha latte but neither the matcha nor the taro flavors stood out. Breco also offers cakes, milkshakes, ice cream & our ultimate dessert favorite: Caramel Custard, which is a small flan-like cup of rich & sweet custard that goes well with coffee or tea. However, its $6 price is such a pain for a small cup of sweet heaven. We also tried a couple of their small cake slices for about $5 each. Coffee cake was rich but slice was so small. We'd rather get a Caramel Custard for $1 more. Customer service is medium-paced, which is understandable given the huge amount of customers Breco usually gets. But at 1 time, when I ordered 1 follow-up Caramel Custard on the app, I can see that my order was ready but the barristas ignored me just standing & waiting for about 10 minutes before they asked me what I needed. Brecotea's app is 90% reliable: it's easy to order with photos of items on the app & reward points to motivate customers to buy more. However, you'll need to spend $100 or more before you can get a free reward. I said 90% cuz the order update on app is always delayed. I had to go to pickup counter to see if my order is ready & I never see if order is completed on the app on the time it's actually ready. Despite its flaws, Brecotea is not your typical milktea spot; it's a higher-class hybrid of coffee, tea & bakery. The main dining area can be noisy when it's crowded - and it's always crowded, but there's a more secluded, quiter section better for reading or doing laptop work. We were surprised to see books on shelves but the books are old & boring. However, I enjoy this smaller space in this cafe. Their bathrooms are also clean & classy, so overall, Breco's ambiance is top-notch. Breco also has a spacious outdoor area. The takeout bag & overall packaging are so neat & nice. Brecotea's vast amount of offerings, huge space & mostly reliable app will give customers many reasons to return multiple times. It's not the overall quality of individual beverages that give spark to this cafe but it's the combination of it, especially with that Caramel Custard. The Jack of All Trades may be a Master of None, but his trades are definitely not worth jack.

Being so used to many boba options back in CA, it kind of makes it feel weird to struggle to find a boba place nearby. The location is pretty convenient for college kids or adults to chill with friends. Lots of tables and even a shelf with some board games you could play if you had an hour or two to pass in the area. I can't remember the name of the drink, but I remember it having butterfly pea and lemon... or yuzu. Drink is aesthetically pleasing, but I'm not sure if I tasted what the drink mentioned. Still, nice attempt at being trendy with the boba menu. Maybe they're known for their milk teas here? It was quite busy when we can on a Saturday evening before closing. :) Drinks took around 10 ish minutes to make, but staff were quick to take orders and make drinks. If I remember correctly, there were two people working that day-- least in the front!

The puff pastry is a large portion, and heavier, so you can definitely share. The mochi donut is nice and light, so these are better to get more than one flavor to try.

We ordered something we've never ordered in a Kung Fu Tea before: Brown Sugar milktea. This particular Kung Fu Tea spot is in a fantastic location, next to our favorite ramen spot, Miso Ramen Bar. My girl ordered 1 we'd share while we finish our meal. Feng Cha in Morrisville was about to close so Kung Fu was the only milktea place we can get one by 9 PM. The texture of the boba is perfect, and the amount is well-balanced for a $6+ milktea. My first sip of the milktea itself didn't last a great impression, however. While I can smell the fragrant smell of freshly-brewed tea, I could barely taste the brown sugar flavor and the milktea doesn't taste as creamy as Feng Cha's or Milklab's. Even Tiger Sugar near H-Mart served better quality brown sugar milktea but it's slightly better than Breco Tea's disappointing Brown Sugar milktea. In other words: This milktea is average compared to other Brown Sugar milkteas we've tried. My girl loves its aroma and she says it's not bad. Customer service is fast: Barrista was able to serve our drink in less than 5 minutes. Ambiance is fine, place looked clean. Overall, I see Kung Fu Tea Cary as the McDonald's of the milktea industry - franchise looks as strong as Quickly's. and it'll be enjoyable to a casual milktea customer. But why settle for average when there are other milktea spots that can offer higher quality blends for about the same price?
