This has to be one of my favorite spots for catching up while grabbing boba, bread, or desserts. They have a huge selection of fresh baked breads and everything looks good. I have yet to be disappointed by one of their great drinks. We got the Mango Milk Cap Tea and Dirty Matcha Tea. Both were good and made well. I love the milk cap on my drinks. For sweets we got, Strawberry Mille Feuille Cake, Mango Yogurt Croissant and Strawberry Creme Danish read more

One of the top places I've been to for Asian pastries and buns. So happy to have finally tried Brecotea because I didn't know a place like this would exist in Raleigh! The butter pork straw bun was to DIE FOR - crispy, soft, perfect butter cream with the pork - a classic but elevated. Can't wait to go back! read more

The ambience is very nice, plenty of seating area, and well decorated. The cashier was very nice too,. but here's the bad part, the food! Very disappointed! Taste, bland, not authentic. Ube doesn't taste like ube, egg tart barely has filling in it. Very overpriced, tasteless breads. The taro boba tea was powdery & disgusting. read more

Great options, deliciously crafted pastries outside the norm. Chicken curry bun and oreo sticks are my favorite.

Super loved this place. Cute and quite and tea is yummm. I had a good time studying and completing my work. read more

Brecotea - Chocolate Mille Crepe Cakes and Purple Potato Milj - Bubble Tea Near Me - Cary, North Carolina

Once this restaurant figures out a way to make the drinks quicker, I believe their rating will improve. I've been here four times and waited 15+ minutes for drinks. The mixed fresh fruit tea is my fav. Know that at Asian bakery the bakery items typically aren't as sweet as American versions. read more

I went to Dallas a few weeks ago and was introduced to Asian desserts there - consequently, I now crave ube flavored desserts on a regular basis. Brecotea is the only restaurant in the triangle (that I'm aware of) that has this wide of an Asian dessert selection, and the desserts are so delicious! I wasn't quite as impressed with their boba milk tea (which is why I only gave four stars), but I still frequent and recommend Brecotea anyway for the dessert selection and atmosphere. read more

The shop is beautiful while the pastries tastes great. I love how clean the place is and can see that they are following the COVID-19 safety procedures. It is a very spacious place so there is plenty of room if you like to sit far from others. The pastries was wonderful since they weren't not overly sweet. There is plenty of options from sweet to savory. You can get a nice mix in your orders. They also sell crepe like cake and ice cream as well as many drink options to drink from.(picture included) Staffs were welcoming and were helpful when I wanted to know what was in the pastries. They were wearing gloves while taking out pastries and placing it on the platter for me even while using tongs. The pricing is very fair. I had gotten the durian pastries which is a bit pricer (but fair) than the others but I can't ask for more since it is rare to find. The other pastries price varies but it is affordable considering its size. It was around $2-6. The bubble tea great. I got the oolong which had a nice strong tea flavor while the original bobas were soft and chewy. Overall, couldn't be happier with the experience. They do offer a loyal points which you can earn by using your phone number. read more

We visited this place today. 2 things: The man fixing the drinks didn't have a mask on while other staff did. I would have expected people handling food/drinks these days (Covid world) wearing some facial masks during their shift. He also placed the freshly baked pastries into the self served area without a mask on. I got one chocolate bun and one pineapple durian bun for the family to try. I asked the staff if the chocolate bun has any nuts, she confirmed no and said it was baked and processed in a non-nut free environment. Sure enough, my son has an allergic reaction after taking a small bite. He told me his tongue feels weird and threw up a bite. We left and went down to Walgreens to get him some Benadryl as he started to develop some hives on his face, I had my epipen ready just in case. He threw up more in the car on our way home. While I understand the baking and making process in the back is a non-nut free environment, it would be good to have signs in the self served area to clearly indicate which pastry/bun has nuts vs no nuts. Also it would be good to separate them as we saw some almond pastries sitting next to some plain looking buns, it could prevent cross contamination. I would love to come back if they make improvement. read more

Savory treats and great Boba tea's, this is a staple for us! With a wide variety of treats and even cakes, we love bringing our out of town friends. The employees are always helpful and smiling. read more

I waited so long for my pick up order. I was sorry to give them a good tip online. I was there a long time, they just kept ignoring me.

This is what I imagine heaven to be like. Super cute, all white, filled with delicious baked goods and boba. Another win for Yelp! I found this place and added to my to do list whenever I visit Raleigh. My daughter asked if we could go to Hmart to get some things. Of course I said yes so we could visit this place. I'm so glad we did!!! When you enter there are lots of signs telling you where to stand, where the self service baked goods are, and where to order. This is nice for newbies like us! There is a HUGE menu sign right by the door, think drive thru size, you can ponder what to order what you want while you wait in line. There was always a line! Definitely a popular place! We went straight to the baked goods, so you grab a huge white tray and a little set of tongs and pick out what you want. They have signs of what everything is and how much. Several we didn't know but grabbed anyways bc everything looked so amazing! It was sooo hard not to just grab one of them all. After we made our decisions we went and waited in line. It was a little tiring holding the tray but nothing I would be upset about. I also grabbed a Strawberry sparkling tea, which if I ordered again I would ask for less sugar. They say to try it their way first before making alternatives. I was told bc they were so busy it would be awhile so we sat down and got busy on our treats. By the time I finished my first treat my drink was ready. We saved the rest of our treats for later. I was worried how they would be the next day. They were still amazing! My daughter and I had one for breakfast and they were still fantastic!! I'm so sad that we don't have a place like this in Charlotte but i'm also okay with that bc I would be huge!! Definitely recommend if you are ever in the Carey area!! read more

This is the sort of place that you would find inside the airport in Hong-Kong . It is super glossy-almost Swedish in essence and very spacious. You walk in and go to a case and get whatever delectable item you choose (there's even a purple bread thing) and then you pay at the cashier. You can order coffees and all kinds of slurry matter. I got a cream filled danish-like thing and it was good, but did not taste local or homemade. I didn't see any lunch items or sit down meal options but the place is glossy and looks good for sitting down and pondering about the throngs of new residents in our beautifully, crowded state. read more

The pastries are out of this world and the boba is great too. I've been multiple times and always been pleased with the food, service, and atmosphere. Definitely recommend giving it a try! read more

The low stars are for the pick up process. I ordered online and the confirmation number was the last four of my cell but the number they used for part of my order was different. Well over the 20 minute estimate I ask about the status of my order and I received only one of my four drinks. They find my other three drinks at the pick up counter for those that ordered in the store that I watched multiple people touch to see if it was their drink. I refused to take those beverages due to COVID. It was disappointing because I finally had the opportunity to try this place but will return when I feel comfortable going through that again. read more

Everything is just fancy and the delicious pastry so good , a must to go place. Thanks

This place is honestly so aesthetic. And I'm a sucker for those. Like the whole place is an Instagram post in itself. The bread was beautiful and the drink were more than beautiful. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. There was a little bit of a wait but trust me it's worth it read more

The bread very bodacious and the tea is out of this world. Also the pastries are not too sugary in my opinion compared to other sweets so you can eat a lot of it without getting overwhelmed. The crepe cakes are very good 100% recommend read more

Brecotea - Oreo Roll - Bubble Tea Near Me - Cary, North Carolina

Great decor and interior space. I ordered coffee crush and unfortunately it tasted pretty much just like milk.

Not happy with my drinks! It took a very long time, the lady (the owner? manager?) who was getting the boba was washing dishes and took her sweet time to bring the cooked boba over to other workers who was making the drinks. I added extra side (pudding), I was given so little pudding that was almost non existence. read more

The selections for bread are amazing and everything is made fresh! The variety, presentation, and taste are all so impressive, and the space inside is great for studying or hanging out as well. This is probably one of my new favorite places EVER! read more

The cakes were mediocre. The crepes of the mille crepes were too thick and the flavors are bland. The flavors of the potted plant cupcake were not well mixed together. The pastries were a bit better than the cakes. I expected better because of the price but I was disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this bakery and I don't think it's worthwhile to drive for 20min+ just to visit this store. If you're just passing by may be it's ok to try, but prepared to be disappointed read more

I've only gotten the bubble tea here but the pastries look amazing. Their price for bubble tea is lower than Milk Lab and tastes just as good. read more

Went on a Sunday afternoon and they were out of all the baked items except for 8 sad pieces. HOW on earth are you out of baked goods on a weekend!??? I have never been to any Asian bakeries where they were slightly out of anything. The employees looked like they hated their jobs and offer no greetings or smiles. The line was very unorganized. I left empty handed and disappointed. The part where the bakery table was 95% empty shocked me....especially on a weekend. Definitely not a great impression. read more

The pastries and buns are delicious! Don't order the ice cream, it's an absurdly small amount for 3 dollars.

Oh my goodness!!! I tried the Tiramisu Paradise drink and it was the best drink I've ever had!!! I believe it included both tapioca bubbles and jellies and the combination of both was delicious!! I can't recommend this drink enough, it does cost around $7 but you won't regret it! I have had other drinks like the oolong bubble milk tea, the Yuen yeung milk tea, the brûlée Milk tea, and the Oreo as well. Go try them immediately! read more

Would probably give this place 3 stars, but bumping to 4 due to COVID. Got takeout pastries from this place and bubble tea. The bubble tea was fine, but the pastries tasted very stale even though we came around the time they had opened in the morning. The strawberry eclair / puff tasted artifically sweet (thinking a Smucker's Strawberry Ice Cream Drizzle type sweet). The bread on some of the others I tried such as the curry bun tasted a bit dry / not super fresh. The bubble tea though was pretty good. Would probably come back for the tea, but not certain about the bakery items. The staff also seemed fairly new, so I'm not sure if it was just an off day. read more

I am so glad I found this place! I have loved everything I have tried. The staff are friendly and helpful, the bread is made fresh daily, and the drinks use real fruit! I love the variety of bread there are asian, European, and American inspired breads. My favorite so far is the the pork floss sponge cake and the mixed fresh fruit tea. Their dessert pastries like their crepe cakes and puff are also delicious! They have a very beautiful, spacious, and socially distant seating area. They have outdoor seating, a sunroom, and the regular inside dinning. I feel very safe coming here during this time. All the employees wear masks and gloves while handling food and drinks with care. This is one of my favorite places in Cary! I visit a few days a week. I would highly recommend it. read more
