Was headed to the front porch in Dunnellon decided to turn around then go to the breakfast station what a mistake. After arriving I waited 5 minutes up front for them to get a table bussed, they were busy which was good after I got sat I ordered water, water came quickly then I waited to get my order taken about 8 minutes go by another table sits in front of me server takes their beverage order gets their beverage then takes their order. I say to myself no big deal she'll just come to me next even though I was sat before that table but no she puts their order in goes and gets a coffee pot. Proceeds to coffee all the tables in the front of the restaurant so now my order still has not been taken now I did order a water, at the table in front of me ordered orange juice and a coffee maybe it was the water thing I don't know but my order still has not been taken. I know they were busy like I said which is great but the same server who sat me was the same server who took the order out of order so I decided to get up and go to the front porch so on my way out the server who sat me says "have a great day" well not even eaten or my order even taken she says have a great day now I can't believe that she didn't recognize me as I was leaving the restaurant as I am 6. 6 285 pounds. But she didn't seem to have a care in the world that I was leaving so off to the front porch ordered my breakfast at the front porch was in and out in 20 minutes won't be headed back to the breakfast station makes me kinda sad I've been in the food industry for 30 plus years and turn and burn mentality of restaurants is just sad the restaurant has I would say around 20 tables give are take and I only seen 2 servers working the dining room I understand the challenges of running an operation but seems to me the non caring attitude would be the standard. the train theme is a cute set up and the quality of the food is decent. i prefer places who give a bigger portion of food but i guess since this place is very affordable you get what you pay for. i'm a big corned beef hash fan so when i ordered it i expected a decent portion but they really just give you a small circle of it with a handful of potato's and corn bread or a biscuit (which i find to be a bit dry). the place is also fairly small so it gets super crowded, so i find myself turning away and driving to a further destination if it looks like a long wait. i don't mind waiting long, i've done it before but only for places where i've fallen in love with their food and atmosphere and unfortunately i don't find myself doing that for breakfast station. i usually go here when my friend and i meet up (she doesn't like driving far for places). read more

Good food! The service was good too. Everyone was nice and helpful. The pricing wasn't bad, not to expensive but not cheap either. Restaurant is not big so it's not over crowded and not noisy inside the restaurant. We have never been to a breakfast station. We were just traveling down Hwy 19 and day the big sign si stopped. From the reviews, I had expected all home made and fresh, but found the Gravy to be just adequate and potentially canned. I am a good judge, since I'm allergic to preservatives and instantly was ill after eating here. The biscuits were kind of hard/stale, so not what I would give 4-5 stars, but could have been an off day? I went on a Saturday morning, so peak time and expected top performance. The portions are good, the food is not bad. If you are going on a weekend, it stays very crowded, so get ready to wait to be seated for up to 30 minutes. Was SO excited to try this place. to many things went wrong. Won't be back. Asking to substitute toast instead of meat and pay the exact same price (they're making money...meat is more $ then bread) is apparently to much to ask for. Wanted a nice hearty breakfast but felt so embarrassed with how the waitress acted that I ended up getting 1 egg and toast. This is a basic but good breakfast and lunch place. The servers are very friendly and helpful. The food was good too. My son's kids pancake breakfast was in the shape of a bear head with scrambled egg hair. It was so cute and delicious too. We also had omelets, French toast, and country fried steak. Went to the Breakfast station in Leesburg, Sunday Feb 5, with friends that have been there several times for breakfast and lunch. Had a great breakfast. The server was friendly and came by several times asking if every thing was ok and had 2 pots of coffee in hand. hey were so busy people were standing outside waiting. The owner came by and asked if all was well. I would not go back to IHOP,Perkins,Cracker barrell etc. Breakfast Station serves REAL POTATOE Home fries with flavor. We will be BACK. read more

I have only been here a couple of times but the food was fantastic each time. The service is also Beyond excellent. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the size of the restaurant. I missed breakfast, so i stopped in here for a late one. Waitresses were friendly and fast. Food came out fast and that's the best thing i can say, other than i would have enjoyed it a lot more if the food hadn't been served at room temperature. Everything except the eggs had obviously been prepped WAY before and sat on the counter waiting for a trip to the garbage can. Until i saved it from that fate. I thought they would've done better. Great food at good prices. The coffee is anyways fresh and the wait staff is efficient and really nice (thanks Bobby!). The breakfast club super special is fantastic with plenty of leftovers to take home. The stuffed French toast is really good as well. This restaurant is not just for breakfast. Their soups and sandwiches are good as well. Bring cash because they don't take cards (though there is a Publix ATM right next door). I recommend trying this place out. Use to love this place, but no more. The hash browns Sat. were burned, loaded with small pieces of black charred something, guessing off the grill and dripping in grease, which should of had a dip stick come with it. Certainly uneatable. How they were allow to be served is unbelievable. The music is so loud and will not lower upon my request. At least it was Country. Then at lunch another day, the music playing was some acid rock crap so loud, you wanted to scream and left with a headache. Asked for very crisp bacon on the BLT and got rubber bacon. Wow... Cleanest, friendliest, quickest restaurant in spring hill. Food was delicious.

The first clue that the food must be good is the waiting crowd outside the restaurant. The wait was about 10 minutes and there are restful benches on which to wait. Upon being seated, a very pleasant server was at the table offering coffee. We both ordered two eggs, sausage links, home fries and rye toast. The eggs over-easy medium, were perfect as was the rest of the meal. The place is friendly and the greeter sets a cordial tone. Perfect breakfast spot and we will return. This was the first time I was disappointed in my meal at this restaurant. The "special" was a Burgundy Turkey Sandwich which was supposed to be sliced turkey, spinach and a "lite burgundy vinagrette" on a roll. Before I ordered it I confirmed with our waitress that it was fresh spinach not cooked. She assured me it was. Imagine my surprise when my sandwich arrived with two pieces of lettuce and a slice of tomato on it! When I mentioned how the dressing tasted like plain vinegar I was told that's what they mean by "lite"; it's mostly vinegar (what happened to the burgundy?) It unfortunately made the turkey taste as if it had gone bad and should have been disposed of. At checkout my husband mentioned all this to the manager and was told I should have said something and they would have fixed it. I thought I did! The waitress went to the kitchen and told the cook that he's supposed to put spinach on the sandwich, not lettuce. That's how it got fixed! I think I'll stick to breakfast here - they know how to do that read more
