The food was excellent I ordered steak with onions and mushrooms Yummmy Jeff my server did not let my drink go empty and was attentive to me. We chit chatted while waiting for my order. The manager Brittany sat at the table and ensured everything was better than expected. Great job to all read more

1 Star We recently bought a house in the area, and during our first week here, we tried this Denny's location because it's the closest breakfast spot to our home. Unfortunately, our first experience was extremely disappointing. The morning service was rude, and we left feeling like our business wasn't appreciated. We decided to give the restaurant another chance several months later, thinking maybe it was simply a bad day. Unfortunately, our second experience was even more frustrating. We stopped in for takeout, and the same morning employee who waited on us during our first visit was there again. She was rude, extremely slow, and seemed to prioritize customers she believed were going to leave a tip. We were picking up food to go, and the way we were treated made us feel as though our order--and our business--didn't matter. We live nearby and would have loved to have a reliable local breakfast spot, but after two disappointing experiences, we will not be returning to this Denny's. Customer service should not depend on whether an employee thinks they're going to receive a tip. Very disappointing, especially for a location that could have had repeat local customers. read more

After an early medical visit we stopped in for breakfast. Hubby had the original slammer with bacon, and I ordered the 55-plus cheese omelette. Both dishes came perfectly cooked quickly, and we enjoyed the breakfast. Service was excellent. It was a long time in between visits, and we will be back. read more

Beware of Denny's Rewards program. It appears to be a bait and switch! I got a text message from Denny's this week stating that I had a 25% off the entire bill this weekend only. So this morning, I took my wife and her sister to Denny's for breakfast. The bill total was about $36. When I went to checkout, I was told the promotion was only for online orders, not eat-in. Of course, that was NOT mentioned anywhere in the text message. So guess I'll only be using my AARP card at Denny's, if or when I return. read more

First of all, we had to wait an hour for our food and 10 minutes to be seated. Even after that the food was mediocre at best. And the restrooms were quite small and didn't have enough space for than three people at a time. read more

I would like to commend you on the remarkable transformation that has taken place at this Denny's location in Springhill FL. The store has undergone a significant change. I am unsure if this is attributed to new management, but I wanted to acknowledge the exceptional work being done. The staff appears to be much happier, and the overall atmosphere is impressive. Over the past two weeks, I have witnessed a notable difference in the store. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves, and it is evident that the team is working well together. If this is indeed the result of new management, it is truly commendable. Additionally, it appears that underperforming employees are no longer with the company, which has likely contributed to the positive change. read more

The food was cold. Eggs were runny. Took over an hour to receive food. Do not recommend to anyone. read more

I still love Denny's even though they don't have the $5.99 grand slam!! I being the bargain hunter got the scrambled eggs and cheese and two pieces of bacon and two sausage links and two delicious buttermilk pancakes for $7.99 and that includes 15% discount with AARP. Friendly waitresses. Food out super fast!! Still Americas favorite Diner!!! read more

One waitress, 10 tables. Could not get help with the app to change my password for over 20 minutes. When I first pulled up, there were only three cars in the parking lot. Now I know why. Would never ever ever go there again. I was so upset that I had to take my food to go, as I could not sit there another second. read more

Food was very good. Restaurant very clean. Bathroom had seat protectors. $6.99 value breakfast very worthwhile.

I absolutely love their choconana pancakes! The service was a bit slow, but the food was hot and good. Bonus is 15% AARP discount. read more

What a terrible experience. We wanted to have a quick lunch at 1:30 in the afternoon and stopped at Denny's. It took over 20 min just to take our order. Thankfully, someone else brought us some water. We ordered an app that never came. The food came out only partially, with my omelet missing the muffin and the fruit. Our server, Bianca, was incredibly rude and seemed miffed that I now asked her to no longer bring the appetizer (after our meal was partially served). Then she gave the bill with extra items that we did not get. Terrible service. Will never go back to this restaurant. read more

The food is pretty good here but we question their food safety. My husband and I both found trash in our ice His drink had an ice cube that appeared to be perhaps a piece of styrofoam frozen inside an i e cube. My drink had a tiny plastic lid floating under the ice. I told the waitress that their ice is dirty and she couldn't care less. They also leave all your dirty dishes piled in front of you as they throw the bill on the table. Staff needs training in all things restaurant hospitality. read more

Service is always good. Their focus is mostly breakfast foods and I don't like breakfast foods but my husband does and likes breakfast for dinner occasionally. They do have a few main meal entrees and burgers for those people who don't want eggs, or pancakes etc. Food is average homestyle not gourmet but very good for the price and portions are large. The ambiance is diner and clean and neat. A good place to go when you just want a simple meal. read more

5 STARS! It has been a very long time since our family received GREAT service. I mean GREAT!!!! I believe the gentleman's name was Gary (found on receipt), he waited on us and made this dining experience a fabulous one. He engaged with our son who normally keeps to himself. It felt like a family diner! The lady who brought food out was very nice and joyful personality. The food, it was full of flavor! My husband and I kept taking from each others plates. We ordered the sizzling skillet and burger (with egg and hash on it). Normal time waiting for food, not delayed at all. I somehow left my wallet in the booth and Gary ran it outside to us, oh my goodness was I thankful! Best dining experience we have had in a long time! Thank you read more

Went for breakfast this morning. The long and short of it is...go somewhere else. Food was served, when it finally came, not even quite warm. Food items missing. Was promised those items would be on the table right away...had to actually get up and find our "server " to ask about our food. A blank stare and "oh yeah". I could go on with this but you get the idea. Oh by the way, good luck in getting your check. But, that is another story. read more

Listen this is Denny's if you know you know but this has got to be the best Denny's I have been to. It's clean and Big Papa/Larry has got the best personality. He really makes this place amazing. We have come every Tuesday with our kids for the last couple of weeks and it seriously has been so nice. They understand kids and they have treated us so nicely. The food has been perfect. I really can't believe I am writing this about Denny's but this location has truely blown my mind. Keep it up! 5 stars from this tired mama! read more

Manager and cook should both be fired. Food was wrong rather then recook they used the wrong food to try to make the food correct. Cook yelling and cursing in the kitchen so loud everyone in the restaurant can hear. Manager refused to make the food correctly. Then took his sweet time giving a refund. read more

Absolutely loved it, walked in with my hot 19 year old wife and was served to near perfection. Got engaged to her right after this in the parking lot. Just felt right. Especially after everything that has happened in my life with my dog passing from alimentary stoppage. Thank you dennys for giving me another reason to go on another day. Stays busy, so that's a good sign. People are always friendly here, especially the night crew. and night management. They do have discounts on their already-decent prices, including senior AARP card (15%) or disabled veteran/military discount (10%). It helps with the tax at least and is a nice gesture, unlike many of the chains here in Hernando County. They also do a free veterans meals on veteran's day (November 11 each year). Try the pot roast with red mashed potatoes (new side), or the cream corn with Parmesan. That's what I ordered. I generally order appetizers or off of the 55+ menu. It's on the back. My waitress was a peppy, petite redhead who was quick on her feet. I've never had a bad meal here and booths are usually cleaned well. Lots of families and children so it does get mildly loud sometimes, especially on weekends, but not rowdy. It's nice to come somewhere without TVs blaring. All in all an excellent diner-style dinner experience. read more

If I could leave a negative I would. This place is disgusting and should be shut down. The bathrooms are disgusting, and have holes in the walls covered up by paper towels jammed into the hole. Cuss words written on the walls. The host she was and older lady I don't know her name but she was extremely rude mumbling under her breath things when I was nice and smiling at her, complaining for no reason when I've done nothing I get that working in the restaurant is stressful but why take it out on me? I get seated this blonde lady with glasses comes up to me I think they called her Bianca ? I don't know but she was so rude to me and talking about other costumers and yelling like an animal. She had a disgusting attitude and does not deserve the job. She called a customer a "bi*tch" , mumbling threats walking away and that is totally unacceptable. They need staff that actually want to work. Another thing, THE HEALTH VIOLATIONS OH MY GOD. The servers cut things WITH THERE HANDS AND DONT USE GLOVES AFTER TOUCHING EVERYTHING IN SITE. It's disgusting I've never seen them wash their hands once my many times of being there. It's so nasty they literally dropped bread on the floor as well and picked it up for a to go order. This is the worst unorganized, rude staffed Dennys I've EVER been to.. read more

Sadly, we ordered something from the menu, no substitutions. Sandwich came with 2 key components missing. Dinner came without mashed potatoes. Result: Asked if we wanted more coffee and tea, we said yes please!... But they never came. Brought some bacon and avacado on a side plate after 1/2 my food was gone and after I'd just asked to charge me for a plain sandwich. Brought potatoes after the rest of the meal was done and the bowl was more like soup, all watery. Meanwhile waitress was over in a booth on her phone on her break... God forbid they miss a break for a couple of minutes when they have customers and a tip relies on service. Do not go here unless you want lousy service and only part of your order!...but still pay full price! read more

Biscuits were very dry and hard, pancakes were average. Otherwise very subpar experience/ service. And would not recommend.

Came in for breakfast and the food was fantastic! It came hot and fast! I was sorely disappointed with my server Bianca. I will be back for the food but not the server! read more

Went to Denny's on Labor Day for brunch (Wendy Court Spring Hill) , took 45 minutes to get our food. I asked the waitress what was taking so long, she told me that she had too many people to take care of. No apology, more or less said take it or leave it. I asked to speak to a manager, whose name was Debbie, she never came out to speak to us. In the meantime waiting for our food, there was a shouting match between a waitress and someone in the kitchen using the F word. So all the customers had to heard that. Overall the service was poor, inside the diner was dirty especially the women's toilets which were clogged up. I had reported it to one of the employees, don't know if they did anything about it. I have been going to this Denny's over the past 20 years or so, and I have never seen such deplorable service and treatment. I will never set my foot back into Denny's ever. Oh and by the way, the outside front entrance could certainly use a pressure washer to clean the sidewalk and steps . It was black !!! read more

If you're gone for the nachos, you're in good shape if you go for the Thanksgiving dinner, forget it you have to wait an hour then it comes out ice cold then you hear the cook in the kitchen running his mouth being real cocky with the servers.
