So I've never actually been to waffle house before, which is surprising because every time I visit friends or family in Florida they give me the same confused face. I'm not gonna lie, seeing waffle house up here on Worldstar a few times didn't exactly have me jumping at the chance to go, but my brother put his foot down and took me one night on a whim. and I'm so glad I did! If you're expecting glamour and five star service, this definitely isn't your vibe, but if you're looking for just that regular diner-esque vibe with a limited but classic menu, this is the SPOT! There were other waffle houses that my brother refused to take me too, but I've been to this one twice and it's actually quite peaceful. Both times I went past 1 AM and it was super chill. We got our food fast, we ate, we bounced. Our server was super funny about it being my first time there so she made me wear that WH hat, which I begrudgingly put on, but I was in a good mood, and it was all laughs. I would say it's a bit cheaper than IHOP, but it's still such a staple and I really like this particular location. When I come back and visit, I'll be coming here! During CoVid, masks hide the smiles, but friendliness is seen in the eyes and sweet voices of Nina and Erica! We were greeted and seated by Erica. Erica offered us digital or freshly cleaned plastic menus. We chose the latter. Nina took our order. Our orders came quickly: bacon, egg and cheese bowl for Husband and over easy eggs with wheat toast and grits for me. Husband said his was delicious. It was so plentiful that he asked for a to go box so he could finish it for breakfast tomorrow morning. I finished most of my excellent breakfast, but brought home half the grits for breakfast tomorrow. We will definitely return to this clean, friendly, and good food to eat Waffle House! read more

Ok so I naturally like Waffle Houses because their food is normally consistent across the nation. I assume I'm not going to be wowed but also know I will get decent food no matter what. Simple menu that will satisfy my hunger. But I must admit I was wowed at this location. As soon as we came in we were greeted by pretty happy employees. Service was great, the waitress pretty much made sure we got what we wanted to eat and even recommended the easiest way to put in the order since we wanted some random things to try out. The food came out quickly and even though I didn't get a picture of it, I had PERFECT sunny side up eggs. The egg whites were fully cooked and the bottom wasn't burned or even browned. I swear my husband said his name tag said "Rock Star" when I asked. lol. They checked on us often to make sure our drinks were good to go too. And what also impressed me was the cleanliness of the store both the dining room area and where they were cooking. I was thinking there were going to be grease and stuff everywhere but everything was clean and organized back there. It was crazy. Anyways, I look forward to eating there again. read more

Such a nice addition to all night eateries. This W. H. is so clean and they work to keep it that way. Odalis was my waitress. Very nice gal. Whole staff was friendly. I had an original burger that was better and tastier than a single Steak n Shake burger. Only a dollar. Also had the biscuit with choice of Jelly Yum. My wife always picks up our breakfast from Waffle House and the food is really good except they don't know the difference between scrambled eggs and scrambled lightly they did send s certificate for a free meal but when we used it guess what hard scrambled eggs again. I said I like them running so a fork can't pick up but I guess they give you what they want my wife asked to put in a a grit cup because he like them soft and yet hard eggs. I guess I'll have to have my wife buy eggs so I can make them at home the way I like them. I thought you should get what you ask for but I guess those days are gone. So this past weekend was my first time visiting the Hudson FL area for a family gathering and although I love Waffle House, the ones in Miami are always jam packed so I don't even bother going. This Waffle House is hands down the BEST Waffle House I have ever been to ! The customer service was exceptional, we went every morning we were in the area and the staff recognized us, the cook (Colton) even remembered our order from the day before as soon as we walked in and our waitress from the first day (Deah) was there every day to greet us but the entire staff is fantastic and attentive ! I love that. It is always so enjoyable eating somewhere where the employees take pride in their work ! The restaurant is extremely clean and well kept, as they cook and serve they clean up and organize. Honestly, I have never been to such a well functioning Waffle House lol. The staff get along great, the atmosphere is welcoming and homey, I highly recommend this location to anyone that lives in the area or is passing by and needs a bite to eat. My boyfriend and I truly loved coming here 4 days in a row for breakfast and look forward to being back soon ! read more

To start it was around 56 degrees outside and around 65 inside I asked the waiter about turning the air off or up and he said if the thermostat is locked in the manager's office he asked what the problem was I told him I don't like ice cold food so the food comes out the Grits had chunks in them the bacon was ice cold the biscuits were no thicker than a half dollar I only got to eat half the waffle because it got so cold within minutes then the rest of my food I only got to eat half of because of the same problem it got ice cold I will be calling tomorrow and complain to the manager read more

The beginning of our visit was great. Male waiter was very efficient and immediately took our order. We were the only customers in the restaurant so the cook had only our order to complete. The problem we found while trying to eat our breakfast was a disgruntled employee standing 2 ft away openly complaining about a fellow female employee who she thought was late coming in. The cook kept telling her to just clock out and leave, she was not needed, the other staff could handle the work but no - she stayed and just continued her complaining. Now I know there can be staff issues but customers do not want to hear someone whining about having to work and why they don't like a fellow employee. We couldn't wait to leave. As I walked out (my husband was paying the bill) I had to walk past the complaining employee right outside the front door who was smoking her vape cigarette. Really, you can't move away from the front door. I had all I could do not to keep quiet and not give this employee some helpful advice. Instead we will just wait awhile before going back to this Waffle House. The food was only warm at best so not at the top of our list for best place to eat. Going to give the manager some time to work with the staff. read more
