They're constantly moving refilling your drinks, your coffee, etc. It's a family owned business and their prices are great for the amount of food that you get. There's nothing like a good diner for a satisfying meal. You know you are at a good spot when you drive up and see lots of folks sitting outside waiting for a table. After a wait of about 15 minutes I was seated at the counter and immediately offered a drink. The coffee was delicious and Amber kept my cup full. Large diner menu and I opted for a classic; hot open faced beef sandwich. The beef barley soup was as good as mom used to make, filled with lots of beef chunks and flavor. The beef sandwich was huge with a large pile of mashed potatoes. Just the right amount of gravy and served with a side of corn. Huge portions, reasonably priced and delicious food with great service. Great food, wonderful happy waitress and quick service are the things this place excels in. Hands down the best place for breakfast or lunch in Hudson, and hubby and I are always happy coming here. After some medical appointments in the area it wasn't brunch but lunch that we desire, and my open-faced roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy hit the spot. I went there a few times to get takeout.. when I went up to the Register to pay for my order The computer came up and asked, how much of a tip I would like to leave... this irks me. I think the customer should decide on their own if and how much of the chip should be left. This happened twice to me. I've never been back since, and it's been over a year. Would it kill someone to whisk them before throwing them on a grill? They would come out so much more fluffier. Also salt & pepper always helps. You could ask the customer. And I know its expensive but real butter is always better. Eggs were Blah. Toast with whatever they use as fake butter is disgusting. Bacon was not crisp & the home fries are just potatoes thrown together and cooked on a grill, no taste, no flavor. One day, I am going to get a food truck and show y'all what real food is. Just flew in this morning at 6am to Tampa and was looking for a breakfast spot near our house. Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. The food and prices were fantastic! I had an omelet with home fries and the biggest English muffin I have ever seen. The service by far was OUTSTANDING. Everyone and I do mean everyone was checking in on us, refilling Coffee, etc. I have a feeling this is going to be our go to spot for breakfast. Also looking forward to trying their lunch! My fifth time here. Usually I come for breakfast, but today I did lunch. This place is jumping at lunch time, but they turn it over in a hurry and keep you informed while you are waiting. Let's start with the good.. it's clean and our busy server was kind, brisk and on point We arrived at noon so they were very busy even mid-week so there was a wait. Because there are two doors people come in from either side and folks are taken out of order which is annoying, especially when hangry, I ordered the chopped sirloin with mushroom gravy, she had the steak dish of some sort, This is where in my view the stars for this cafe departs reality. At best this was cafeteria food down to the canned Sysco style peas and carrots. There was no art to the dishes and high sodium. It was more akin to a grade school kitchen . Look the average age here of their customers is likely seventy so maybe they are appealing to a dentures audience . I love local diners but on imagination and food quality the Ram just misses. read more

The place was packed when I arrived and there were many people standing outside waiting. They quoted me a 20 minute wait and got me in. I appreciate the accurate estimates wait time.
