Outdoor area is shaded and has a TV in a breeze (wish they'd clean up the trash in the retention pond because it takes away from this experience). We were excited to get our food because the mushrooms were good there was a lot of fried mushrooms in the basket we thought the portion size was wonderful.. The cheese curds I was not impressed with like the mushrooms it was skimpy and hardly any curds in the basket. At this point, we were knew not to order the cheese but would order the mushrooms again . After our appetizer we sat there for a very long time waiting for our wings, which was the special. It felt like we were sitting in one of those slow motion movies where are you watching people just walk right past you as if they don't see you. Even when you're trying to get their attention. We shouldn't wait for over an hour to get our wings in an unpacked restaurant. We seen people that came in after us receiving food. Our waitress would walk past us and just ignore us as if we weren't there because she knew our wings did not come out yet. She was trying to ignore us until the wings came out. We were charged $.50 per cup of extra sauces that is fine but after making us wait so long, you would think they would've taken at least that little things like sauce off the bill or something. We truly asked a few times if it was going to be coming out anytime soon. They did not take any accountability for the extremely long wait. I definitely would NOT recommend this place to any of my friends or family. It was one of the worst dining experiences that I had in a very long time not to mention that my wings were basically tasteless oil butter, with a little bit of Parmesan & no garlic taste. The boneless ones were dried out. My husband and I just took it to go because they did not taste good and it took extremely long to come out. We just wanted to get home at that point. The wait the staff didn't even say they were sorry for how long we had to wait. Well I'd give them one star because the mushrooms were good. Again, I truly wanted to give this place a positive review like I did for some other businesses. I love to support our local restaurants. I have to write an honest review, because if I wouldn't want my family to waste money on a bed, do I need an experience I wouldn't want another family to do so either. Who knows maybe one day I will stop in by myself and try it again and update my review. I can only hope that this review will reach the manager and they will try to address these issues for other others. Because our waitress showed up to work and was friendly when she gave us our appetizers. We did tip her 20% because everybody sometimes has a bad day. The boneless wings were very dried out no moistness on the inside. So I would definitely say there was a mess up in the kitchen somewhere with no garlic on the wings and pure oil. Also, being deliberately ignored until the food came out was a highly annoying. I truly feel that local businesses deserve a second chance maybe one day I will try it again. When finally seated the last slices of cake had gone. The owner assured me there was one more cake being delivered in about 15 minutes, so I sat with my family and we ordered a light lunch. I ordered the Smoked Gouda Cheese Wedges...where has this been all my life?!?! Creamy rich with orange blossom honey, and applewood smoked bacon just a killer combination! The caked showed, and it did not disappoint decadent and sweet, yet balanced by the tangerine citrus. The reason I came didn't disappoint and my family loved it as well. It was truly an awesome cake, so thank you so much! The service was great as well, very attentive on such a busy day, Chantel made it seem we were a priority.
