The food is very good as well as the service. It's excellent. They are very community oriented and shows in all their decorations. They support fire department at 9:11 survivors. We went for breakfast because the reviews were mostly positive, however, that was not the case for us. I ordered a hungry man's breakfast, with 2 pancakes, two sausage links, bacon, 2 eggs over medium, and hash browns. My wife ordered 2 scrambled eggs, and two pancakes. I had coffee, my wife a glass of milk. My wife's scrambled eggs were over-cooked and dry, my eggs were not cooked over medium, as I asked, but were over easy with runny whites on top. My sausage was way over cooked, and both our pancakes were cold. The service was ok, I had to keep getting the waitress' attention to fill my coffee cup. The food was not good at all. This was without a doubt the worst breakfast places in Spring Hill. Our total bill with tip was a few cents under $40. We definitely will not be back. read more

Amazing food, service, music level and genre! Patty was very good with refills and checking on us. She was perfect. The food, well, what can I say? The hubby and I ate everything on our plate! As we were getting ready to leave, the whole staff was cleaning. Not just around the booths but actually pulling them away from the wall and cleaning behind them. This makes me feel good resting here! It's clean. If you are thinking about a place to eat that is affordable, has great service, clean and delicious food, Jams is your place. Loved it. read more

Just a little spot in the corner of a strip mall but what a hidden gem!! Friday is all you can eat fish & chips . It was so crispy and light without a bit of grease . Hubby had a half pastrami/ half corned beef sandwich. It was huge and delicious ! Service was absolutely perfect never had to look for our waitress once . It's just a nice clean homey place with great food . I think they should call it GEMS not Jams . read more

It first visit was for breakfast it was great. 2 visit was lunch. Not so great. Had a BLT almost nothing one piece of lettuce one slice of tomato and what appears to be two crumbled slices of bacon. For -$9 is never order this again Strange thing this place typically has large portions. I will say the serving was fantastic read more

Your typical "hole in the wall" family restaurant. Debbie our host was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable. I ordered the breakfast sausage croissant sandwich with a side order of home fries and it was DA BOMB!!! I most definitely would recommend it and order it again and again. Tried this for the first time today and it will definitely be our last. There were bugs on the table the toast had so much butter you couldn't eat it and the pancakes were hard. CHECK YOUR BILL - FOR OVERCHARGE! Good service, good food, clean restaurant BUT.......... Check your bill! They charged us $34.38 for a $22.00 bill - See hand written bill and then see the itemized receipt that I had to specifically ask for. If I hadn't looked for it ( because the same thing happened the previous time I was there) I would have paid 33% more than my actual bill. About $11 more. They also charge an up-charge ($1.00) for egg whites and although I'm ok with an upcharge for cheese in the omelet (.65) and for Substituting toast with an English muffin (.50) I can't say I approve of the dollar upcharge for separating a yolk (which they get to keep and use in their other omelettes anyway); particularly when I'm already paying $7.45 for a veggie omelette. So, in summary, the service is good, the food is delicious, but the prices are not reasonable and the business practices are questionable. Decide for yourself. If this "error" on my charges hadn't happened two out of two visits to this place...... I'd have given it five Stars. The food was really delicious and very nicely prepared and our server for the most part efficient and pleasant. read more

Possibly the best little breakfast place Ive found in Spring Hill. Great prices, food always cooked right. They even ask you if you want onions in your home fries, that's a first for me! Pancakes were awesome, and the service was quick and friendly. I'm from NY, so I got a biscuit and it was great. Soft, fluffy, so big I couldn't finish it. We wound up going there 3 days of our 5 day stay. Next time I'm in Spring Hill, I'll definitely be back. I will check out the place for lunch this time, the burger I saw as I was leving my late breakfast looked awesome. read more

When I asked about almond milk, I was informed it was an extra charge of 65 cents (in addition to the $2.65 for the coffee). Unless it's Starbucks coffee, I'm not sure it's worth it, so I asked for a refund, which was NOT refunded without "permission" from the cook. Even though the bagels seemed fresh, there's another bagel store that I will go to in the future.

From sweet to savory, everyone was satisfied. I had the sausage and cheese omelet, which was chock full of thinly sliced sausage inside and on top. The potatoes were hearty, the toast was the perfect complement, and an orange slide is both decorative and delicious. The coffee was nice, and the table was spacious with everyone being able to have enough space and talk without too much ambient noise. The prices were very reasonable. This is a great place whether you want breakfast or lunch, and either way, if you're with friends or family, you're having a good time.

I have to admit, I was a bit hesitant to write this review because I didn't want to give away my favorite breakfast spot. But I can't be selfish - Jams Cafe deserves all the praise it gets. This place has a fantastic menu with delicious food that never disappoints. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and they even know me by name and my usual order. The atmosphere is always pleasant, with oldies music playing in the background, adding to the cozy feel of the place. What sets Jams apart for me is their commitment to supporting and honoring Military Veterans and giving back to the community. I Love Jams. I found Jams by accident and I'm so glad I did. They have the best Biscuits and sausage gravy in Hernando Co. Light dreamy biscuits and smooth creamy gravy loaded with chucks of sausage. Their Home fries are excellent too. Everything is aways fresh and delicious. I've had the huge sandwiches and salads, burgers, etc. So far I haven't had anything I didn't like. The place is spotlessly clean and scrubbed down each day when they close. I was surprised at how attentive they are to keeping the restaurant spotless, and watched one day when I was the last one served before closing. The waitresses are all friendly and sweet. I used to love this restaurant until they treated the best waitress they ever had like crap. When people come into your restaurant and want a specific waitress that usually means they are doing their job. This place had 3 long time waitresses and 1 retired recently. They hire new waitresses and these waitresses are mad because nobody wants to see their sad ole faces. I truly believe in karma and what goes around comes around. I had their corn beef reuben on their seedless rye bread. The sandwich was so thick I couldn't eat it all. They have breakfast and lunch and a dinner selection for those of you that eat dinner early.. I've only been here for the breakfast. You get an ample amount of food and the price is excellent. I had two eggs home fries and white toast. They have another location on Spring Hill Dr. right near Wendy's. I never tried that one but it's the same as this one. At least it's the same menu. It was very good. We were very satisfied and full but, not overly full. I do recommend this place but if you are willing to pay higher prices for breakfast that messes the place for you. I prefer another breakfast place that has better prices that we've been going for a long time. I won't mention their name here because this is not about their review. But yes, give this place a try.
