(Belated post, Summer 2022) We returned back to Jams during our Summer Vacay and we're pleasantly surprised to see NOTHING had changed -- in the BEST possible way! The wait time was still prompt, service still stellar, and food still DELICIOUS! Gotta love Jams! Will definitely keep coming back to this place for a down home, family vibe and tasty dishes to boot. Still highly recommended!

Last time I checked. French toast was made with cinnamon, the hash brown had no seasoning what so ever, taste like you biting into a potato, eggs are sunny side up and they didn't cook them very well yolk still cold. The only thing that was good was the bacon and the toast $32 dollar for 2 of these order

However, it is nice that this is conveniently located just off of US 19. That said, this is a great, quick bar type atmosphere with good food. They have a onion appetizer that is similar to the blooming onion at Steakhouse's. It is fabulous. They also have drink specials like a rocket pop during specific holidays and are quite tasty. Conveniently located behind steak 'n Shake in the Publix plaza. Indoor seating is air-conditioned and they have booths, which are nice when you're with family wanting conversation. Outdoor area is shaded and has a TV in a breeze (wish they'd clean up the trash in the retention pond because it takes away from this experience). Still, the food, selection, quality, and drinks special shells have brought us back on occasion.

We thought it would be wonderful to try their special where we bought bone in wings and got some boneless wings for free because that was their special. It was not packed when we arrived just a couple of tables. Getting our appetizers, the waitress was friendly when the mushrooms came out. We were excited to get our food because the mushrooms were good there was a lot of fried mushrooms in the basket we thought the portion size was wonderful.. The cheese curds I was not impressed with like the mushrooms it was skimpy and hardly any curds in the basket. At this point, we were knew not to order the cheese but would order the mushrooms again . After our appetizer we sat there for a very long time waiting for our wings, which was the special. It felt like we were sitting in one of those slow motion movies where are you watching people just walk right past you as if they don't see you. Even when you're trying to get their attention. We shouldn't wait for over an hour to get our wings in an unpacked restaurant. We seen people that came in after us receiving food. Our waitress would walk past us and just ignore us as if we weren't there because she knew our wings did not come out yet. She was trying to ignore us until the wings came out. We were charged $.50 per cup of extra sauces that is fine but after making us wait so long, you would think they would've taken at least that little things like sauce off the bill or something. We truly asked a few times if it was going to be coming out anytime soon. They did not take any accountability for the extremely long wait. I definitely would NOT recommend this place to any of my friends or family. It was one of the worst dining experiences that I had in a very long time not to mention that my wings were basically tasteless oil butter, with a little bit of Parmesan & no garlic taste. The boneless ones were dried out. My husband and I just took it to go because they did not taste good and it took extremely long to come out. We just wanted to get home at that point. I told them I was going to write a review and they did not care so if you feel like dining in a place like that, feel free to do so. I hope your dining experience is way better than mine was.. I told my husband maybe we will try it again down the road and try to give it another chance he said absolutely not. He stated that he would never go back there again. The atmosphere was OK on the inside. The outside looked cute. I was truly hoping to be able to give this place a 5 star review but when the wait staff did not care about the review after I told her that I would be writing one because that's what I do on the side and she did not even get a manager for us. The wait the staff didn't even say they were sorry for how long we had to wait. Well I'd give them one star because the mushrooms were good. Again, I truly wanted to give this place a positive review like I did for some other businesses. I love to support our local restaurants. I have to write an honest review, because if I wouldn't want my family to waste money on a bed, do I need an experience I wouldn't want another family to do so either. Who knows maybe one day I will stop in by myself and try it again and update my review. I can only hope that this review will reach the manager and they will try to address these issues for other others. Because our waitress showed up to work and was friendly when she gave us our appetizers. We did tip her 20% because everybody sometimes has a bad day. The boneless wings were very dried out no moistness on the inside. So I would definitely say there was a mess up in the kitchen somewhere with no garlic on the wings and pure oil. Also, being deliberately ignored until the food came out was a highly annoying. I truly feel that local businesses deserve a second chance maybe one day I will try it again. So wherever you may choose to go, may you have a happy dining experience. If you do choose this place, I can only hope that these issues were resolved and that your experience will be a phenomenal one. Have a blessed day.

When finally seated the last slices of cake had gone. The owner assured me there was one more cake being delivered in about 15 minutes, so I sat with my family and we ordered a light lunch. As frequenters of their Dade City location Green Door on 8th, we were excited to see how this spot compared. I am happy to report that it maintains the same high standard while offering a unique charm of its own. The ambiance was cozy, providing an intimate and welcoming atmosphere that felt special for the holiday. Our server, Delaney, was outstanding. She was attentive, personable, and ensured that her timing was perfect throughout our dining experience. We started our evening with the smoked gouda, one of our favorite appetizers, and a round of their red sangria. The gouda was rich and flavorful, and the sangria was perfectly balanced--a great start to the meal. For our main courses, my wife ordered the shrimp and grits, which was prepared beautifully. My wife reported there was a definite spicy kick to the sauce. I opted for the evening's special, a bison ribeye served with "cowboy butter" and creamy mashed potatoes and smoked brussel sprouts as sides. The bison was cooked to perfection (medium rare), and the smokiness of the sprouts added a fantastic depth to the dish. We were too full to eat dessert at the table, so we took a slice of chocolate cake to-go. Whether you are a regular from Dade City or a Brooksville local, this location is a must-visit.

I got coffee and water, and my daughter asked for orange juice. The coffee was very, very good. I drank 2 cups before my food even arrived. We didn't wait very long before the food came, and it was a LOT of food. We both had to box it up and take it home. We both got the same thing, which was the scrambled bowl (I hope that's the correct name of the dish). It was very good. We both had the loaded egg with American cheese on it and it came with a busicut, toast, or bagel and since I can't eat bread, my daughter had my biscuit. She devoured that. She said she loved how the bread had just the right amount of toasting on the top, as though they butter it and put it face down on the grill. I will definitely be back again!
