Gave me potatoes from God know when, did replace them but why serve burnt ones to begin with.

After seeing this shop open up, hubby and I decided to get breakfast after a local doctor appointment. We were greeted warmly by the host, but unfortunately that's where everything went horribly wrong. Hubby wanted a pork roll egg and cheese sandwich on a plain bagel. Unfortunately at 9:45 am there was no plain bagel for sale! How do you run out of bagels if you're a bagel store early in the morning?? Second choice was a poppyseed bagel - but he ended up scraping off the poppyseeds as best he could. I ordered an egg and cheese on an everything bagel, which was fresh. We also ordered coffees, but after discovering that no milk, either regular, low fat, or nonfat available - only the creamers that are prepackaged and not refrigerated or a French Vanilla creamer that has a high sugar content. When I asked about almond milk, I was informed it was an extra charge of 65 cents (in addition to the $2.65 for the coffee). Unless it's Starbucks coffee, I'm not sure it's worth it, so I asked for a refund, which was NOT refunded without "permission" from the cook. Even though the bagels seemed fresh, there's another bagel store that I will go to in the future. read more

I don't leave a negative review ever, unless I really need the management to see and address the issue for future customers. Please, for the love of God, if someone orders a bagel with cream cheese - TOAST THE THING! I usually love the food from here when I order in. Well I door dashed a salt bagel with cream cheese and someone spread a tiny amount of cream cheese on a COLD RAW bagel. I had to try scraping it and toasting it myself. It stayed raw inside where cream cheese remained, and burned on the outside. It was so disgusting I gagged and couldn't finish. I'm not even a picky eater! Toast the bagel or leave the cream cheese on the side. But there was also an absurd amount of salt on this bagel. Please consider observing how other bagel companies make this one bagel. Humans can't eat that much salt without vomiting. read more

I don't like to leave negatives reviews unless I have too but I hope the owners learn from this. I'm not vocal in my complaints while I'm physically present at the store because I don't want to deter other patrons from buying and I don't like to make a scene which would make people feel uncomfortable so here is my complaint. 1. I ordered an iced latte they gave me a hot one.. ok no problem I told her hey it was an iced one but here is where I get bothered. The lady just flips the hot drink into a cup of ice cubes and hands it to me. If you know anything with milk you would know that putting steamed milk over ice changes the taste and also promotes a flash growth of microorganisms in the drink. This really turned me off because in other coffee shops where they have mess up giving me a hot instead of an iced latte they remake the drink and pour COLD MILK over ice then the espresso shot. Not dunk steamed milk over ice. Short story I threw the drink out once I walked out after one sip because of how nasty it tasted. 2. The bagels are undercooked they're all pale as a ghost, they don't not have that golden look to tell you they're cooked well. Pale bagels usually mean there is a problem and that dough was over fermented and the sugars present have been used up by the yeast. If you look up there other location in Wesley chapel you can tell those bagels are cooked better. The fact you ever bothered to put this bagels on the shelf just shows the lack of effort to your craft. **look up the bagels at the Wesley chapel location and you can tell these are undercooked** 3. The vegetable cream cheese was very watery and not smooth like regular cream cheese. Granted me and my family tried it, sure enough 5-6 hours later after eating the cream cheeses our stomachs started churning and we knew we got sick from it. The cream cheese almost had a curdled taste to it... and I blame myself for not throwing it in the garbage when I first opened it. The prep of the veggie cream cheese is horrendous, huge shreds of carrots, and other undistinguishable things. Never in my life have I seen veggie cream cheese like this. We know it was the cream cheese because one family member had a bagel with jelly they're perfectly fine. 4. Nobody in my house made it past more than half their bagels, the mute taste, the soggy feeling, and even how it tasted after we toasted proved these are poorly made bagels. 5. My biggest regret is wasting 16 dollars here because I had to throw everything away. I do like how they're reasonable priced though and I do find the interior of the place to be nice. I was hoping this bagel shop would give bagels and beyond more of a challenge so we can have better alternatives in the county but I guess not. If this is your best at your grand opening I would say you need to make major improvements. The staff is nice and pleasant but that only goes so far when the food presented is poor quality. I hope the best for the owners and I probably will take a long break before I come back and visit this location. Fairly clean, and the service was good. Bagels were very good, but wife and I weren't thrilled with the sandwiches. Not really what we would consider big enough as far as the eggs go, and wife said avocado should have been slices instead of a mash. Overall great experience. Staff were friendly, and there were a lot of bagel and sandwich options to choose from. Lunch items were available to order before 10am which was cool. We got a Crispy Chicken bagel: good value for $6, but could have used a little more seasoning. Also ordered buffalo chicken wrap with potato salad: wrap was not that good and probably would not order again, but potato salad was fine. Would go back and try different food next time. Been waiting for a close bagel place! Saw this place was finally open. Dreading the let down of disappointment after waiting so long! Luckily it was great! Sorry we dug into the bagels so fast I couldn't even get a picture (well at least not one Yelp worthy). Great selections of bagels and sandwiches. Lots of different coffee options. We got our typical half dozen but saw they were placing in some fresh out of the oven and decided to be brave and try new flavor! It was a garlic cheddar! Nice and warm and now my new fav! It almost has like a Dorito taste to it! Who doesn't like Doritos!? Their service was accommodating to my needs (like my lox on the side) and made it work without making me feel they are doing me a favor! I'm not a bagel connoisseur and haven't spent my life in NY (my hubby will be the true test). I will update the review if he finds them not bagel-worthy. :). I doubt he will have a problem! We were so excited to see this store open in our area. Especially because this store is right next to our house and driving to bagels and beyond is further out. The staff was very nice , but the pale looking ghost bagels on the shelf almost made us hesitant , I was thinking in my head this doesn't look right . But we decided to order a 1/2 dozen and give this a chance. My gut was right , these bagels were so gross my entire family each took one bite and couldn't eat anymore. They tasted like dry non flavored pizza dough. Extremely undercooked , pale , flavorless dough. The cheddar Asiago tasted like the cheese went bad. We will not be coming back here, sad for a new business to open their doors with a horrible recipe and product. Very disappointing for new store opening!!!! Went at 11 AM. Almost no bagels that were shipped from the Wesley Chapel store early this morning. I know it's a new store but open when you have all of your equipment in the store and supplies to make a simple thing like a western omelet. That's a simple requested omelet. I love having fresh bagels right down the road. I love the quality of the bagels you know they were made fresh that morning. The place is clean and the staff are very friendly and fast. Our go to is the farmhouse. It is so filling and yummy. I like the chewy of the bagel it's not stale or overly chewy like other places. It is soft inside which is so nice. Highly recommend! This was our first time trying this establishment. Some of our neighbors went and said they were really good, like NY bagels. (They're not from NY, however) I rarely eat bread, but being from NY, once in a while I crave a real bagel. I'm sorry to report this, but they're not even close to real New York bagels. As soon as I took it out of the wrapper and touched it I knew it wasn't right. I was really hoping they'd be like NY bagels. I'm from New York (Brooklyn & L.I.) and have had real bagels. I'd say NY bagels are more dense, not fluffy with a lot of air holes like the ones we had. They're supposed to have a brown, shiny, chewy crust outside because they're made with malt syrup which gives them a distinct taste too. They have a hole in the middle. These didn't have the right taste. My husband and I each got a bagel with cream cheese, to go. He ordered cinnamon raisin and there was maybe 2 raisins in the entire bagel. He ate about 2/3 of it before he found one. We were beginning to think they gave him the wrong thing. Super nice people and were working hard to give good service. It was Sunday morning and they were pretty busy which is good for them. The breakfast sandwiches looked good. People who don't know any better or aren't picky will like it just fine. However, we probably won't go back unless they change their bagels to be just like NY bagels. I wish them the best of luck with their endeavor. 3 stars because their service was good. read more

Is your favorite part of a slice of pizza the dry, flavorless, crust at the end? If it is- you will definitely want to get your bagels here. I decide to go to this Bagel place today, I had the best experience. The owner was there, the three ladies that work there was the best customer service. I see the negative reviews on here but did not think about it when I went. The owner was the nicest lady and she and her hubby own the one in Wesley Chapel too. They had plenty of bagels, all sorts of them and fresh they were. Everyone should go there and get some delicious bagels and talk to the people there. Among other things, we ordered two blueberry bagels with cream cheese ans butter. They charged us for four bagels with cream cheese, and then served us two bagels with no cream cheese or butter. We didn't notice the issue until we got home, as the bagels were for family rather than for us, so we had to drive back once the issue was discovered. There seemed to be a massive communication issue between the person working the register and the person who took our order, as well, as we had to clarify several things despite not having any complicated or custom requests. I'll give them credit in that they did make it right by making the bagels we asked for after we mentioned the issue (though we were not refunded for the two extras we were charged for), but we probably won't be back even to claim the free sandwich they offered to make up for our trouble.
