The service was with a smile, but a tad bit slow, but it did not change my mind about my satisfaction of the place. The only other thing I will say is that my entrée came out much later than my other three table mates, which was actually several minutes later. However, my entrée was hot and fresh and very delicious my preference would've been to have everything served all at once, but perhaps the kitchen wasn't able to do it. All in all, I definitely recommend this awesome little café and I definitely will be back to try lunch.

We decided to stop by Bruce Brother's coffee. My wife and I both ordered a peppermint mocha iced latte and we both were blown away by how good the coffee is. It's smooth, and very flavorful with no bitterness at all. This is exactly what my wife and I were looking for. On top of how good the coffee is, I was able to get a decaf iced latte in 32 oz. Who does that size in a decaf? Nobody that's who. We will most definitely be back and will make sure to spread the word.

I've gotten Mimi's Favorite (don't quote me on the name of this drink) twice and I really do like it. It's essentially a brown sugar cinnamon latte with cinnamon cold foam. If you like those flavors in your iced latte drinks then I'd definitely recommend you try this one! They've got a cute little kids menu which isn't always a thing at coffee shops for obvious reasons but I am very grateful for it because I do bring children with me sometimes. I ordered the Cocoa freeze (it has no coffee in it) this time around and the child really loved it. This location has always had ventilation issues and it seems to have only gotten worse. As soon as you step inside, you walk in to a building full of smoke from cooking, it's ok for a few minutes but made me nauseous while waiting for food. Stay too long and you smell like the place for the rest of the day. There didn't seem to be many people working so for 3 of us to order and take it to go took 40 minutes. On top of that, a young child that must have been one of the employees was wandering around unsupervised, grabbing customers, playfully biting them, rolling on the floor and licking the floor - nearly the whole time we waited for the food to come out. It was a lot and seemed to make a lot of people uncomfortable. It also made us question, since he came from behind the counter, if he had access to and was touching the food in the back. I completely understand that child care is expensive, but in this environment there needs to be some supervision. Unfortunately at 9:45 am there was no plain bagel for sale! How do you run out of bagels if you're a bagel store early in the morning?? Second choice was a poppyseed bagel - but he ended up scraping off the poppyseeds as best he could. I ordered an egg and cheese on an everything bagel, which was fresh. We also ordered coffees, but after discovering that no milk, either regular, low fat, or nonfat available - only the creamers that are prepackaged and not refrigerated or a French Vanilla creamer that has a high sugar content. When I asked about almond milk, I was informed it was an extra charge of 65 cents (in addition to the $2.65 for the coffee). Unless it's Starbucks coffee, I'm not sure it's worth it, so I asked for a refund, which was NOT refunded without "permission" from the cook. Even though the bagels seemed fresh, there's another bagel store that I will go to in the future.
