I wrote a review here a few days ago concerning your Kolachki cookies and lack of filling. I have…read moreeaten these types of cookies for over 70 yrs and never have I had to mention lack of filling. MY mother made them every Christmas and filling was great. She wasn't even POLISH and our neighbor who was Slovakian made them and they were delicious with lots of filling. Yours taste like powdered dough with no filling. To make matters worse I make them too and no one has ever been disappointed. These cookies are too expensive to throw away, so I am eating whatever they taste like. Good thing my wife didn't travel 75 miles to purchase them just 10 miles to Leesburg. I don't see my first comment and don't expect to see this one on your site either because it is a negative comment.

I picked up their current special flavor Bundtlet Lemon Raspberry in both regular and gluten free in addition to a Bundtlet Carrot Cake. The service was great, quick and polite. The reason for 4 stars is the carrot cake seemed more breadlike than cake like. I was thinking it would be more moist than it was? I will update my review after we try the Lemon Raspberry ones. Maybe those will be a different consistency?

This place is a little confusing - sandwich shop (called Sandwhich Hound) and cake shop in one. I…read moream going to first say, the food was great-really delicious smash burgers and sandwiches and a good bit of variety. Sides - fries or chips are both great, seasoned well. They have a $5 meal deal where you get a drink, fries or chips, and a dessert (brownie or cupcake). There were some issues that would probably make me come back but for order ahead take out only. This location has always had ventilation issues and it seems to have only gotten worse. As soon as you step inside, you walk in to a building full of smoke from cooking, it's ok for a few minutes but made me nauseous while waiting for food. Stay too long and you smell like the place for the rest of the day. There didn't seem to be many people working so for 3 of us to order and take it to go took 40 minutes. On top of that, a young child that must have been one of the employees was wandering around unsupervised, grabbing customers, playfully biting them, rolling on the floor and licking the floor - nearly the whole time we waited for the food to come out. It was a lot and seemed to make a lot of people uncomfortable. It also made us question, since he came from behind the counter, if he had access to and was touching the food in the back. I completely understand that child care is expensive, but in this environment there needs to be some supervision. Again, food was great, service was slow but friendly, the environment just wasn't good at all.
