I needed a costume on short notice and decided to give them a try. I told the clerk that I wanted to go as a gangster. To complicate things I'm 78 inches tall. He went into the back room and came back with three options for less than $70 each. It actually fit my length which shocked me. I received compliments from everyone there. Wonderful ladies working today!! They worked so hard to help me find what I was looking for, or as close to it as I could find. They really made my trip up there more than worth it. Good party store, better than the one by the Brandon Mall - many different themes for kids or big kids parties, from generic to Spongebob and Roblox. They also have some baby shower items but sparce on serving tray and serving utensil options. The staff and selection really stood out to me. I recommend you check it out, just be forewarned. After the fact, I read the receipt that says they are not allowing returns, exchanges or refunds due to covid. I have things wrapped in original packaging that never got touched. Lost money and created waste, which I hate. Probably wont be back as enthusiastically because of this. Its just really annoying. read more

Need party accessories? Need a costume? No worries, Party Planet's got it. Items I ordered through a well known supposed to be fast shipper failed to arrive before my themed event, OH NO! So I had to dash out to local party supply places to find accessories. Thanks to all of the NYE and 2020 celebrations many places are sold out of 1920s themed items. Party Planet also had limited supplies of my theme items so I purchased what I was missing including the cutest hot pink boa to make my outfit FIERCE! I called ahead to order balloons and the staff were incredibly helpful. I arrived at the store to pick up the balloons and the staff were again wonderful in helping me find other things I needed. I have ordered a lot of balloons in the past but have never had a store put them into a bag for easier transport or put the sticker on so that the numbers would stay in place. They even assisted me in getting my very large bouquet of balloons into the car. Unfortunately, this business failed to announce that they have a "No Return" policy. I bought a costume for my boyfriend and it was too small. On the same day I tried to return it and get a bigger size. I was denied and told that it states on the receipt no returns... they inform you of the no return policy, after you purchased the item. It's not everyday you find a local mom-and-pop party shop in your town but we're lucky enough to have one in Brandon! I've been in there several times and I've made a few balloon orders and purchased unique party decorations. My most recent visit, I pre-ordered balloons for my son's 18th birthday. One of the owners Patrick, was very helpful from the minute I walked in the store. I expressed to him what I was in there for and my vision of how I would like the balloon bouquet to look. He walked around the balloon section with and made a variety of suggestions. I finally decided on a number one and the number 8 to make 18 and a few latex balloons to adorn it. What makes their balloons unique, the latex balloons commonly only last a few hours but there's last days! I was picking this bouquet up the night before I needed it and needed them to at least look good for the next day. For a small surcharge, they add a special solution to seal up the pores in the latex balloon and the balloons last days! My balloons were blown up on Saturday, it's currently Tuesday afternoon and they're still floating up as high as the mylar balloons! That special solution is a balloon game changer! Their professionalism, knowledge and customer service with all things party and celebratory is second to none!! I purchased balloons on Friday afternoon and they were already popping during my son's party on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. T his was the worst balloon purchase I have ever made, and they did nothing to accommodate this purchase. I was told that I could purchase more balloons and they would then give me free solution to make the balloons last. Only the first balloons I already purchased solution to make them last, but they did not make it for 24 hours! Do not buy your balloons here or you will regret it! And because I asked for some kind of compensation, not even a full refund, I was told to get off of their property before they call the police on me for trespassing! So now I guess you can't complain as a customer for poor service without having the police called on you! read more
