Let's plan a party was outstanding, I found out that my great nephew wasn't going to be able to share his birthday with his friends so I did the next best thing order a yard sign from Let's plan a party.. they were so amazing with their work and customer service and I only gave them two days notice.. Had a wonderful party. I didn't have to lift a finger. They planned it and booked everything for me from the location to the food and the entertainers. We had balloon artist and face painting. We also had a bounce house. They made this the best party ever. Worth every penny spent! read more

Chonya was a pleasure to work with while planning my daughter's fourth birthday party. She was easy to communicate with and always quick with responses. We decided on airbrush tattoo and face painting at a local park. When we realized the park wouldn't have power for the airbrush tattoos she was quick with an alternate option, glitter tattoos. The week of my daughter's party the weather for the day of the party got progressively worse. I scrambled to find somewhere inside to move the party to but had no luck due to the last minute change and size of our party. She was so understanding when I had to cancel the party all together as some things are out of our control. I will definitely be calling her again in the future for our next party adventure and definitely recommend! read more

I've been to a lot of parties or events with face painting. I always thought my daughter looked amazing...until Chonya came and worked my sons first birthday party! Wow!! She was amazing! I have NEVER seen such beautiful face painting and "ankle" painting and henna painting! My guests were talking about her work for weeks after our party! She used color wisely, glitter and gems! My friend didn't want her face done so she did her ankle! I would definitely recommend her! Cheers! read more

We had them out to our store for an event and they were Wonderful!!! We were originally supposed to have our event during Hurricane Matthew, and the owner was extremely accommodating in regards to switching the event to another date for no additional charge. Then, when we finally got to do the event, Let's Plan a Party really made everyone smile!! They were extremely professional and friendly, and would be a fantastic addition to anyone looking for a face painter at their party. Wonderful designs, too!! read more

Meet the Business Owner: Chonya A.

Hi my name is Chonya Alvarez and I am a Face and Body Painter here in the Tampa Bay area. My husband and I have lived here in the Wesley Chapel area for over 10 years. I am the mother of three wonderful children I am very busy being involved as my sons Den Leader for the Cub Scouts. I am also active in his school PTA and our local Chamber of Commerce.I have been a in the cosmetology and spa industry for almost 20 years, I am a licensed Massage therapist with a small practice I love to making kids smile and also to taking stress away from others, these two passions have proven to work very well together and it is great to make such wonderful memories and be such a big part of each child's special day. I am fully insured, level 2 background checked, licensed and am fully CPR child, infant and adult with AED training. I want you to feel as safe and secure in your decision to use our services.One of my goals is to take the stress out of your event.

We needed some balloons for a friend's birthday and after Party City closed we found this place…read moreclose by. Walking in it looks like the speciality balloons were bought on temu with many of them in unlabeled plastic bags. We found the only gold 4 and a gold 2 and the gentleman said essentially that they are small but they said 32". He pointed to a different display. We looked but they didn't have the numbers we needed or matching colors. We went with the 32" and asked for 6 regular balloons and checked out. We asked to pick them up the next morning which was fine and took home a little balloon sign to hang up. In the morning my husband went to pick them up and the 4 wouldn't float so the same man showed him and unmatched 2 and 4 instead but had no other replacement options. He took a refund. At home the sign reading "happy bday" would only half inflate. It was disorganized, we were unable to clearly communicate and were not satisfied with this business.

She stayed for longer than expected to help set up and to help revive a balloon arch we started outside of Beautiful Backdrops. She was so accommodating to the setup time and truly did all she could to get us party-ready (I also have to give a shoutout to her hubby, who was such an awesome help too!). The burgers are just cheap frozen patties that were way over cooked. They tasted funky, like a chemical taste to it. The patties were also burnt. It was essentially a hockey puck vs any imagination of real meat. 0/10. They were not good at all. The kids nuggets were virtually processed cardboard. They clearly had been sitting out for a while and warmed up. 0/10. The 8 year old said they tasted funny, so I tried one and it did have a weird taste. Disgusting. The fries, they were under-cooked. We didn't even eat them. Hot on the outside and cold on the inside. Zero salt as well. Honestly, McDonald's would have been a FAR better option for burgers and nuggets. These were absolutely disgusting. I don't really recommend ever going here. If you're in the area, go to Ukulele or In the Loop Brewing. Stay clear of this over priced dump.

This place is gorgeous. The walls are decorated with beautiful pieces of artwork from local artists and the space is occupied by a multitude of events throughout the month, which are updated weekly in their newsletter. Mark and Rachel graced us with a wonderful conversation throughout our visit and were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their selection. They are both wonderful hosts and fabulous bartenders; make sure to try the sparkling sorbet cocktails if you're ever in Plant City.
