We had the absolute pleasure of working with Katy and her team for our June 2021 wedding. From the start, Katy was super responsive and attentive to our needs. We had to cancel our original wedding plans and replan a destination in less than 3 months. I was so stressed out, but Katy and her team made everything SO easy even being so far away. They quickly found us the BEST vendors, they organized everything for us and made sure we were completely taken care of. Typically I am a very hands on, want to plan everything myself type of person, but I completely put my trust in Katy's hands and she DELIVERED! I should add- we chose the highest package with the most help from them. We had lost thousands in deposits from our original wedding plans and because of that, Katy worked with us to make it affordable / manageable. Seriously, a lifesaver. Be She went out of her way to make sure all of the little details I wanted were taken care of before we got to Florida so I wouldn't have to worry about trying to ship everything there. She responded to every email/text right away... even when it was in the middle of the night. On the day of my wedding, I let her know that I wasn't feeling well (my son had gotten me sick) and she came in bright and early with medicine & Pedialyte to make sure I was ok. If anything went wrong at my wedding, I had no idea because Katy seriously took care of everything for us. From working with vendors, setting up, checking in on everyone, etc., she was on top of it all day. She even helped us pull off a last minute pregnancy announcement surprise during our reception. I seriously couldn't have been more grateful for Katy and her team. Hiring her as a coordinator was the best decision I made for my wedding. Seriously. She's absolutely incredible and so good at what she does. You're truly missing out if you don't hire them for your big day. read more

In October of 2018 My fiancé and I started the search for wedding planners in the St. Augustine area. We had our hearts set on getting married at the Casa Monica hotel on Halloween night 2020. We live in Fort Lauderdale and needed to find someone we could trust with a lot of orchestrating as we wouldn't be able to come up too often before our date. During our first call with Katy we knew we had found the perfect partner in planning! Not only did Katy have some wonderful ideas, she was genuine and truly excited to work with us. We planned and planned. Katy put us in touch with amazing vendors and supported us every step of the way. We exchanged dozens of emails, calls and texts. Two years and a pandemic later, we had to make the very difficult decision of postponing our wedding to October 2021. Even now, as a type this - I have no idea if it's happening next year. What I can tell you is that Katy, in the midst of cancelling her own destination wedding, stopped and moved mountains for us. She and her team worked tirelessly to reach out to all of our vendors, confirm availability for our new dates and re-sign all of our contracts. Whether our actual wedding in St. Augustine happens or not, we will forever have Katy and her team in our hearts. I have never once in two years felt anxious or fearful. Coastal has always held our best interest as paramount. They are professional, knowledgeable and best of all great humans. To be perfectly honest, Katy's fee is a steal and I would pay her fee twice over. She has made the entire wedding planning process (pandemic included!) a breeze. We cannot thank Katy, the Coastal Coordinating family and all of our vendors enough for their amazing love and support on this journey. read more

We had the pleasure of working with Coastal Coordinating for our wedding, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Katy was incredible from start to finish. She was not only exceptionally kind but also highly professional and always available whenever we needed her guidance or support. Katy made our vision come to life and provided us with amazing ideas that made our wedding truly memorable. Her attention to detail and dedication to creating a perfect day for us was truly remarkable. On our wedding day, we were fortunate to have Cayla as our day-of wedding assistant. She went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly. Cayla's kindness and attentiveness were outstanding. She made sure that my wife and I had everything we needed throughout the day. We felt completely taken care of and were able to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of our celebration, thanks to her efforts. Coastal Coordinating is an exceptional wedding planning team, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. From the initial planning stages to the final execution, they exceeded our expectations. If I could choose one vendor to book over and over, it would hands down be Katy and Coastal. From the get go, she was so attentive, caring, detail oriented, and professional. As a destination bride, I knew I needed a coordinator, but I am SO HAPPY I did the full planning package. It was hands down the best money spent ever. Being a covid bride was so tough especially going from a pregnant bride to a mama bride, and I can honestly say without Katy I couldn't have done it. She made me feel so supported and calm through the whole process and I will be forever grateful! The day of, my dress strap broke, was soaking wet (because rain and wind in Florida-DUH!) and got black soot from the floor during pictures. Katy was right there removing the black from my dress till it was perfect again, and her team even helped with my 13 month old who ADORED them. At the end of the day, you can't control the weather or the unexpected but man when I say Katy was on top of EVERYTHING, I mean it! Beyond that, she guided me to find the best vendors who we loved. Wedding aside, Katy is one of the most genuinely loving, supportive, and caring people I have ever met. I am so grateful and appreciative to have had her as a coordinator, and will never forget how special she made us feel. Do not hesitate, you will not regret hiring Coastal!!! We love you guys! read more

We can't say enough good things about Katy! She was our wedding planner from 2023 through our big day in April 2025, and she was absolutely incredible every step of the way. From the start, Katy was organized, thoughtful, and truly went above and beyond. She helped us with everything -- planning, scheduling, logistics, vendor coordination, and the many little details we never would've thought of on our own. She made what could have been an overwhelming process feel smooth and manageable. On the day of the wedding, she was an absolute rockstar. Everything ran perfectly, and if there were any hiccups, we didn't notice -- which is exactly what we hoped for. Thanks to Katy, we got to fully enjoy our day, be present with our loved ones, and just soak in every moment without stress. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they've ever attended -- beautifully done, incredibly well coordinated, and full of thoughtful touches. That's all Katy. She also supported us with the events leading up to the wedding, and we were constantly impressed by her attention to detail, calm presence, and how much she truly cared. Katy, thank you for making our best day ever a reality. We'll forever be grateful and would recommend you to anyone in a heartbeat. read more

MAN OH MAN, My review is long overdue and must be shared!!! What can I say abt Katy and her Team?!?!? I was in a wedding as the Best man in a wedding with a couple, family, and friends from NY state August 2021. I know the bride has already expressed how impressed and satisfied she and the groom were but; as part of the bridal party- I WAS SO IMPRESSED with how Katy and the team not only managed the event well, but THE PEOPLE! We as group of people from different backgrounds and cultures including, Haitian, African American, West Indian... ALL PEOPLE OF COLOR! In 2021, we were all on high alert and could not afford to be place under any undue stress or pressure especially when celebrating a God/Good Thing like a Union of 2 of our closest people! It's so important to be able to put your TRUST in a team on such a big day, but they didnt stop at helping the couple- they even HELPED ME as the Best man be in place and be The "Best Man" I needed to be for the Groom! There was not shortage of FUN and support that day. In other words they were "here for the shenanigans" and made sure we were too! Thanks again for doing your best job at making my Friends/family's day THE BEST and one to remember! read more

I cannot say enough about Coastal Coordinating. We threw a big fat Indian/Pakistani wedding with 5 events in 3 day and Katy and Cayla knocked it out of the park. They were extremely detail oriented, calm, organized, and ready for anything. We booked them about 6 months before our wedding date and they took everything in stride. They immediately began organizing vendor meetings and walk throughs. They helped us finalize the last few remaining vendors and were so patient with our innumerable questions and logistical issues as my husband and I live in Texas but got married in Florida. They were available for anything and everything. On the actual event day, we felt like we were never alone (in a good way!). There were team members at the event itself, helping us get ready, on the phone with my family and MOH. They even helped us arrange the cutest welcome bags and itineraries. They made sure my family was well taken care of and had all their questions answered. They were never without an answer and even put up with us as our ceremony timeline changed 180 degrees the morning of. I highly highly recommend them for your next event. read more

Safe to say, if there is nothing else you can decide when it comes to your wedding- book Coastal Coordinating and give yourself the peace of mind knowing that you will be taken care of! Katy is the most present, encouraging, detail oriented, and communicative worker and boss owner I have ever met! She truly gave me her all, both mentally and physically making sure every bit of the planning process was enjoyable and kept me at ease- and I was a COVID bride! When the day of came, she helped me in making crucial last minute decisions while reassuring me that all will be as it's meant to be in the end. While little deviances from the plan are inevitable, I wouldn't change a thing about that day- and can attribute it all to the hard work of Katy and her team. Holding an umbrella over me as it rained, keeping a fan at my neck when I was sweating walking to pictures, changing the seating chart an hour before dinner due to last minute attendees; this team can handle anything and I owe them so much more than way they get! Thank you Katy for being there for me the months leading up to and for that very special day. xoxo Myah read more

We are so beyond grateful for Coastal Coordinating, especially Katy and Aldi!! We lucked out with finding Katy at the end of 2020 (through Marry Me Tampa Bay) and are truly so thankful we did. Working with her over the past year has been nothing short of amazing - planning a wedding out of state can be very stressful but she made everything a breeze and was a much needed breath of fresh air! Katy thinks of absolutely everything and ensures that the wedding day itself (as well as the months and weeks leading up to it) run as smoothly as possible. Our wedding happened to be in Ybor during the Pride Parade - they went above and beyond to make sure our vendors and guests got to the ceremony on time even with road closures and a parade route. They even took "behind the scenes" photos and video footage for us!! My husband and I enjoyed our wedding SO much that we completely forgot to get a picture with her and Aldi (another true gem of Coastal Coordinating!). Thank you Katy, Aldi and Coastal Coordinating for devoting so much of your time and effort in order to give us the wedding of our dreams. read more

We are beyond grateful to have had Melanie from Coastal Coordinating as our day-of coordinator--she was truly the MVP of our wedding day! Melanie went above and beyond in every possible way, doing far more than we ever expected. She was always available when we needed her, joined us for the venue walkthrough the day before, and brought such calm, professional energy to the entire process. Her attention to detail was incredible. The setup in the room was absolutely gorgeous thanks to her eye and organization, and she was always two steps ahead, anticipating needs before we even realized them. She seamlessly coordinated with all our vendors, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish. And on top of all that--when the wedding dress had a last-minute malfunction, Melanie came to the rescue and fixed it like a pro. We couldn't have done it without her! If you're looking for a coordinator who is reliable, thoughtful, calm under pressure, and just an absolute joy to work with--we can't recommend Coastal Coordinating, and especially Melanie, highly enough! read more

Katy from Coastal Coordinating was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, she was incredibly warm, organized, and such a calming presence throughout the entire process. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but Katy has this amazing ability to make everything feel seamless and under control. She went above and beyond in every possible way and exceeded every expectation we had. One of the things that stood out the most to us was her thoughtfulness and initiative--before the wedding had even ended, she had already started cleaning up and organizing everything in the setup room. This small but incredibly meaningful gesture saved my family so much time and allowed them to actually be present and enjoy the night with us, which is truly priceless. Katy didn't just do her job--she genuinely cared, and it showed in every detail. I couldn't be happier with our experience working with her and would recommend her to anyone without hesitation. She made our day feel effortless, and we are so grateful for everything she did. read more

There will never be enough words to express my gratitude for Coastal Coordinating! Katy was my lead coordinator from day one. She is honest, professional, organized, kind, and absolutely AMAZING! Before I was getting married, I was almost dreading the wedding planning process because so many brides made it sound like it was the most stressful experience... I did not feel that way at all!!! Katy made the process fun and enjoyable. I looked forward to our calls every few weeks. I highly recommend the full planning package. They are reasonably priced and WORTH IT! This was hands down the best money I spent on the wedding. A huge shout out to her assistant Carly who was a vital part of the rehearsal and the wedding day. Everything was perfect!!!! Katy is by far THE BEST wedding coordinator I have ever worked with! I am a wedding vendor myself (hair and makeup) with years of experience in the industry, I have worked with so many different coordinators and nobody comes close on how detailed, communicative and kind Katy is! Since the day she reached out to me on behalf of her client until wedding day, she kept the communication super tight, making sure to remind our client of all the things that needed to be done, I was extremely surprised and honored to work with her, and not to mention her beautiful and pleasant personality! The day we met in person (wedding day) she gave me the biggest smile and a sincere hug; I will never forget the experience to work with a true professional who has work ethic and care about her clients so deeply. If you are a bride who is considering hiring a wedding coordinator, please look no further! Katy will make sure you get the best day and experience! read more

Hiring Katy was single handedly the best decision we made for our wedding. My husband and I were on the fence about hiring a wedding planner due to the additional cost but we are so glad we did. You only have a wedding once so everything is new to you. For Katy at Coastal, she does hundreds of weddings a year so she knows what she's doing and how to handle literally any and every situation that is thrown at her. And while she has done hundreds of weddings, she still is so responsive and there for you through the entire process that you feel as though you are her only client. She took the stress completely off our shoulders and made our wedding day the best day of our lives. Katy is organized to a T, knows every vendor in the area to fit all budgets, and will work to make your day an absolute dream and everything you could have ever imagined. read more

AMAZING..PERFECT...EPIC..is the only thing I can think of when I think about the staff at Coastal Coordinating. Katy was my coordinator, but we worked so well together I wanted to ask her to be in my wedding party:) with all of the crazy from COVID and the rescheduling, I could not imagine doing it with anyone else. Frankly, without them I would have not even be married, less know have a wedding so beautiful as the one Katy designed for us. Her staff is amazing and was on top of EVERYTHING. Even if there was a mishap I was not aware because It was so breath taking and beautiful, smooth sailing was all I was feeling!
