Chloe was MIA minutes before the ceremony - the venue had to stick me in a random room to avoid being seen by the groom. Chloe or one of her helpers broke one of my pillars (decor) and proceeded to put it in the ceremony instead of informing me or leaving it out - it looked so awful. Half the florals I had arranged for the reception weren't put out despite paying extra for this service - my bridesmaids and I were the ones having to put them out while guests were lining up to enter the space. The owner is VERY unprofessional and never bothered trying to have a conversation with me about my experience. Instead she made up lies as an excuse for providing such poor service. I did not have a single problem with any of my other vendors. Would not recommend Coastal Coordinating.

The communication, planning, and process followed post contract signing fell wildly below any reasonable expectations. Some examples. - 4 months into the contract we had yet to have a basic task list to follow for all activities after repeated asks and multiple verbal commitments that it would be sent and maintained. - We wouldn't hear back for multiple weeks at a time for simple requests or questions. We tried to establish some communication expectations when this first happened but still across email, phone, text we wouldn't hear back for weeks at a time. Most recently we hadn't heard from her in nearly a month. - Majority of all vendor outreach had to be completed by us and barely any recommendations were shared in any reasonable timeframe. We had to prod multiple times to get the basics. There was no process here at all or project management from Apsara. At time of termination, we had yet to receive recommendations for key vendors and still handled over 90% of all vendor communications. - Every (yes, every) deadline or expectation that was set either via phone, text, or email was missed. This was usually without providing any heads up. We were very hopeful and excited to work with Sokha and the team but our experience left us more stressed and behind schedule. I don't believe the team has a lot of support presently (it looks like maybe there was a team in the past but now is nonexistent) and is taking on more work than they can possibly support effectively. It is not appropriate or just to do so when someone has the responsibility to help a couple on such an important part of their journey. I am happy to discuss with anyone to share our experiences here if helpful to avoid what we went through.

The owner responded by stating the date and time were available along with the package options and pricing. Upon reading, I quickly realized this was not in my budget. I had another venue tour scheduled which WAS in my budget and responded to the owner by stating that I'd rather NOT waste her time by scheduling a tour. She INSISTED that I schedule a tour and that we could discuss a discounted price if I could provide an invoice from the other venue with what their package included. The day before the our viewing with LeVenue, I emailed the owner with the other venues invoice. No response. I sent a follow up email later that evening to see if she received it. AGAIN, no response. I show up the day of the tour to find that the tour isn't even with the owner, but an associate. When asked about the discounted rate discussed via email, she wasn't aware of it. After a phone call, she returns and states that they are NOT able to honor the discounted rate for the date and time I requested. But they could if they couldn't get another event for that date and time, 30 days before. Excuse me? It was a blatant lack of respect for our time and a slap in the face when she mentioned that I could have it for that price if they couldn't get another booking. This is NOT how you should run a business. Please look at the emails below.
