They've cancelled my order last minute more than once. I'm sure the food's good but I can never actually get it after I order it

This was my first time here. A really sweet lady helped me…read morepick out a few things from all of the delicious desserts. She said her husband baked everything. I bought a bunch of things to take home. Cinnamon roll was AMAZING!!! So soft & perfectly sweet. The Chocolate chip cookies were yummy... not too sweet. I also had guava pie, Tatianof chocolate cake, Leonesa, and another cookie that had guava in the center. Everything was delicious! The sweet lady said they also custom order cakes & cheesecake! I'll definitely be back for more delicious desserts. Highly recommend!

What an awesomely delicious little spot!! If you enjoy the indigestion from Publix or Winn Dixie…read morebakery, if that is one of the reasons you purchase bakery there, don't come here! They don't use the same cheap ingredients here. The stuff here is not thaw and serve, or bake from frozen. This place has real homemade cookies, donuts, cakes, cupcakes, scones. It was wonderful to find this little gem! Speaking of finding it....it IS in the same little strip of stores where the restaurant (currently Hudson Crab House, fka Rogers Chicago Beef & Pizza) and the mini-mart is. It's literally between the two. In the center of the building. In the morning, just park at the Crab House. They aren't open anyway. The bakery does NOT have a roof sign. They are under the gap between the restaurant and mini-mart. The owner was there this morning. Super sweet woman! The bakery all looks wonderful. I went in to try a donut, maybe 2. I left with 2 donuts, 2 cupcakes, and a strawberry bread! Donuts are definitely not from frozen, and are fresh cooked. You know how eclairs have a hole at one end and they squirt some greasy custard in the hole to fill it? Not here!! She slices the cake in half lengthwise and spreads real custard over the bottom half and puts the top on! It's like a donut custard sandwich!! The glazed donut was good too. Fresh fried, not greasy. I asked what flavor the black and white cupcakes were. She said a marble cake with custard - which sounded interesting. Like real moist or something. I was shocked when I cut it in half! Think about the process she did to make these! You aren't finding cupcakes like these at a grocery store! They tasted even better than they looked! Haven't tried the strawberry bread yet, but it smells great and should make amazing PB&J sandwiches this week!! They also take special orders for cakes! I wish I would have got a couple pics inside, because th couple cakes she had ready to purchase looked great! You need to try this place!

Corey made our wedding cake back in 2015, and let me tell you - NO cake has ever come close. I've…read morebeen to big cities tasting some of the most well-known bakeries, but Corey's cake is still always my favorite. Corey made all completely custom flavors for our wedding cake - and all were incredibly delicious. He also completely nailed the design I wanted. Literally - the cake of my dreams! Oh, did I mention that Corey himself is just an absolute delight? He is a warm, friendly guy who truly cares for his customers. First day you meet him, he treats you like family. Now, it would be silly of me to do a review of an experience from nearly 6 years ago. It would be a little irrelevant. Good thing I can tell you I have had more recent experiences, and they have all been just as fabulous. We asked him last year for our 5th anniversary if he could recreate our wedding cake layers. I realized in the shuffle of everything that we only tried 1 layer of the 3 custom flavors we chose. He made 3 small versions of each layer, and they were all spectacular. And even more recently, my cousin just used him for her wedding cake. I have zero idea what the flavor was. I know she walked me through it, and my initial impression of the flavors they chose wasn't very good. Not like they were terrible, it was just personal preferences - flavors I typically don't like. I have NO idea what they placed in front of me last night, but all I can tell you is it was DELICIOUS. Corey has consistently made the best cake I've ever had for the past 6 years. Oh... I should add. My cousin asked for a naked cake, and he did a spectacular job. The cake was stunning.
