This was my first time here with my daughter, and I live very close to this place and didn't know it. lol. Anyway, we walked in, and it is your typical diner atmosphere with a few seats and just felt cozy like a mom and pop kind of place. A young girl told us it was open seating, so we chose the nearest booth. Once we sat down, and made ourselves comfortable, the server brought us menus and asked what we wanted to drink. I got coffee and water, and my daughter asked for orange juice. The coffee was very, very good. I drank 2 cups before my food even arrived. We didn't wait very long before the food came, and it was a LOT of food. We both had to box it up and take it home. We both got the same thing, which was the scrambled bowl (I hope that's the correct name of the dish). It was very good. We both had the loaded egg with American cheese on it and it came with a busicut, toast, or bagel and since I can't eat bread, my daughter had my biscuit. She devoured that. She said she loved how the bread had just the right amount of toasting on the top, as though they butter it and put it face down on the grill. I will definitely be back again! WOW!! After seeing all these amazing reviews, I had to try this place out for breakfast and am SOOOOO glad we did! The food was all fantastic and service was so refreshing, like the old diners where you could chat with the waitresses and feel like you live in a small town. The food was like eating a home cooked meal and the serving sizes and options were plentiful. This is a small cafe with limited seating, we were lucky to go on a Sunday and didn't have to wait-probably just picked a good time. They also have lunch and serve dinners on Thursday and Friday. We were the only ones in restaurant. Servers were nice. We each got the eggs benedict. One with homefries and one with hashbrowns. The homefries were still frozen. The food came out quick. We also had mimosas which were really good. We wanted to try something other than Florida Cracker. We prefer Florida Cracker. read more

Sorry to say but not impressed. Limited options for breakfast but still enough to make a decent choice. I ordered biscuits and gravy with a side of cheese grits. Asked if the gravy was canned or homemade. Was told gravy was homemade and they cut up linked sausage and added it. Based on the taste and texture my guess is that was a packaged gravy mixture. It came out like warm at best and the biscuit wasn't thrilling. Cheese grits I believe were instant grits and not fully cooked. Wife had club breakfast. Eggs were cooked perfect but bacon had a strange taste and was hard and chewy (almost like jerkey). Home fries were very good, crispy and flavorful but may have been slightly over seasoned. Server was nice and attentive so no complaints there. read more

Amazing food! I have been here at least 5 times and each time was wonderful. I need to go back for dinner eras their menu looks amazing! The owners are awesome too and carry a great conversation. They serve mimosas and bloody Mary's for brunch so how can you go wrong? The atmosphere is casual but inviting so for sure give it a try! read more

What a gem! First time coming after seeing Isiah''s interview with Hernando Sun. It definitely will not be the last. Service was great. We were greeted with a waitress who told us the specials and what was generally liked by others who frequent the restaurant. My husband ordered an everything omelet and I ordered the eggs Benedict. First off, the coffee was great! The food was excellent. Compliments to the chef, Jared. The eggs Benedict was not runny nor hard. Perfectly done with delicious holandaise sauce and genuine Canadian bacon instead of ham. Our waitress gave us the recipe for the crispy outside and tender inside of the home fries. And then, the military discount (10%) and the cash discount (4%), we really were pleasantly surprised. We will be back soon to try the "egg salad" sandwich, and other things. read more

Food: The menu photos do not do the food justice. You can see they care and respect their customers by providing good tasting food, served with attention and class. I had breakfast, though they serve lunch and dinner as well. The eggs over-easy were perfectly cooked. The pancakes which are normally forgettable at most places - were thin, delicious and the two I requested - were just not enough. Next time getting more! We decided to try somewhere new for Mother's Day and to keep it local. We were immediately greeted upon entering. The location is not big by any means but they have both booths and tables for seating. We were sat rather quickly and greeted by our server within a minute. A nice surprise was I was treated to beautiful rose and a "Momosa" for coming in this day. Our waitress was extremely friendly and we enjoyed the service we received. The food was great! I had seen this place talked about on the Hernando County Restaurant group on Facebook. My friend and I decided to check it out. I think I had some reservations going in because there were like 3 restaurants in the area with the name Legend. Legend Sushi is basically trash, and Legends at Silverthorn closed and rebranded and sounds fancy since it's a high-end golf community clubhouse. So I was confused with all the Legend stuff in the area... but I guess they are all unrelated. I'm glad I tried this restaurant because it was really amazing. I had some special of the day hot chicken sandwich, which was pretty spicy but very flavorful. My friend had a burger, and he loved it. Both of our sandwiches came with hot seasoned fries. I don't like cole slaw, but my friend ate it and loved it. The server was also super friendly and attentive, although we were one of two tables with customers. Definitely will be back. read more

Casual dining with a well prepared staff that knows the menus and hours of operation. Our server's name was Tammy she was very knowledgeable and kind. When she came to our table she stated that she had one table ahead of us and she would be right over. She did not disappoint. I ordered the shrimp and cheese grits my son ordered the Legends breakfast bowl with ham, sausages, spinach eggs and cheese.. I tasted it and it was good. I found out that I don't like cheese on my grits and now I know to not get the cheese the next time. The prices were reasonable. I enjoyed the fried haddock sandwich very much. I didn't like onions so removed them. I found the sub type bun somewhat difficult and messy to eat. The French fries were frozen crinkle cut. The waitress was excellent and she even offered me 10% off as a retired teacher. That and other walks of life are included in that offer. I would return again. read more
