Friendly, clean, calm and delicious food. Treat yourself to the hash brown casserole and a "grilled" biscuit.

The inside is bare, empty and unassuming. The booths are ripped and tables wearing. Walls are missing paint and it looks like it hasn't been updated since the 80's although these owners have only been there for 4 years. But you just sit back and listen to the Latin music in peace imagining you are in Cuba as you eat. If ambience is what you are looking for, a to go order would be better. If none of that matters, take a seat and enjoy your food hot. Service is fine but I was the only one there If you're in the area make a stop

Came by this restaurant by way of a Yelp search for restaurants in the area…read more I had read the reviews and it looked like it was well know for its Cuban sandwich. Me and hubby walk in and are greeted immediately with a friendly hello. When we were seated, we told the man that seated us we were newbies. He brought us out our water and told us to take our time looking over the menu. When were were ready to order, we decided to just split the cuban sandwich and get an order of fries. When the food came out, (on two plates!!) we were so glad we did decide to split the sandwich. It was HUGE!! It was also SO GOOD!! Fries were nice and hot and crispy. Highly recommend this place, when we get back to FL we want to try some more of the other tasty sounding menu items.

Stellar service as soon as I walked in and that continued with Piper, my server. The fries could have been crispier (I asked for them crispy/well done) but the fish sandwich was the star of the show so I didn't mind. I chose the local IPA over the sierra Nevada Hazy and there was no contest - a much better IPA. The Grouper sandwich was MP so I asked, I got severely burned at Legal Seafoods in Boston last year when Mr, Big Shot didn't ask first. Sam's is a wonderful place for all your eating needs.

I had just eaten a huge breakfast, but had to stop. This place is so warm and welcoming, so cool and laid back, so friendly and chill. It's great for all ages. There's a huge deck, overlooking the Gulf... and an extra tiki bar, off to the side (and who doesn't need an extra tiki bar?!) The food menu is tempting and extensive (grouper, stop calling to me!) and the drink menu is fun and fabulous (and also calling to me). I had a banana/amoretto concoction that made me wonder what I'd been doing with my life, when I should have been here. I kept trying to get hungry enough to order food, but couldn't do it. I'll just have to go back ASAP and get you the seafood and starters info you richly deserve. Sam's is right there on the waterfront, next to the picnic pavilion. The private parking lot is sort of small-but somehow I snagged that spot at noon on a Saturday. There's also street parking close by. I'll bet it's packed at night, though, when they have live music and it's sunset time. Come check them out. If you get there before me, please tell me about the food!
