The Yelp reviews were good so I gave this a try. I sat at the counter since I was by myself. The waitresses were very friendly and chatty between customers. Several people came in for carry out. I had the highly recommended Tunisian Kofta. If you like salad and beef/lamb patties you'll like this. Was very good. The menu has a few Mediterranean specialties. The rest of the large menu is American. This family restaurant is huge and bright with large corner windows. There are a few patio tables. An ice cream counter seems popular. This is my second time visiting Mediterranean diner. I ordered the chicken quesadilla with cheese and my friend ordered a pastrami Reuben. They was very good. The place was spotless. Lots of parking and everything seem to be the same as it was before. Our White House was OK. She could've been a little more friendly and not quite so short with her answers to our questions. I know she got a little snippy with my friend who didn't quite understand what was on the sandwich. But she was nice. She checked on us often and made sure we made everything we needed. read more

Linda was excellent. Gave us great service during lunch. After delivering the food quickly, she came to the table several times to refill our drinks. Two of us had the spanakopita with Greek salad and one had a burger and fries. The food was good. I had the pie, one had no dessert, and one of us had the baklava. The desserts were excellent. the first time we went there it was very good so we came back again last Saturday and this time was really bad. I ordered the chicken souvlaqui platter and the chicken was hard as a shoe sole . it was unbreakable, very weird thing. I call the server and she took the pieces of chicken back to the kitchen. A few minutes later a lady came to our table, i supposed she was the manager , she apologized and made a lot of excuses about the cook that they fired ,but that was all. No offering something else or take it off of the check. I was surprised of how poor attention and mediocre customer service we got there. The only thing the server offered was a little ice cream which i declined. I eat the little rice and salad from the platter ,but no meat and i was charged $14.99! I left the restaurant hungry and i told my husband i wont ever come back there. I understand they are not big and they are trying to make some profit, but we will go to the greek restaurants we know and serve quality food not disgusting chicken that is very suspicious to me. Great omelette. I'm a fry guy and I was able to sub home fries for French fry's. House made Tzatziki was fantastic. Michelle was a great waitress! The staff works together helping each other out with coffee refills and what not. The place is on the corner of mini mall and has plenty of seating. I was able to walk in and sit down at 9:00 am. We had to call her over twice just to come back and get the forgotten folks' orders. Then we had to ask for drinks several times. Not refills.... The actual drink order. I love this restaurant, but twice now my husband has gotten food poisoning from eggs that were under cooked. So now he refuses to eat here. I don't blame him because the food poisoning hit him on a nine hour flight to Brussels. The service is great the place looks clean, but nothing matters when you don't cook the food correctly. My husband ended up in the emergency room in a foreign country which cost us thousands. The chef needs to learn how to cook the food correctly before he kills someone. read more

The service was super friendly. Dina, our server, was genuinely interested in our experience and how was liked the food. I am from NY and have tried various restaurants' hummus and falafel. This was easily the best I've have tried. The hummus was well balanced and smooth. The falafel was crunchy on the outside, moist and flavorful on the inside. Nothing worse than dry falafel, lacking flavor. Salads were crisp and had fresh produce. The Tunisian kofta was moist and flavorful as well. Breakfast is easy. You know, some eggs, some kind of meat, maybe a little potato, some toast, coffee. It's pretty hard to mess up. In fact, I would say that it takes more effort to make a bad breakfast than it takes to make a good one. Well, let me tell you, this place is willing to put in the effort! My wife and I decided to go on a breakfast date here. When we got here it was very clean. That was nice. Our server was attentive and kind. She was nice. Then our food arrived. It was not nice. I ordered medium rare strip steak and scrambled eggs with hash browns and a side of hollandaise. My wife got shakshuka. We also ordered a side of corned beef hash to share. What I got was a plate of well done beef gristle and somehow, in defiance of all known laws of nature, rubbery hash browns. My wife got two eggs floating in wet salsa. The corned beef hash tasted like someone had opened a can of corned beef hash, put it in a colander, rinsed it, then fried it. Have you ever tasted Hollandaise sauce? Because the cooks at the Mediterranean have not. The hollandaise I received appeared to have been made by someone that had only ever seen a picture of it on TV. It was thin, and, I cannot exaggerate this enough, completely flavorless. This breakfast was so bad, we needed a safe word. After this breakfast my wife and I could not wait to get home so that we could finally get something to eat. Maybe the lunch menu is better. We'll never know, because anyone that can screw up breakfast this badly simply cannot be trusted with food that requires skill to make. read more

The first thing that impresses is it's clean, - here I mean squeaky clean. The ambiance is also Mediterranean in that the tables are not squeezed together, giving it an open leisure experience. There was no loud music, no TVs to distract from the "Cafe" ambiance. The service seemed also Euro in it wasn't constant or lacking. It was polite respectful courteous and helpful. But the food was more than delicious, it was memorable. The main meal was spiced appropriately, the salad was worthy of note with a wonderful dressing. The cook had it perfect.
