Finally decided to give this restaurant a try after seeing it around the area so many times, stopping in for lunch around noon. It was pretty busy when we arrived, and from what I could tell, there were only one or two servers working the tables. We walked in and stood there for about five minutes without anyone acknowledging us or coming over to seat us. It may have been a "seat yourself" type of situation, but there was a gentleman talking with another customer while we stood by the register waiting to be helped. We may give it another try sometime to see if our experience is different, but being ignored for several minutes right when we walked in was enough for us to leave and head next door to SoFresh for lunch instead. read more

Christo's menu is so extensive that it might be overwhelming. It was for our Italian family, who are 91, 94 and 102! But we helped them find delicious meals that satisfied them at the restaurant, and one of our family even had leftovers! This is my go to place in Trinity for excellent service, fantastic selections and portions, and good tasting food all the time. Husband had the corned beef on rye with coleslaw. He enjoyed both. I had the Waldorf salad which was a work of art before I dug in. I was hungry and forgot to take its picture first. It was so big that I took half home for lunch the next day. Our family enjoyed the corned beef sandwich with slaw and fries (took half the sandwich home), the grilled cheese with ham, and the grilled cheese with a cup of lemon soup. Love this place. My sister came to visit from Texas and we tried Christo's on a Thursday, then Sunday my husband and I went back. They are very busy, but on top of refilling your coffee or tea. Everyone is very pleasant and helps each other out. I had 2 eggs, half ham and a waffle. The waffle was the best I've ever had. I can't wait to go back and try the lunch menu. This was our first time going here. Overall the food was just okay, I got just a simple egg combo plate but the eggs were overcooked and dry - even with cheese. The home fries were cooked fine but had no seasoning at all. The service was not too great, we had to wait quite a bit to get spoken to at first, seems like the staff is too concerned with their regulars. This happened multiple times throughout our time there, took forever to get a to go box. The biggest issue which the staff couldn't exactly do something immediately about is that there were a lot of ants on our table, it's obvious they don't do a great job at cleaning the tables as there were crumbs behind the salt and pepper shakers, so they probably just do quick wipes of the table and leave it at that. We had the #16, which was two eggs prepared the way you like them, your choice of pancake or French toast, and your choice of sausage or bacon. The food came out hot & fresh with both the over-easy eggs & bacon cooked perfectly. To me, bacon has to be neither floppy or crunchy, but rather somewhere in between & that's exactly where it was. Service was quick & pleasant. The only knock on the whole visit was the guy at the register, apparently the owner's son, who quickly seated us while speaking Greek on his cellphone so not much of fa greeter for sure. When we were leaving he was nowhere to be found so a server came over to check us out. He eventually resurfaced as we were walking out the door, still speaking in Greek. I thought it unprofessional, maybe a tad rude. Hopefully this isn't the norm for him. I did deduct a star because of him. read more

I'm trying this place again and I walked in nobody at the counter. I hear somebody saying could I help you and I didn't see anybody? I finally noticed that the person was sitting down with a customer. That's no way to meet and greet someone coming into the restaurant. Then I ordered an egg and cheese sandwich and I told her I wanted the yolk well done. I get to my office and the yolk is runny and there's no cheese. So I can say my experience was not satisfactory. Omelettes should not be cooked to brown in my opinion. I had a Belgian waffle and was not given any butter to go with it. Also, the syrup they provide is incredibly watery and lacks sweetness. I thought maybe my tastebuds were doing something funny so I doused a piece of waffle in syrup and asked my wife to try and she confirmed. The waitress just said that's all they had and more/less blew me off. I kinda hope something was wrong with it and they don't use that tasteless syrup on a regular basis. Never got confirmation. Wonderful Trinity staple for breakfast and lunch. They are open 7-230 seven days a week. Came here for breakfast on a Saturday. There was no wait but they were filling up. Our server was excellent, I could tell she was very busy but she still took great care of us. I had the 3 egg veggie frittata and sliced tomatoes. Very fresh and filled with veggies. I was impressed they offered gluten free bread which I tasted and was actually pretty good. They have an extensive breakfast and lunch menu. Something for everyone. Popped in with the Parents and number 1 son for breakfast on a sunday morning. We must have just gotten in before the sunday rush because we were seated quickly. Our waitress was direct and efficient in getting our order etc. Took a bit for the coffee, but not too too bad. We got a variety of breakfast including the standard bacon egg fare, sausage biscuits and french toast. Portions were generous. I'm at that part of the year where I start looking for all new places to visit. Both my guys support this and so today the three of us spun the Yelp dial and found Christo's by accident. We plugged in the address into the GPS and made our way, beating the Sunday Church crowds but apparently that in it's self wasn't enough, Sunday is a BUSY day with the regulars too. And having eaten here now, I know why! Christo's is GOOD! We were one of two groups of three waiting to be seated, but we didn't wait long, only about 10 minutes, once a table was cleared, we were seated, and our waitress was RIGHT there. We all had coffee and water as our drinks. She got that for us, while we perused the large menu. The husbeastie was feeling brunchie, so he got himself the Monte Christo, but the beau and I were both feeling breakfast-y, so we both essentially got the same meal, the 2+2+2 (#16) but I got pumpkin pancakes where he got himself the french toast. The food came out quickly and it was -delicious-! The eggs that we had on our platters were done to perfection and the cheese (Since we had that added on) was melted in. The pumpkin pancakes were dense but absolutely amazing, and the bacon was so yummy. I had a piece of the french toast and that too was so incredibly tasty. The Monte Cristo sandwich was thick and a touch different than I've seen them done in the past, there was no grape jelly in it either, but the husbeastie liked his and the onion rings, that came as the side with it, were crispy and flavourful.
