Christo's menu is so extensive that it might be overwhelming. It was for our Italian family, who are 91, 94 and 102! But we helped them find delicious meals that satisfied them at the restaurant, and one of our family even had leftovers! This is my go to place in Trinity for excellent service, fantastic selections and portions, and good tasting food all the time. Husband had the corned beef on rye with coleslaw. He enjoyed both. I had the Waldorf salad which was a work of art before I dug in. I was hungry and forgot to take its picture first. It was so big that I took half home for lunch the next day. Our family enjoyed the corned beef sandwich with slaw and fries (took half the sandwich home), the grilled cheese with ham, and the grilled cheese with a cup of lemon soup. Love this place. My sister came to visit from Texas and we tried Christo's on a Thursday, then Sunday my husband and I went back. They are very busy, but on top of refilling your coffee or tea. Everyone is very pleasant and helps each other out. I had 2 eggs, half ham and a waffle. The waffle was the best I've ever had. I can't wait to go back and try the lunch menu. I love they have the pledge of allegiance hanging up and American flags. I love the decor they have up. read more

This was our first time going here. Overall the food was just okay, I got just a simple egg combo plate but the eggs were overcooked and dry - even with cheese. The home fries were cooked fine but had no seasoning at all. The service was not too great, we had to wait quite a bit to get spoken to at first, seems like the staff is too concerned with their regulars. This happened multiple times throughout our time there, took forever to get a to go box. The biggest issue which the staff couldn't exactly do something immediately about is that there were a lot of ants on our table, it's obvious they don't do a great job at cleaning the tables as there were crumbs behind the salt and pepper shakers, so they probably just do quick wipes of the table and leave it at that. I'm trying this place again and I walked in nobody at the counter. I hear somebody saying could I help you and I didn't see anybody? I finally noticed that the person was sitting down with a customer. That's no way to meet and greet someone coming into the restaurant. Omelettes should not be cooked to brown in my opinion. I had a Belgian waffle and was not given any butter to go with it. Also, the syrup they provide is incredibly watery and lacks sweetness. I thought maybe my tastebuds were doing something funny so I doused a piece of waffle in syrup and asked my wife to try and she confirmed. We had the #16, which was two eggs prepared the way you like them, your choice of pancake or French toast, and your choice of sausage or bacon. The food came out hot & fresh with both the over-easy eggs & bacon cooked perfectly. To me, bacon has to be neither floppy or crunchy, but rather somewhere in between & that's exactly where it was. Service was quick & pleasant. The only knock on the whole visit was the guy at the register, apparently the owner's son, who quickly seated us while speaking Greek on his cellphone so not much of fa greeter for sure. When we were leaving he was nowhere to be found so a server came over to check us out. He eventually resurfaced as we were walking out the door, still speaking in Greek. Walked in and immediately greeted by a very friendly staff. The restaurant was almost full but staff and customers seemed like family or long friends the way they talked to each other. Did a quick search on Yelp for breakfast and landed on Christo's. There wasn't a wait for my group of 4 on a Sunday morning. Not sure if we just got lucky or if this is the new normal for them during Covid. Either way, we were glad to be seated right away. The space is warm and inviting. There's table and booth seating. Their menu offers continental cuisine. My family ordered various items from coffee and hot chocolate to omelets and pancakes. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the portions were generous. Had not been to Christo's in quite some time and was surprised by how much it had changed! The seating was so much nicer and the staff was more friendly. Even better was the fact that the food was better than I expected! Only open for breakfast & lunch - they close at 3 pm. Wonderful Trinity staple for breakfast and lunch. They are open 7-230 seven days a week. Came here for breakfast on a Saturday. There was no wait but they were filling up. Our server was excellent, I could tell she was very busy but she still took great care of us. I had the 3 egg veggie frittata and sliced tomatoes. Very fresh and filled with veggies. I was impressed they offered gluten free bread which I tasted and was actually pretty good. They have an extensive breakfast and lunch menu. Something for everyone. It's located in a strip mall with other stores and restaurants so there's parking available there. Family owned and run and has been at this location for 14 years. If I could leave a zero I would. We arrived at 2:20 for lunch and they said they were closed. They don't close until 2:30. We asked why and they said - just because. I said it's not 2:30 and we are headed to the airport. No sorry. Just we are closed. Then it became - we are closing because of the storm. Mind you, if a storm is headed to Tampa area, the earliest it's hitting is Sunday morning. This place was really busy on a Sunday -- the after church crowd, likely. A nice little, family-owned place. Food was good. My mom ordered the Monte Christo and said it wasn't an authentic version (they're supposed to prepare the sandwich first, then batter it up and cook, but Cristo's sandwich was prepared after they battered the individual slices and cooked). I had the grilled cheese and it was good. My step dad had an omelet with home fries and he liked his. The place has gone down hill big time. The place has been listed on dirty dining and has failed many food inspections. It's gotten so bad that servers have quit and went somewhere else to serve. The last meal I had there, was horrible. The food was cool and did not taste right. I said something to the server and she did nothing about it. I even had to pay for it. Popped in with the Parents and number 1 son for breakfast on a sunday morning. We must have just gotten in before the sunday rush because we were seated quickly. Our waitress was direct and efficient in getting our order etc. Took a bit for the coffee, but not too too bad.
