I wanted a Cuban real bad. So after church hubs brought me here to get. Located in a cute little strip plaza or restaurants. It was easy to find and park. They have inside and outside seating available. You walk up and place your order and they bring it out to you if dining in. We got ours to go. They were quick and the Cubans are made fresh. The smell in this place is amazing! We got 2 Cubans and 2 stuffed potatoes. The Cubans were delicious and so were the potato balls. A must try if in the area.

Nice little corner breakfast/lunch Cuban cafe in Trinity. Had a savory beef empanada ($3.75) and the huge portioned flavorful Roast Pork Meal ($10.50) with Black Beans and Yellow Rice and a side of Cuban toast. A lot of authentic Cuban cuisine for a hearty lunch at a very fair price! They also supply their wide range of crispy Cuban sandwiches at the Thirsty Buffalo Brewery nearby.

What a cute little wonderful coffee/sandwich shop! I feel like I've found a hidden gem. I can't remember the ladies name but she was from Brooklyn, and oh my she was such a delight to talk to! I got an egg bacon cheese Cuban breakfast sandwich and it was amazing! They also have outside tables! I will definitely be back :)

This is a quaint little cafe with some really great food and cafe con leche. I've driven past this place a few times on my way to Starkey Market and decided to stop in - the woman behind the counter was friendly and greeted us right away. I ordered a cafe con leche, ham croquettas, and a guava & cheese and guava pastry. Everything was great. The cafe con leche was fantastic - and the croquettas are a steal, highly recommend trying them! The pastries were also great - the guava & cheese pastry is really big and the pastry is nice and flaky. It was nice to stumble across this little spot, we enjoyed it and will visit again!

After years of driving by Havana Dreamers Cafe, we finally had the chance to try it in January. My family and I rented bikes from the shop next door and worked up an appetite after our ride. We popped in to Havana Dreamers Cafe and were greeted right away. The staff was friendly and helpful. The space is cozy and welcoming. I ordered a cafe con leche and two guava and cheese pastries. We took them to-go and devoured them at our hotel. The cafe con leche was smooth and the pastries were delicious! Big, too. The prices were also reasonable. Glad I finally got to try Havana Dreamers Cafe! Can't wait to try more items next time we're in Trinity.

My husband and I live to come here and get Cuban coffee and Cuban bread. They have the best. It's not very big inside, but they do have outside seating. The employees are friendly and quick getting your drinks and food out. This is a must try place

Very friendly staff. Very clean dining room. Staff were helpful on selecting the right bread, 5 different choices. We had the Tampa Cubano and the Cubano . Both were great. Decided to try the Cafe con leche, terrific. Made with passion.

Nice Cuban coffee shop with casual seating inside and outside. Staff is helpful and service is good. This is a great morning stop for coffee or a breakfast sandwich with a Cuban twist. Parking on the street or in the lot nearby.

Just a follow up, to show the consistency of this place. In my opinion, it is a hidden gem with the best Cuban sandwich I have had anywhere. I know I said that in the last review, but just look at this thing. When something is great, and you come back six months later and it's still great.... well, then this place is a winner! The people are always friendly, the service is quick, and you got a nice little outdoor or indoor area to eat. I know in this review I only took a picture of the sandwich hopefully the other pictures from previous review are still here to show. That is such a cool little place!

This was my 2nd time here! The first my friend introduced it to me, this time I introduced another friend! After a long hike at Starkey, this was the perfect vibe! I love how it's a quaint little cafe! The staff was super friendly! We both ordered the Miami Cuban and Cafe Con Leche! The Cuban was AMAZING! The roasted pork was fresh and hot! The bread was "light" and crispy and the whole thing was full of goodness! The Cafe Con Leche came out piping hot, and once cooked tasted like an amazing dessert!! I can't wait to go back, hopefully much sooner!

We decided to stop by for lunch and enjoy the food while soaking in the market's lively surroundings. From the menu, we ordered: Chicken Wings with Garlic Parmesan, Nachos,Smothered BBQ Chicken Sandwich, Bruschetta, Fried Green Tomatoes. We started our meal with the Chicken Wings and Nachos. The wings were perfectly cooked, flavorful, and coated in a rich Garlic Parmesan sauce. The nachos were crispy, well-seasoned, and paired nicely with the wings. The highlight of our meal was the Smothered BBQ Chicken Sandwich--a juicy, tender chicken patty topped with fresh salad. We wrapped up our lunch with Bruschetta, a fresh and flavorful Italian classic, which was the perfect way to end our meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our food from The Trough at Starkey Market. It's a great spot for a casual, delicious meal with fresh ingredients.

I suggest going on Wednesdays for 75cent wing day and loading up then. Their garlic parmesean is the best I have tasted in a long time. Estuary -- downtown NPR…read more Nice clean, minimalist decor. The room is lively--read: noisy. Fine for a fun night out, maybe not ideal for a first date where conversation matters. So, no substitutions. The menu says so, the server will remind you, and honestly? It's a chef driven menu. Interesting background, too: Chef/owner James Renew spent 28 years training with chefs across Florida, Las Vegas, and Sydney before opening Estuary. Apparently, they've been voted among the best restaurants in the Tampa area two consecutive years running. It shows. We started with the crab beignets -- crispy, golden, and paired with a jalapeño aioli that managed to be interesting without setting your face on fire. Nicely done, though I wouldn't have minded a little more kick. The steak frites were the star of the show. The steak was cooked absolutely perfectly. The fries? Cooked in duck fat. DUCK FAT. Honestly, tasted like fries to me -- and a little underdone at that. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly proud of the place -- rightfully so. The Buffalo Trace Manhattan on the rocks was dangerously good. Drinks all around were solid. Total came to just over $100 for two before tip -- fair for this quality. Fair warning though -- they tack on a 3% credit card surcharge. Unnecessary and a little annoying at this price point. Nice higher end restaurant in the new downtown. Reasonable prices without being pretentious. We'll be back.

Is the food plated beautifully? Yes. Is it worth the price, lack of flexibility, and overall taste?…read moreNot really. The service was good, and the atmosphere makes it a nice local spot to meet up with friends. However, the inability to modify your meal/sides at all was frustrating. The food, flavor, and what tasted like literal microwaved mashed potatoes was disappointing to say the least and definitely did not justify the price point. Overall, it just wasn't worth it for us, but I can see how others might still enjoy it for the ambiance.
