Well, all I have to really say is the manger should be fired. Not sure if the lady working the front was the manager or not. 40-50 people walked out because they were not seating anyone. 70-80 percent of the tables were empty. Was originally told 40 minutes. Tables were half full. Plenty of seating. Then there's 6 ahead. Another hour? Waited two hours. Asked why and was told they weren't seating anyone because the kitchen was backed up. Well I was watching the kitchen from where I was. 6 in the kitchen, 1 working. 3 waitresses eating. Finally left and went to get hooked. Seated in minutes and they are three times as busy! With this kind of management they will be belly up soon!

Pulled pork nachos

Went here for dinner with some friends and we were drawn in by the idea of watching the sunset over the water--it did not disappoint. The view was absolutely gorgeous and definitely the highlight of the evening. I have a wheat allergy, so the menu was a bit limited for me since many items were fried or had breading. For the table, we ordered the fried pickles and the pulled pork nachos. For four people, it was a lot of food. The nachos were decent but nothing standout, and I couldn't try the pickles because of the breading. For my entrée, I ordered the blackened grouper with potatoes and vegetables. The grouper itself was fresh and flavorful, but the sides fell short. The potatoes had an odd taste, and the vegetables were just okay--I ended up adding extra salt and pepper for flavor. Honestly, I was already pretty full from the nachos, so I mainly focused on the fish. Overall, the meal was hit-or-miss, but the beautiful sunset made the experience worthwhile.

Visited on a Saturday night and the vibes were fantastic! I forget our server's name but he was great. The hostess Carrie I believe was also very accommodating. We ordered the fish and chips and fried shrimp. The fish was delicious but very heavily battered and fried. The shrimp was also delicious and not as heavy. Best part was the sunset views. Live band on Saturdays. Perfect local experience I definitely recommend :)

Outdoor patio seating

Such high expectations and potential with some disappointing qualities. As I read other reviews we wanted to give it a shot to give it the benefit of the doubt, but I would agree with the majority of the experiences that it's a awesome location for the view and ambiance as the outdoor deck/patio is perfect for a beautiful sunset. However the food quality and service was lacking a bit! Granted we had a big party but food did take a while to come out and one or two dishes were forgotten and some of us had to wait a little longer. The New England clam chowder had to be sent back as it was not edible. It was spoiled and rancid and super sour. Food quality was nothing spectacular nor memorable as it was basic and generic tasting bar and grille type menu items and presentations. Love the setting and ambience, but didn't love the food as much and drinks as much.

Every time we come here, It gets better and better. It's our go-to spot when guests come into town. The food is always plentiful and flavorful. A bucket of mussels! Even pacing ourselves, it was a lot. And the staff never seems to rush you because they know after 6:00, you're there not just for the delicious food, or the live music but it's great place to catch a sunset.

Been here a couple of times now. Great spot for cold, strong cocktails and amazing sunsets. The bartenders are great and still nice under pressure. It gets pretty busy around sunset however I've never had an issue finding a seat at the bar or parking for that matter. It's a great spot. Beautiful views. Oh and the food! Good! Large portions and very reasonable prices for a beach spot!

Food was awesome, I enjoyed, the drinks from another planet, delicious. Service 10/10 very attentive the staff. Ambience , what can I say, they have one of the best views in the area. Very clean place.

I had so much shrimp. I had to bring them home and I cut them up and put them on a salad. Yum!

I'm a regular at Sam's. You can't beat the view, the dolphins and all the boats going by. The food is very plentiful and good as well. Their shrimp are always amazing and however I got the peel and eat shrimp for the first time. That were large and fresh. However, they were coated in paprika, which tasted good but when you're peeling off all the shells the paprika gets all over your fingers and under your nails. The chart, lemon and scallions. But some of the shrimp had very prominent poop veins. Not my favorite. When you're eating really good seafood you really don't want to have to pull out the poop veins. I would ask that the restaurant do this for their customers since we're paying $25-$27 for a pound of shrimp. Again the shrimp were amazing except for this.

Was there Friday Jan 9th. Excellent band lots of dancing. Decent snacks. Overall fun.

Fried shrimp po boy

Unfortunately food was just okay and the service was mediocre, granted it was a Monday night. We ordered the fried shrimp po boy with fries, pulled pork bbq nachos, mahi mahi tacos and pepperoni pizza. Shrimp po boy was lacking flavor, the only flavoring came from their sauce. The pulled pork bbq nachos nachos were dripping with extra moisture that was not needed. The beans were saturated and had not been drained before being dumped onto the baked tortilla chips. The only thing that was good was the mahi mahi tacos, though the actual mahi mahi lacked flavoring as well the mango pico de gallo was the only thing that improved the tacos. The beans and rice were the star without needing any extra seasoning. The pepperoni pizza had too thick of tomato sauce and too thin of crust. I would suggest going to the Inn on the Gulf instead which is right across the way.

Food mediocre, over priced and lacked service. Birds eating food off plates left on tables. Nice view of the water, great ambiance.

Do you still allow dogs outside on the deck?

No. Checked 3/14/22.

Are you Pet friendly?

Their website claims they are pet friendly but they definitely ARE NOT! Me and my wife walked in with our dog and a very rude hostess with red hair threw us out! She was not nice about it and we will not be returning thanks to this Emily gal. My… Read more

The shows and talent that they get here are absolutely fantastic! And it's only $5 per ticket?!!! I am SERIOUS! When you drive up to the bldg you think you're about to enter some dumpy warehouse and when you step inside you are amazed at the decor. Then you take a trip to the Ladies room and you think you're in some high class night club. They have a nice big dance floor and they always seem to fill it up. They also serve dinner before the show for a fairly reasonable price. The quality of the dinner is just ok really so we sometimes opt to grab something elsewhere. I would recommend the pot roast and shrimp scampi as the best dinner options. You can absolutely NOT beat the top rate entertainment and shows that Colorama presents. Oh and they also have a recording studio so if you're an entertainer and want to cut a recording this is a great place to do it. Check out their website for more details about that. I should also note that it attracts an older crowd. I am no spring chicken myself (57) and am usually on the younger end of the guests.
