This review will only be for the weekend Pizza. We have never been, but I kept seeing posts about the pizza on Sundays. Well, now it is all weekend and we decided to check it out. Driving by it looks like nothing, inside is a large seating area, a bar area and then doors to go to the outside where on the weekends at least there's live music. I took a step outside to get a picture of the pizza oven, what a beauty! I did not know it was the owner, but I asked the guy if I could grab a picture of it and in an Italian accent, he said get a picture from over here you can see inside. Our waitress was very knowledgeable, friendly and fast, And she had some large tables. The pizza was absolutely delicious. I asked the waitress while looking at the menu, I saw that they said some homemade pasta. She told me that they make all their pastas, breads, sauces, and pizza dough on site. We will have to come back and try some other meals, but the wood fired pizza was phenomenal. I had seen this place on the socials, and one time working my way back home when the expressway was shut down...I drove by it, and would've never noticed it if I hadn't known the name. The place is definitely doing the business, but you need to go. It is a hidden gem. One of the better pizzas in the drivable area for sure! The owners are from Italy, need I say anymore. Oh, I almost forgot that they have a nice selection of beers on draft. Seriously, reef donkey for five dollars. It only made the pizza that much better! And the sidenote when you get mushrooms on your pizza, you get a mixture of delicious mushrooms, all fresh, even shiitakes. The red peppers are freshly cut, and the onions are sautéed, which just adds another layer of flavor. And definitely when we go back I am getting some meatball sliders, cause we got meatballs on the one pizza and they were so delicious, just a tender flavorful hold together meatball but not dense! I visited with my ladies group. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. They offer daily specials on the board and have quite an extensive menu. Very large place especially if you have a group. Ordered Prime Rib Sandwich served fresh and hot. I've visited at least a dozen times- a few times for lunch and the rest for dinner. Usually there are 7 to 12 of us for dinner on a Friday night. I love the menu. Something for everyone. From salads to burgers to Italian (even rice balls!) To liver & onions & seafood- A variety of appetizers. EVERYTHING - EVERYTIME has been cooked & served to perfection. Hudson Grill has been through many different names and changes and managers and cooks. My friend and I went to Hudson Grill and decided to give it a try because it was under new management and I'm very glad that we did. The food was excellent the quantity of food that you get is a lot. I was unable to finish all the food that I had and the price for that amount of food was very reasonable. The inside has been redecorated. It's extremely clean and I believe it is a local hangout. Every time it's open it's packed with cars. There's a separate bar in the back but the dining area is large and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and we really didn't have to wait to have our glasses refilled because our waitress was always on the ball. If you haven't tried Hudson Grill or if you tried it before that was under a different name and a different owner you should give this restaurant, Hudson Grill, another chance. It'll be well worth the revisit and I guarantee you will be happy. The food is delicious. The people are very friendly and the food is good. If the locals like it, I think it's a very good indication that the food and prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Hudson Grill. If you like my reviews, please give me a like and a follow. I was at a restaurant / bar last weekend and there were 2 couples behind us bragging about Hudson Grill... soooo my sista and I tried it today!!! It was fantastic! The food was great, it was very clean. And our Server was Olivia.... she was great!!! We had meatball sliders - the meatballs were juicy with cheese on a soft mini bun and sauce .., they were piping hot. We also had rice fritters , if you have never had a rice fritter you have to try these. Crispy and when you bite into it the cheeses and rice oozes out so good. waitress Ashley was super. For the food: My husband ordered the lasagna, and my son and I ordered the chicken parm. While my husband wasn't thrilled with the lasagna, the chicken parm was excellent. Wait time: We arrived at 6:30pm on a Thursday. Good size crowd at the tables and outside, but we were seated right away. Drinks and soup/salads came out fairly quickly . The entrees took a bit longer, but I could see many "door dash" people waiting for pickups and so that would account for the slight delay. That also says something about how popular the food is. Ambience: Nothing fancy, and the acoustics make it a bit loud when full of diners, but we are there for the food after all. Great place to eat! read more

Now that was delicious! In town to have our RV windows repaired and didn't feel like dinner at a chain tonight. Checked Yelp and about a mile and a half away is this little gem of a restaurant. We decided to order to go since we were driving all day. Nice little place off the beaten path. Staff was really friendly and it looks like there were plenty of locals there, which I take as a good sign. Hubby got the spaghetti and meatballs and I got the Hudson Burger with fries. His dinner came with a salad and bread. The portion was perfectly sized and he said the meatballs were delicious. That's a pretty rare statement so I believe it when says that. Spaghetti was cooked perfect and the bread was flavorful and warm. My burger was made with Swiss cheese, BBQ sauce, and onion tangles and served on a brioche roll and accompanied by fries. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. I'm hoping to have dinner there at least once more while we are in town this week. Looking forward to trying their ribs, the BBQ was so tasty and hubby is going to try the chicken parm! Definitely worth the trip. read more

Second visit. Thought since I liked it enough to visit again they deserved a good review. The people here are great. Always friendly and do a good job keeping you taken cared of. Sometimes it can get loud, but has its quiet time too. I like the Bolognese, they do a good job on that one for sure. read more

Everything was undercooked. The calamari was soggy, floppy and so undercooked the breading was white. Fries were limpy and tasted like old oil. I really want to give this 5 stars because the food was out of this world but I wasn't crazy about the service. About an hour before closing the bartender is putting chairs up to get ready to close and we wanted drinks we tried to get her attention but she wasn't paying attention so we just ended up not ordering them since she seemed like she didn't want to be there. I would like to start by saying that the food is excellent. However, the service we received on Sunday (the Sunday Pizza Night) was terrible. We arrived at 6pm. It was definitely busy. We placed an order after about 20 minutes. 1 person from our group got the pizza and the rest had an entree. The pizza arrived and that was it. So he ate it while it was hot. We thought the salads would come shortly, but they didn't. I had to ask the waitress if we could get them. There were only 2. I think a good hour had passed by then. At least 9 other people came in after us and they were all served before us (and they didn't all have just pizza). The manager (Georgia) walked past and my brother in law asked about our food. She was very rude and the whole situation escalated. She told my sister in law if she yelled at her (which she wasn't yelling) that she would ask her to leave. She said there was only 1 cook and we should have been told by our waitress about the situation. By now the rest of the patrons were gawking at us. Our food arrived at 7:45 (so an hour and 45 minutes later). Thinking about it, i wondered if maybe the waitress forgot to put in our order, or why our order wasn't in before the other 9 people. Maybe they should have Saturday Pizza Night instead so Sundays can be for families. Like i said when I started this review, the food is excellent, service was horrible, and the Manager needs to read about customer service. read more

Everything went well... The chef cooked everything perfect. The last 2 times I went there, our waitresses were spot on and knew their stuff when I asked about ingredients. They love their job. They're very happy and knowledgeable. I would recommend this place 110% the absolute best authentic Italian food you could get in Pasco County that is the closest to being in Italy. I decided to stop in with my husband for a late lunch so that he would be able to see the new look under new management. Our waitress was very pleasant and served our drinks quickly. I ordered the ribeye sandwich, with Caesar salad as a side, and hubby ordered the Garlic Mussels. My sandwich came on the most delicious artisan roll with a horseradish sauce that brought out the wonderful flavor of the meat. Worst Service I have ever received in my decades of eating out. Ordered the Sausage, peppers dish. Chipped my tooth on bone that was left in the Sausage. Pulled the bone out of my mouth and part of the tooth out on table and showed it to server. Server didn't apologize at all. Took it back to manager and manager comes out with attitude and first thing she says is what you want me to do about it. Like it was my fault. She said she gets the sausage from us foods and that i should do a complaint to them. I said you served it and you give me the attitude? They didn't offer anything like a discount or to take just that meal off the bill instead they said if I don't pay there going to call the cops. The manager kept arguing in front of her customers. So unprofessional. I was looking around at the customers eating and they all looked shocked how she was talking to us. My girlfriend got so upset and started to argue with her as well because how shocked of the service. The correct thing for a manager/owner would be to come over and apologize first. Than say that your going to do the complaint with the vendor sense we buy from them all the time. The next thing would be to offer a discount or at least a free meal or a desert or something off your next visit. Something to get us to come back again. Instead they would rather argue and loose a customer for life and a bad review than to just make it right. I am new to the area and she just lost us probably once a week customer for a long time. You should have made it right and have the customer leave happy so they come back instead of letting them leave upset. I am shocked how this was handled. First part of being a manager you make your customer happy and not let them leave upset. If you did the math you would have still left ahead if you at least offered a desert or something instead of blaming us food group and arguing with your customer. read more
