The food and service were impeccable. We could not ask for more. We will go back! Matter of fact we have reservations for next Thursday!

This review will only be for the weekend Pizza. We have never been, but I kept seeing posts about the pizza on Sundays. Well, now it is all weekend and we decided to check it out. Driving by it looks like nothing, inside is a large seating area, a bar area and then doors to go to the outside where on the weekends at least there's live music. I took a step outside to get a picture of the pizza oven, what a beauty! I did not know it was the owner, but I asked the guy if I could grab a picture of it and in an Italian accent, he said get a picture from over here you can see inside. Our waitress was very knowledgeable, friendly and fast, And she had some large tables. The pizza was absolutely delicious. I asked the waitress while looking at the menu, I saw that they said some homemade pasta. She told me that they make all their pastas, breads, sauces, and pizza dough on site. We will have to come back and try some other meals, but the wood fired pizza was phenomenal. I had seen this place on the socials, and one time working my way back home when the expressway was shut down...I drove by it, and would've never noticed it if I hadn't known the name. The place is definitely doing the business, but you need to go. It is a hidden gem. One of the better pizzas in the drivable area for sure! The owners are from Italy, need I say anymore. Oh, I almost forgot that they have a nice selection of beers on draft. Seriously, reef donkey for five dollars. It only made the pizza that much better! And the sidenote when you get mushrooms on your pizza, you get a mixture of delicious mushrooms, all fresh, even shiitakes. The red peppers are freshly cut, and the onions are sautéed, which just adds another layer of flavor. And definitely when we go back I am getting some meatball sliders, cause we got meatballs on the one pizza and they were so delicious, just a tender flavorful hold together meatball but not dense! I visited with my ladies group. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. They offer daily specials on the board and have quite an extensive menu. Very large place especially if you have a group. Ordered Prime Rib Sandwich served fresh and hot. What a fantastic restaurant. Clean and great service by our waitresses. Our waitress was Amy. She was very friendly and got the food out to us at just the right time.That's not easy to do serving 20 people with two waitresses. Beverages and lunches looked and tasted fantastic. My chicken Parmesan was better than other Italian restaurants I've been to. It was not a frozen chicken patty that was breaded, it was real chicken breast. I wanted to try the eggplant Parmesan. My friend used to make it, but I always got acid stomach later. Next time I go there I'll try it. I don't think it was the eggplant that did it, I think it was her sauce no offense to her as she's a great cook. I used to love eating her eggplant Parmesan. I'm gonna put it back on my menu. Everyone I was with had a great meal. There were about 20 of us and I didn't hear anybody complain. It was the first time I ever had tiramisu in my entire life. I'm a diabetic so that's a once in a lifetime thing I think lol. Whether you're a local, or you are coming from further away, you have to try the Hudson Grill. I've visited at least a dozen times- a few times for lunch and the rest for dinner. Usually there are 7 to 12 of us for dinner on a Friday night. I love the menu. Something for everyone. From salads to burgers to Italian (even rice balls!) To liver & onions & seafood- A variety of appetizers. EVERYTHING - EVERYTIME has been cooked & served to perfection. The pastas are homemade except the spaghetti. Be sure to check the board for the Chef's specials! They have a full bar and seating outdoors. The food is so fresh, clean, and delicious. I ordered the fried fish sandwich with fries. I had enough to take home for dinner! The waitress, Georgia, was so friendly, fast and attentive. Don't get fooled by the simple outside. This place has amazing food at reasonable prices. We (2 couples) have been here around 6 times this year since discovering it. The full service bar can deliver any drink you desire. I had the lobster ravioli special, and it was excellent. we have ordered different meals each time and never disappointed. Hudson Grill has been through many different names and changes and managers and cooks. My friend and I went to Hudson Grill and decided to give it a try because it was under new management and I'm very glad that we did. The food was excellent the quantity of food that you get is a lot. I was unable to finish all the food that I had and the price for that amount of food was very reasonable. The inside has been redecorated. It's extremely clean and I believe it is a local hangout. Every time it's open it's packed with cars. There's a separate bar in the back but the dining area is large and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and we really didn't have to wait to have our glasses refilled because our waitress was always on the ball. If you haven't tried Hudson Grill or if you tried it before that was under a different name and a different owner you should give this restaurant, Hudson Grill, another chance. It'll be well worth the revisit and I guarantee you will be happy. The food is delicious. The people are very friendly and the food is good. I kept hearing about how great this place was but the reviews were on Facebook so I thought ... is it really ??? I was at a restaurant / bar last weekend and there were 2 couples behind us bragging about Hudson Grill... soooo my sista and I tried it today!!! It was fantastic! The food was great, it was very clean. And our Server was Olivia.... she was great!!! We had meatball sliders - the meatballs were juicy with cheese on a soft mini bun and sauce .., they were piping hot. We also had rice fritters , if you have never had a rice fritter you have to try these. Crispy and when you bite into it the cheeses and rice oozes out so good. Now that was delicious! In town to have our RV windows repaired and didn't feel like dinner at a chain tonight. Checked Yelp and about a mile and a half away is this little gem of a restaurant. We decided to order to go since we were driving all day. Nice little place off the beaten path. Staff was really friendly and it looks like there were plenty of locals there, which I take as a good sign. Hubby got the spaghetti and meatballs and I got the Hudson Burger with fries. His dinner came with a salad and bread. The portion was perfectly sized and he said the meatballs were delicious. That's a pretty rare statement so I believe it when says that. Spaghetti was cooked perfect and the bread was flavorful and warm. My burger was made with Swiss cheese, BBQ sauce, and onion tangles and served on a brioche roll and accompanied by fries. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. I'm hoping to have dinner there at least once more while we are in town this week. Looking forward to trying their ribs, the BBQ was so tasty and hubby is going to try the chicken parm! Definitely worth the trip. read more

But no side salad (2.00) extra charge- was not told that and no bread. You also get charged 1.00 ea extra tartar sauce. Second visit. Thought since I liked it enough to visit again they deserved a good review. The people here are great. Always friendly and do a good job keeping you taken cared of. Sometimes it can get loud, but has its quiet time too. I like the Bolognese, they do a good job on that one for sure. read more

Everything was undercooked. The calamari was soggy, floppy and so undercooked the breading was white. Fries were limpy and tasted like old oil. Servers argued with us and the table behind us about what comes with a meal, it was a simple salad and piece of bread both clearly marked included on the board. What happens, pissy attitude to the customer then rude server runs to the board and erases bread from it. Refused to take back a drink because it had carbonated water, which patron could not consume. "It says no drink refunds on the menu". Nowhere on the menu does it say that and very rude about it, repeating no drink refunds repeatedly even after asking to see where it says that. A patron got in a shouting match with 2 bartenders over name calling! Grow up, and act like adults. THIS IS ALL IN ONE NIGHT!! Sorry to say we will not be back unless the staff gets overhauled, but then again the female owner snatched a butter knife from my 6 year old grandson recently as well. Wait time: We arrived at 6:30pm on a Thursday. Good size crowd at the tables and outside, but we were seated right away. Drinks and soup/salads came out fairly quickly . The entrees took a bit longer, but I could see many "door dash" people waiting for pickups and so that would account for the slight delay. That also says something about how popular the food is. Ambience: Nothing fancy, and the acoustics make it a bit loud when full of diners, but we are there for the food after all. Great place to eat! read more

I really want to give this 5 stars because the food was out of this world but I wasn't crazy about the service. About an hour before closing the bartender is putting chairs up to get ready to close and we wanted drinks we tried to get her attention but she wasn't paying attention so we just ended up not ordering them since she seemed like she didn't want to be there. The restaurant isn't open late and it doesn't make sense why there was such urgency. Other than that food was excellent and will hopefully be back just hoping for better service next time. read more

I decided to stop in with my husband for a late lunch so that he would be able to see the new look under new management. Our waitress was very pleasant and served our drinks quickly. I ordered the ribeye sandwich, with Caesar salad as a side, and hubby ordered the Garlic Mussels. My sandwich came on the most delicious artisan roll with a horseradish sauce that brought out the wonderful flavor of the meat. Everything went well... The chef cooked everything perfect. The last 2 times I went there, our waitresses were spot on and knew their stuff when I asked about ingredients. They love their job. They're very happy and knowledgeable. I would recommend this place 110% the absolute best authentic Italian food you could get in Pasco County that is the closest to being in Italy.
