I asked what that nasty woman's attitude was about. She apologized for the woman's behavior. She didn't delve into it deeper, but she just kept apologizing and I say it was OK. I just wanted somebody to know that you know when you first come into a place you don't be greeted by somebody who looks like they want to rip your face off. But our waitress was very kind and she did go and tell her manager and had a talk with the grouchy woman. The food was very good and so was the service. Our waitress checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed and our drink 's we're never empty. Even the manager came by each and every table and asked if everything was OK how the food was and we appreciated that attention as well. I recommend Susie's Grill. They do need to finish some repairs but everything was clean. It's a bit of a lively place after they open. When we got there, it was very quiet, but it filled up very rapidly. The food was very, very tasty and served with care.

Conveniently located behind steak 'n Shake in the Publix plaza. Indoor seating is air-conditioned and they have booths, which are nice when you're with family wanting conversation. DH said they were awesome. For my meal I had the bowl of Crawfish Etouffee. I'm not one for spice but I was able to enjoy this as the rice helped cut the spice. There was a plentiful amount of pieces of crawfish within the soup. I truly loved the mix of flavors & would get it again. The 2 pieces of bread were nothing special. DH ordered the Muffuletta. He was impressed with the amount of meat in the sandwich and said the flavors were good. He got it with a side of fries. The fries were cooked the way he likes with crispiness. We finished with the White Chocolate Bread Pudding. Fantastic & a must if you dine here. The bread had a candied edge and the flavors sent it over the top. Shout out to our server Jessica K. She was terrific. Always checking on us, refilling our waters, friendly & cheerful.

The service was excellent- our server was sweet as pie and everything was prompt and the courses were well timed by the kitchen. Everything was joyful to eat and cooked to perfection! We tried the shrimp appetizer (get it!!!) and we each picked something and shared amongst the table- each dish was too good not to share!
