a pizza bag on a table

Open about six months in Hudson. We got two pizzas. One vegetable and one meat garbage. Topping are generous and bakes well done with a crispy crust. Tasted yummy. The restaurant is older but very clean and smells real good. You can see the kitchen from the counter. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Will be back.

We stopped at the first pizza place we saw & this was it! The staff was super nice & friendly! Pizza was loaded up & fresh!

New Largo store.. First time..Got a deep dish..It looked good ..But it was burnt and tasted burnt.. Out 40 bucks....

"Deep dish" Chicago style slider from second city eats.

Second sh1tty eats. First word comes to mind. Severely lacking. . Atmosphere, an old diner . No A/C, counter ordering, rickety tables, no waitstaff at table, yuck. Pro tip: Don't make me stand there and order my food and have a tip spot on the bill. Service: Horrible. We were the only people in there when we arrived, except for one couple when we sat down. 2 tables of 4 and 1 table of 2 came in after us. We ordered an app of poppers and the deep dish "special". All the other people ordered after us and not only got their food BEFORE us, but were actually LEAVING before we even got our pizza. I went up to the counter twice, you know where I tipped the lady taking our order to ask what was taking so long, and asked if she was going to bring the appetizer and pizza all at the same time ? Of course she was! This place is the worst pizza place I've been to in all my years here. I should have gone to urban oak or back droughts for real pizza! The poppers finally came and they weren't poppers, they had a half a slice of jalapeño pepper in them and some oily cream cheese. Terrible but we were hungry by now and ate them. It was fun watching everyone else eat while we were ignored. I wonder if they had even placed the order or the kitchen screwed up. Who knows. After almost an HOUR I went to the counter and told her to make it to Go. I had completely run out of patience by then and just wanted to GTF out of there! So we get home and open the box and this is what we found. Arguably the worst slider I've ever seen. I had placed it on the bench back seat and carefully leveled it with a little neck pillow and the greasy oil from the sauce n cheese leaked onto the seat and pillow. Lovely. The deep dish was terrible. The Dough thick and rubbery, tons of sauce just not a "Chicago experience" if you've ever been there. We both ate most of one slice and when my wife asked if she should put it in the fridge, not a word was said, we looked at each other and she dumped it in the trash. I don't know what people rave about with this establishment. I can't wait to Never go there again. SMH

The first time I came was right after that article, and there were about 50 people in line, so I left. This Saturday I stopped by at around noon, and I was third in line. WARNING: do not be in a rush! Your food is not coming out quickly. Paulie is a sweetheart, but he is a one-man show, and he likes to chat and get to know all his customers. They currently do not carry the full menu they show online, so I went with a Chicago hot dog, and the Italian beef sandwich. Paulie educated me a bit on the sandwich; if I wanted it juicy (with the sauce already on it) or on the side to dip into (yes, please, I'm a dipper), and how spicy I wanted it (more peppers, less peppers). After a nice chat with Paulie about politics, I headed home and dug in. The Chicago hot dog was perfect, although I had to remove the hot peppers. The sandwich was outstanding; the beef so tender, the peppers and onions adding depth, and the roll was so soft-I could only eat half, but the other half heated up nicely for dinner. Can't wait to go back!

Excellent other choices like a plentiful Pastrami sandwich which can also be made as a Reuben. Friendly service from a real Chicago native & veteran housed in an adjacent building (not a food truck) to a gas station - gives a dive vibe but is great for to-go. This is a lunch only (11a-2p) business 6 days, closed SUN. Very limited outdoor seating and service can be slow because he's mainly a one man show (occasionally has a helper), BUT the deliciousness of the mostly Vienna products are well worth the wait! You can also call ahead for better timed service but that hinges on him not being too busy to answer. Pro Tip food choice: his 'Best of Both Worlds' gets you a Chicago dog & a 5" Italian beef for a sizable discount!

He cooks his slices all his own beef rather than using a bagged product like many of the local places that serve Chicago style. You can taste the difference. The fries are all fresh cut on site, (sadly I can no longer eat root vegetables), but they look promising. He uses real Vienna beef dogs and Polish and has real pizza puffs and sausage or pepperoni. Basically it all sounds good. Being only 2 mi from home for me this is a great addition to the area. I hope he stays. From my first time I ordered an Italian beef dipped with hot giardinara and a Polish sausage Chicago style. It took what felt like less than 5 minutes for my order to be up. We talked a bit and I promise to give an honest review. The beef sandwich when first unwrapped did not appear dipped but it was deceiving. The roles he uses are softer and denser than most Chicago places use, to be fair we are in Florida. There was a lot of giardinara and it did not disappoint. I mean this stuff really brought the heat which was a bit unexpected compared to other local places. The sandwich was well prepared and had a ton of flavor. I will try it again. The Polish while good was nothing for me to write home about. On the plus side it was on a poppy seed bun and tasted good. And the minus side it was one of the smaller Polish and I prefer the bigger ones. Also there was no tomato available, which was no loss for me anymore as I can't have them, and I don't believe there was any celery salt. Next time I will ask just to verify. While not a five-star review, as I judge my actual Chicago quality, it was worth stopping and would be a good place to get a tasty meal for the entire family. Do yourself a favor if you are in the area and give them a try.

I ordered the Norm's Bigg Dog because I'm a huge fan of loose meat. This foot-long hot dog had a pile of loose meat, cheese, and it was topped with coleslaw and several onion rings. Everything was prepared great and the bun was also delicious. My husband is a fan of the Coney sauce with cheese so he got a dog with that on it and it did not disappoint.
