I don't know how this place doesn't have at least 4.5 stars. Classic brick ovens, friendly staff, aroma of flavor & herbs, not just a bunch of food mixed together. Pizza was quality, so good! Ziti was great too, not overtly salty & cooked just right. read more

Pizza is very good and the Chicken Parmigiana is outstanding. Love the sauce and you get a very healthy portion. Staff is very professional.

Don't even think about ordering the "grandmas pizza". Yuck! Sauce is bland, the dough is gooey, there isn't any toppings sans a couple of what looked like onions, but tasted like nothing. Listen, we older folks like some taste to our aging buds. Jazz this poor idea of a pizza up! read more

Very outdated system, doesnt let me know when my food is on the way or anythjng and the funny looking guy with the ponytail knocks like hes the police. He also fraudulently added a tip. I'll never order delivery from here again. The food is a hit or miss, very good when it's a hit but it's always 50/50. read more

Place is going down, order pizza and a hour later pizza still hasn't even started. Also the last couple pizza I have got have sucked to where they offered to re make it twice. If you knew it wasn't good why didn't you re cook it. Last time I spend my money there. read more

The Philly..... has 1 ounce of meat on it. I kid you not. Went back to see if they made a mistake and they said it's extra for more meat. Strongly do not recommend. read more

We ordered a pick up order the other day and we were amazed at the amount of food we received for the price! I mean let me tell you, my husband and I both order pasta... I had chicken Parmesan and he had the ziti, we also ordered garlic knots. Let me say that both of us had over 3/4 leftover because there was such a huge portion!!! The girl at the counter was very polite and kind and the entire feel in the place is cozy and relaxed. We usually just have a pizza delivered which is also amazing! read more

First time trying PJ's but won't be last . First off the ladies up front are friendly and polite and answered our few questions . Placed order and very quickly some salad and hot garlic knots appeared. Both were very good . Pizza arrived and done just the way we like it . We have learned that if we don't order it well done it tastes doughy to us . Pizza was delicious . Really like this place and for the price we are certainly going to be back read more

I ordered pizza from this place today and it was completely awful. It was overcooked and tasty Terrible the fries I ordered were also terrible cold and had no salt read more

Basic for eat in but best pizza around! Specials are great, especially Sicilian Saturday. HUGE pizza!

Great pizza and calzones. The chicken and broccoli calzone is my absolute favorite. It comes with a side of marinara sauce and the cheese-pull is unreal. They always answer when we call to place an order no matter how busy. read more

People were so nice to me and my kids. And the pizza was delicious. Not to mention you can't argue with the cost. We'll be back!

Ordered an extra large pie, thin crusted well done and the pie was none of the above. The only thing they got right were the toppings. For a $25 pie expected more food. The slices were the size you get from dominoes. Below average pizza. Won't be coming back anytime soon. Oh also ordered garlic knots and they charged an extra $1.99 for the small cup of marinara for the knots. read more

True brick oven pizza. Thin crust with great portion of toppings. They offer take out. There is a place to sit but there is no wait staff. Order at the desk and bring it to your table. That's fine. Wings are nice and crispy. Update during the Covid pandemic: ordered take out. The observed social distancing with pickup outside. All staff wearing masks, even cooks and delivery. Great job you guys. read more

Very good pizza I enjoy the meatball and the sausage also. Good quality. I ordered from door dash

The pizza here is so good and the sandwiches too. But my favorite is the spinach pie with tomatoes wow they make it good. Staff on hand are very friendly and they make sure your order is right before you depart. I've been coming here since 2001 and I'm a New Yorker born a rise there and very one says they have NY Pizza ,from pizza villa to mark Anthony they don't taste better then PJs . This place treats you right with good service and for me 23 yrs and they still do it right Thanks PJ brick oven pizza. read more

I had the 10 inch broccoli and mushroom pizza. It was delicious. The eggplant parm is also great!! Check out their weekly lunch specials. . Highly recommend!! read more

We had pizza and wings for the AFC/NFC championship football games. The pizza was good and the wings were horrible. The large meaty pie had plenty of toppings (not much cheese). The garlic Parmesan wings were over cooked and too dry to eat. The "mild" wings burned my brother in law's mouth . I tried the mild wings and they messed up and gave us hot wings! PS. The ranch dressing tasted like they gave us mayonnaise by mistake. I've always wondered who could mess up ranch dressing and now I now LOL. read more

Great food pizza awesome not miss out good service and great food I ordered to go was nice and hot

I hate posting bad reviews but this place is ridiculous. I Moved out here a little over two years ago. This pizza shop is about a mile and a half away from my house. My standard Peetz is a white pizza with feta cheese finish and pepperoni. I've ordered that pizza from the shop four different times every single time it has been completely undercooked to the point where I have to bring it home and cook it for about 30 minutes before even edible spend $34 on a pizza have to cook it yourself is beyond ridiculous. Every time I've actually told the people that made the pizza it's not cooked then beer arrogant narcissistic sociopathic complete buffoon told me the pizza was fine. Meanwhile, when you bring it home it's actually 3/4 of the way around the pizza for $34. Have to bring a piece home to cook yourself is ridiculous. I've ordered the same exact pizza from Westshore Pizza and Marco's probably well over 100 times In Tampa it's never been undercooked it's never had to be cooked at home. This pizza shop is completely inept about actually cooking a white pizza have no idea what the other pizzas they cook actually taste like but for me to spend $34 per pizza after bring it home and cook it the first one we just threw out cause it was horrible, I don't suggest anyone ever goes to this pizza shop or ever even risk eating something that could possibly give you salmonella. The first sign should've been when they asked you to pay for the pizza before they actually even show you the pizza for pick up, I would never recommend the shop and we are going to report them to the health department And the of business and professional regulations like I said, I hate to do this sort of thing, but they've never replied to anyone of my phone calls and emails or anyone of my post on yelp Google Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok. They clearly know there's a problem, and they clearly do not care, this is a picture of uncooked pizza This seems to be a trend out here in Springhill. Business taking advantage of customers with well below serve and food read more

Only had the calzone so far but it was excellent and plentiful (largest size ordered)

PJ's is the only pizzeria in Spring Hill that I get my pizza from. I love how the pizza tastes. Their specials are great also. Where else can you get a 10 personal pizza, salad, and a drink for $7.99? The people who work there are great. I like it when I see Stevie's smiling face when I walk in. read more

Excellent food marred by indifferent service. Most recent delivery was taken to wrong house. I know it was a Friday, and they are busy, but I spelled out the location, and delivery still got it wrong. read more

Pizza was good. Ordered a pepperoni with extra toppings, a broccoli roll, and a sausage and peppers sub. Good but cost was high.

Disappointed. Was in at 2:30 on a weekday, looking for a slice, the case was empty. Ordered a calzone, which I have ordered before and thought excellent. Food was prompt and hot-2 stars. The calzone, however, had a crust that was tasteless and soggy. Was this made from white bread dough? Did not taste like fermented pizza dough, it had a soft brown crust. Brushed with garlic butter containing not nearly enough garlic to call it garlic butter. If this is the dough you make pizza with, you may want to recalibrate your thinking. I will be going a little further east on Spring Hill Drive for my pizza. This place used to make bomb pizza. Disappointed. read more

I was going to post a picture of my cheese pizza however during the 15 minute ride home I ate a few slices; the pizza is quite good. I also got Garlic knots which should've had a touch more garlic and olive oil but maybe that's just me wanting them to be dripping in sauce. I enjoyed my pizza and I am looking forward to trying more items on their menu. read more

I'd been going to PJs since the original location on SHD but I will not be going back. The pizza has gotten extremely greasy and the last two times they screwed up my order. I didn't say anything the first time they gave me pepperoni instead of bacon. Don't order the pineapple topping... it tastes like it is from a can and they don't warm it on the pizza. Gross. I ordered a calzone which says it comes with ham on the menu but I got cheese only. When I called to complain I was told they couldn't remake it and that it was my mistake for not specifying the ham. They also challenged me being a former customer saying it was my first order. It was the first time I used the online ordering system. The calzone was mostly dough and their large side of sauce is tiny. My $50 order for a family of 5 wasn't worth it. Mark Anthony's across the street has far better pizza but they aren't open on Mondays so I tried PJs again. Thankful there are many other options. read more

We had wings,a Eggplant Hero and Ribs. I have to say it was Pretty Bad.The eggplant tasted or should,I say no taste was, terrible .!! And I love, eggplant. The,Ribs tasted, like, they sat,for a week and, they pulled them out,and slapped them with sauce. The, wings, the same. We had eaten there once before and,it was bad.But my husband saw there menu and decided to give it another, try. The,girl that works the counter needs to be nicer.!! Will never go back again read more

My first time and will not return. I started ordering on uber, it was a $7 delivery fee so I checked door dash, $6 fee and rates for the food we were ordering were different on each app so I decided to call and order and pick up myself. I was asked if I wanted sauce with the garlic knots, I said yes. I was told my amount due was double what Uber said. When I got to the location to pick up, I was told this happens often. Even as far as telling me people's card will decline because they think it's for the Uber amount when in fact, their prices doubled. I said "well can't they fix that, Id be livid if my total just changed like that" her response was "they should". I didn't think the pizza and wings were worth going back for. Garlic knots are just like everyone else's. Can't mess up a salad. Never got the sauce I said yes to. read more

I purchased over $90 dollars of food to include four calzones. Upon opening the boxes of calzones I noticed that there was only one sauce for the calzones. I reentered the restaurant to request three additional sauces and was told that the sauce was additional money. I attempted to tell the representative that I have never heard such a thing and she responded with "that's how we do it here". This is like ordering fish and not getting tarter sauce! I do have to say the food was hot and tasted great. read more

Great food for the price pizza is really good and the lunch specials are amazing entrée salad, and a drink for 799

Pretty much Self serve. Paper plates that get saugy . Cardboard crust pizza. Gave it a shot, won't go back.

I don't get the high ratings lavished on PJ's. The decor is confused and the bathroom is dirty. The seats in our case needed re springing. This could have been offset by the food, but it was lackluster. We ordered the special with a half cheese, half pineapple pie, garlic knots, and a pitcher of soda. The sauce - both for the garlic knots and for the pie- lacked any substantial flavor. The use of cheap cheese resulted in a very oily pie. While it wasn't bad tasting, it was certainly not worth coming back for. Sauce notwithstanding, the garlic knots were very good. I could quibble and ask for more garlic flavor, but that would be more my preference than a deficiency. Other things that bothered me: 1. 5-6 employees hanging out at the front counter, chit-chatting. They were likely delivery drivers waiting to go out, but have they nowhere else to go while they wait? 2. An employee used the pizza peel to straighten out boxes on the shelf behind the counter more than once. I did not see the peel sanitized after this. 3. The lack of table service and having to cash out before you eat inhibits your desire to order more. I would have gotten more soda, but I would have had to go to the counter, order it, pay for it, and risk not being able to charge it since they have a $4 minimum for charges. I dealt with it by not dealing with it. Overall, this place is crying out for Chef Robert Irvine to perform a "Restaurant Impossible" rescue. Lots of potential but poor execution. read more

My good friend John "Mr. Pizza" Morris told me that this place is the best in town for pizza and that I had to go there (and invite him) and put it in the mix for the review. They do pizza by the slice (I love sampling a variety of pies) and thus I got a pepperoni pizza and then three additional slices to try. Well..... I say slices, but that would be understating what I experienced. I got the special, (same combo as before) which was very good, and against my better judgment the white pizza (I don't like white pizza but thought I would try this one). Surprise, surprise, I didn't care for it and am officially retiring myself from the white pizza league. It's been real, but I am over it. Following the white pizza catastrophe, I sought to raise my spirits with the "Stuffed Slice". Imagine a pie, but it's pizza. Bottom crust (like any pizza) then an inch or two of mozzarella, ricotta and other goodness and a TOP CRUST and that's what you have. You know what? Just check the picture, I can't explain it and do it any sort of justice. The pizza is very good; it's in the top five on it's own. The "Stuffed Slice"; it's over the top. It's fantastic. I am a convert. I will never go here again without getting it. It is a must. My only criticism, (God, I'm really splitting hairs here) is that they only do one type of "stuffed slice", as best I can tell. I have to defer to my man Fred Zand who said it would be great to have some other types, a cheesesteak or something and some other samplings. This pizza is really something that you have to try. I love it, and you won't convince me that it doesn't have magical properties. If you're on a diet, break it. You have to have this pizza; you too will be a convert. read more

WOW I'm drooling just thinking about their Stuffed Pizza. LET'S TALK FOOD Okay, some of my items have been slightly burnt (and in doing so the crust can be slightly tougher) but I've been able to ignore it easily. DANG maybe I'm just starving, but everything tastes so good. Plus the portions are HUGE for the price. This is the type of place you stock up on then eat throughout the week because it still tastes good. SITTING DOWN In relation to the above, once I walked in there was a slight burnt smell in the air. Oh well. There's not much to look at in terms of decoration on the walls and the tables are very simple, but there's a pretty good seating area. There's often people actually relaxing in there to eat (this isn't just some grab-and-go only place). So it's not surprising to witness the good service from the staff. Friendly and fast. read more

I ordered a large cheese pie tonight. Here's the full story! Awaiting a pie that a friend raved would be delicious. As we became hungrier by the minute we wondered where the pie was. Our pie was sitting on the ground on the cold concrete in front of the door. No knock, no ring nothing!!My dog didn't even bark. No one heard him. I picked up the pie brought it to the kitchen table the cheese was all stuck together and hard. I would like to speak with the delivery guy. So if you read this your the reason we don't buy pizza from you any longer. I hope your boss has a word with you!! read more

Used to really like their pizza & garlic knots. The last 3 times I've ordered from there, I've been disappointed. The pizza has been incredibly greasy. This last time, some of the garlic knots were still raw in the middle & the pizza was tasteless. There was hardly any sauce on it as well. Unfortunately, I won't be ordering from here again. read more

I came back and tried the pizza. I would have stayed at 4 stars but customer service is a big part of the score. I ordered the Tuesday Pizza special and when I came in the store a few minutes later I asked where the rest room was. The gal told me where and then said.....It is only for customers sir. I told her I was a customer. That was a huge turn off. This is FL and the only time I have run into a problem using the rest room in public was in NJ. When I paid for the pizza she didn't offer an apology either. The pizza was good!!! Everyone was pleased with it. It is NOT the best pizza in Spring Hill but it is pretty good. read more

I gave this place 5 stars because it works for my family of six. If we lived here, we would be regulars. For $25 we got a medium pizza, breadsticks, a small calzone (not small at all), stuffed meat slice, and a pitcher of soda. We ate about half of the food. The food wasn't bad, while at the same time nothing to brag about. Great portion sizes and prices. Service was great. Friendly and helpful. read more
