Thought I surprise my husband with wings for his birthday. This place is horribly run. Took way over 90 mins for delivery. The boneless wings were burnt, extremely petite and the completely WRONG sauce. The fries soggy and uneatable. No joke!! Common sense, who looked at the food and thought it was okay to serve. With all the other businesses around the area. We will never ever order from here again. Not worth the time or money!!! read more

6/10 for the pizza- Good tasting sauce, but the pizza is too thin. Doesn't lack flavor but its thin and a bit chewy. 3/10 for the wings-- Another place that botched the wings. This time by not having barely any sauce on them. They were over fried and under dressed. I have literally never taken out wings and not had any sauce, crazy! *I do like that I could drink a beer while I waited longer than I was told for my food. That was a plus. What a horrid experience. We just moved and decided to cheat on our usual pizza place because this was closer and it was a late night. Our first pizza was a strange texture that basically implied that the pizza had been sitting forever. If you have passion for your business and respect for your customers - you do not sell food that has been sitting forever. On top of this, it was cooked to a point at which the crust crumbled when you touched it. No one would eat it (we were having people over for the hockey game) so I politely called for a more than fair replacement. A girl told me she would put me on hold. She proceeded to NOT put me on hold which was likely an accident since I could hear her complaining with an attitude about the fact that I wanted a replacement. Again - I was entirely polite and had every right to not want to waste my money on old overcooked pizza. Eventually a replacement pizza came. The girl who delivered it has no apology and an attitude while handing it over and then left in a hurry - I am assuming it was the same girl. Must to our disgust this pizza, while not old, was even more burnt. Overcooked was my biggest complaint over the phone although maybe it should have been that the pizza was old and dry. Gave them a chance to make it right and they blew it with rudeness. Oh well. At least we know not to go there anymore. Slightly horrified that other people have posted overcooked food.. I would like to add, to be fair, that some people LIKE overcooked pizza. However, burnt should be a request, but if burnt is your signature style - TELL ME THIS when I call asking for a non-burnt pizza. read more

I am giving Alpha Pizzeria 5 stars, why, this is the first place that called us after about 20 minutes to ask how everything was! In a world where customer service barely exists this shop earned my respect. I will not evaluate the pizza because it would not be fair for me to do so, why, I abhor oregano that is not their fault. Many places use it in their sauce and that's okay some love it. I want to thank the woman who called. You have restored my faith in business. read more

This is a nice little pizza spot, and they make delicious GLUTEN free pizza, the service could be a bit quicker, but the food is good.

I honestly don't know how these guys survive. The pizza is identical to a simple frozen pizza, certainly not made in house. A friend ordered wine and because it was room temperature they served it two glasses one with the wine and another with ice. That was real fun trying to make the wine drinkable. read more

I hate this place, my family somehow likes it..... well not anymore. We order pizza and wings this past weekend, it took 1 hour 45 minutes to get our food. I swear it was the WORST food I have ever seen. We called they said they would comp our next order. Well tonight we called to order, said they would not comp our meal but give us a $15 credit. Our last crappy meal was over $30. I will NEVER order from this dump again, I can only hope they finally go out of business soon. This place makes awesome calzones. We usually get the eggplant and chicken Parmesan one. They are huge and big enough for 2-3 people. The alpha fries are also really good. This is our first time eating in the actual restaurant. Normally we order delivery. The restaurant is small and quant. And the staff is super nice. read more

Not here for the pizza by any stretch. I don't like their pizza. Not at all. Too doughy and way too much like Pizza Hut. Great if you like that sort of thing. I don't. Most New Yorkers wouldn't. However, I will rave about one thing of theirs and one thing only... They make the best Greek salads anywhere north of Tarpon Springs. I always order their big Greek salad whenever I am craving a salad. For $6.49 you get a HUGE tray of fresh lettuce, banana peppers (yes, I know, not a greek salad staple, but a nice addition to throw at my husband who loves them), plenty of greek olives, some fresh green pepper, an abundance of potato salad in the middle of the veggies and loads of feta cheese. The salads are perfect for a big lunch or with an appetizer of their very yummy mozzarella sticks for dinner. Plus, the are close enough to my house to deliver whenever the craving strikes me, which is pretty often. I am not crazy about their pasta, their meatballs or any of the other things that usually make for a good Italian pizza place. But their greek salads and their antipasto (which is always lovely when we have it catered in for big dinners at my house) are very tasty. They can do salads and fresh veggies like nobodies business. But, what they should be known for as an Italian restaurant...their pizzas and pastas, fall flat. My husband, however, swears by their garlic knots. I'm not a fan of garlic knots at all, so I cannot agree or disagree with that assessment. But if you live and/or work in NPR and are craving some tasty greek salad, (they come in two sizes, small and dinner sized), then Alpha is a great place to call and have them bring it right to your front door. read more

My family ordered a pizza to go, the pizza dough tastes like cardboard ,like it came from a bag or a box, it was nt hand thrown authentic pizza dough! horrible ! I was at a friends house tonight and they ordered Alpha Pizza. The phone was busy for a few minutes and thought it's gotta be pretty good for the phone to be busy at 9pm. The pizza looked perfectly round thinking maybe it's frozen dough. I never seen a pizza that perfect. The taste of the pizza was horrible. It was full of grease for a cheese pie. I seriously had better from Pizza Hut or dominos. When picking up the pizza with friends the entire place was spotless. It looked like you can eat off the floor! The girl behind the counter was friendly and gave us good direction on how to get there. In my opinion, being clean and friendly is a good way to attract business but the taste of the pizza was beyond horrible. Next time I'm hungry and need a oil change for my car I still wouldn't call them as there are hundreds of pizzerias in the area. read more

The absolute WORST Italian food we've ever had. The baked spaghetti had very little sauce and was "crunchy" from being dry and baking it. The pizza had no sauce and was burnt (wish I could add a pic to prove this) and the chicken wings were so over cooked they were dried out as well. We ordered a pizza this past Tuesday online around 8 o'clock. Said it would be 60 minutes they are usually quicker than that. I called about 8:50 PM and she said it was on its way, delivery guy would be there soon. At 9:05 I called again she said they were closed. When delivery guy came about 9:23 PM I asked him if I order was still hot and he said yes they gave him the wrong address this was not the first time that we've ordered from them my address is correct in my online order so I don't know what happened but we were very disappointed. I had the Alpha Pizza and it was thin, and delish, I also got the gyro (awesome with homemade tzatziki sauce and fries(cooked golden with the perfect amount of salt). The Wings the kids had were juicy and full of flavor. The place was really busy and I counted 5 delivery drivers, the girl taking orders on the phone couldn't leave her station because the phone well, I kept on ringing. I purchased $60 worth of pizza for family. We had their advertisement in our vacation rental. I completely took a chance without consulting yelp and I was surprised. They have a the thinner crust, which was perfect. I didn't try all the different types that were purchased because of dietary concerns, but I can say the pizza I ordered was wonderful. Cheese, tomato and crushed garlic. Another person in my party commented on how much he liked that too. We ordered on a Wednesday at 3pm so it wasn't very busy. To be truthful, I've had better pizza. I felt that the Italian dinners were skimpy but ok for the prices. The food wasn't bad.

My husband and I went to Alpha on Friday night for a celebration dinner of sorts. Short and sweet - It was a very busy night. The service was lacking, our orders were wrong, slow to arrive, the pizza was overcooked and the hot sub was cold. All items came out separately and not as a meal. Server kept saying the ovens were full due to the deliveries and online orders. Folks picking up orders were waiting and complaining about wait times and quality of food. Dinner was a 2 hour ordeal. Staff was very apologetic and they didn't charge me for the fries. Bottom line - Quality is inconsistent and service is ok. This seems to be the pattern with Alpha Pizzeria. read more

So i called before Friday night rush to order for delivery since i live 5 minutes from them and they sent me a flier. I place my order. After i place my order and she runs my card she says i will be an hour. I said wxcise me? She said well i can try and cancel it but it is to late now. Then she tries to argue that it is friday and that is why it will take so long. I pointed out their flier offers free fast delivery and why didn't o go to pizza hut. She said they are better quality. We had some catering ordered by our Company from this restaurant. It was Baked Ziti with Cheese and Meatballs with Garlic Knots. The Garlic Knots were alright, and their pizza may be good, as I haven't had any I can't comment. What I can say is that there pasta sucks, the meatballs taste like they just bought them at a store and stuck them on top, and they used almost no pasta sauce, like 3 cups per 10 lbs of pasta. First time visit with friends. It's a small little pizza place with a few tables inside. It wasn't horribly crowded which was nice. I had the spinach calzone. The calzone was huge and very delicious.
