My friend and I had lunch here today. As we entered we were hit with warm air and a greasy smell. Very friendly waitresses who seemed very happy to see us. We were told to sit where ever we wanted. I chose under a ceiling fan with the hopes to be a bit cooler. Big Mikes serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu is limited, that's ok. I ordered the chicken strip, fries and coleslaw meal. The 4 chicken strips were plump, fresh and hot. The fries were crispy, hot and delicious. My friend chose biscuits and gravy. She said it was very delicious. I have to admit, but the ice tea was nasty. It was supposed to be half and half but it tasted watered down. The decor was sports of all kinds. They really should make an attempt to clean the fabric on their seats because they are spotted with former customers sloppiness. Big Mikes is clean and handicapped friendly. Will we go back? Probably not. But you never know. read more

Nice weekday special includes coffee. Two eggs, Meat, Potatoes, toast and coffee. 8.99. Was 6.99.... Pancakes are good. Service is swift and the waitresses are very pleasant. You can get your breakfast with a few minutes. Very fast. Food is very good. The restaurant has about 15 tables and a counter. Usually not filled. The bathrooms need remodeled. Ordered a Roast Beef Club. The roast Beef was old and had a funny taste. My lunch date couldn't wait to home and brush her teeth. The service was great. The restaurant itself was dumpy and had an odor to it. I should have known better when I walked in and there were only 4 people there. They don't have a website, which is hard to believe in this day and age. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

We had fish, clams and shrimp here last Friday and enjoyed our meal very much. Our server was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was just like a nice little diner and we would recommend and would return. For us that would be several miles, like Michigan -- but we'll be back! read more

The food was lowkey bad, the chicken tasted like plastic. the new girl seemed high as hell and even leaned over my sister to see my menu!! No personal space at all. At one point there was a loud alarm going off for at least 1 minute. Other customers started to look around scared and even make jokes about how the workers must've ran out the back after hearing the alarm. I have been here a lot since Mike opened. The food is inexpensive and fresh. I try to go for the fish fry every Friday. Great deal for haddock. They need to add hush puppies and desserts. (Hint Mike). They have specials every night of the week it seems. You can eat here for cheap. The wings on Saturday can't be beat in either flavor or price (39¢ wings is unheard of). The wait staff is fantastic. I've been waited on by every one (I think) and have never had an issue. Highly recommended eating here. read more

Very expensive. We ordered patty melts with FF and an order of onion rings. The Onion Rings and FF were $3.99 each, the patty melts were $7.99 each. the melt was more like a grilled cheese sandwich hardly any beef. Everything is ala cart. The rings you only got 7 and they were greasy and not very good at all. We will not be going back. read more

I ordered the fish dinner and I was amazed at the 2 large lightly breaded fillets that were brought out. Along with cole slaw and fries. Everything was great and all for only $10. No one else has this!!! But, If you want something super fancy with small portions then go spend a lot more money somewhere else. read more

I have eaten at Big Mikes numerous times and have always been 100 percent satisfied with the great food, the service and the great prices!!!! Everyone is super nice and professional. If there were 10 stars that is what ratings I would give. If you haven't been Monday through Thursday you are really missing out, as they are a little slower and the staff along with Big Mike have a little more time for one on one conversations and such!! This has become a favorite for our household. The service is quick and always super friendly. The portions are very large, especially considering the prices of the food. The homemade soups are always excellent and we have never been disappointed. If you are looking for someplace fancy, this isn't it. It's an old fashioned diner type establishment that serves quality, homecooked food at an excellent price. The burgers are excellent and the fish and chips special on Fridays is a favorite. We go at least a couple times a month and will continue to do so. Keep up the good work! read more
