I just wanted to stop for some fries and ice tea. I wasn't greeted by a friendly face but rather a snooty person. She obviously wasn't having a good day! i had to wait for about 15 minutes before my tea came out. Another 5 minutes passed when my french fries were brought out. The waitress plopped my dish on the table, spilled the tea as she placed the cup on the table, and then threw my straw on the table and walked away. She didn't bother cleaning up her mess that she had spilled. When I looked at my fries top looked fine but once you moved the ones on top, the bottom ones were so overcooked they were hard and crunchy. So I figured if I used ketchup, it would help make them not quite so hard. I squirted a glob of ketchup next to my french fries and scooped up a lunch of and put it in my mouth. I immediately had to spit it out because the ketchup was spoiled. It was disgusting. The french fries were terrible. The iced tea was some cheap flavored nasty stuff that left a film in my mouth. I paid for my meal and I walked out. I didn't even leave a tip because the girl did not come back and ask if everything was OK. I was very dissatisfied. Would I recommend Natalie's, no! Would I ever go ! It was a waste of money and the people were rude. Even the decor was looking like a little outdated hole in the wall. I was not impressed at all. It was so bad that I didn't even bother taking pictures. I've been searching for a good breaded pork tenderloin sandwich near where I'm visiting in Florida. I tried the first one today...not huge, but nice thickness, crispy and well seasoned and tender inside, nicely toasted bun and fresh toppings. $10...sides are extra, I opted for just the sandwich. I like this place! It's not super busy, they do have outdoor seating, the staff are very friendly, and the food is great quality! I see some comments about it being expensive, but I'd challenge that. You get what you pay for, so you are not going to pay $7 for a Denny's Grand Slam breakfast, but you will get much better quality food here!! (I cooked at Denny's back in the day, lol). My bill was $11 for 2 huge, fresh blueberry pancakes, 2 sausages, 2 scrabbled eggs, and bottomless coffee. Well worth it imho. It's real food made to order! The pancake batter is also sweet! Ordered a western egg omelet on rye toasted. It was delicious. It was fresh, hot, and had onions, peppers, and mushrooms. It was better than expected. The service was good, but needs some improvement. This is a mom and pop local restaurant. Friendly staff, plenty of seating in booths and tables. Walls have been painted drywall and hanging pictures. Decent. I would come again if it was the only breakfast place in town... however its not. The patrons stared us down as we came in. The restaurant wasnt very busy and we were waited on right away. Big menu. Slightly over priced. Ordered the eggs over medium and and hashbrowns extra done. The eggs were hard and hashbrowns soft, so not as ordered. The pancake was huge but was not cooked in the middle . My coffee was almost empty until we looked for my waitress then she got up from sitting. Then the check was not added right it was 6 bucks over and I don't know if they would have corrected it, if we were not already checking... This place was a bust for us. I first want to be clear my review is solely based off of my order today, because typically their breakfasts are AMAZING... today we called and ordered breakfast burritos. We wanted with bacon and sausage and agreed to pay the added price of $1.25 for each meat. Well. They were the smallest burritos we have ever had. Bacon, was probably not even a full slice and the sausage not even a full link. There was barely any cheese it was over all very disappointing especially when you pay over $9.00 for a burrito. Taco Bell bean burritos are more filling. Breakfast burritos should be made with the large tortillas and stuffed. Now.. to go look for something else to eat because this did not satisfy either of us and left us both wanting more to eat. read more

I had high hopes because I love eggs Benedict and they have a list of them. I probably should have just gone with the classic but I thought hey corned beef sounds good. It came and the hollandaise was broken but that didn't deter me from taking a bite, wow it was so salty I couldn't eat it yes I know corned beef can be but this was above and beyond. We had the best breakfast here! The food was really good! We had a family of 14 and they fit us in! It's an all American, good feeling, and warm environment. Also, I really have a soft spot for them because I thought I left my bag and the owner went back after hours, out of her way, to go look. We didn't find it but HOW KIND. Husband and I stopped here for lunch. Mainly because of their "Midwest pork tenderloin." We are from central IL and tenderloin is hard to come by. To say the least we weren't impressed. I ordered a French dip though and the first plate they brought out to me had a huge back curly hair on it wedged between the sandwich and the coleslaw. I noticed it right as she set the plate down. When I pointed it out she promptly took my plate and put in another order. We could over hear her talking about it to her coworkers. Overall the food was meh. You would never know there is a cute little restaurant back off the road and it's called Natalie's. I stopped here for lunch the other day and had a delicious BLT with fries! It was huge and the fries were thick and very good. The staff was very friendly and had my order ready right when I walked in since it was to go. There is a dine in area and a table outside as well. I hear they have a new cook and he sure knows how to bring the northern style to the south! Great place to get a quick bite to eat! Can't wait to go back and see what their breakfast is like. Scary. The shopping center it's in is basically hidden way back off of 52. The parking lot is filled with potholes, and the main anchor of the shopping center is gone. GEtting pass that going inside it's scary to. Not happy with the service, food and just the overall of the place. It's a shame because it is right next to where I live. Great place! Equivalent to rams diner. First we went to rams and it was jam packed. This place isn't in the prettiest of plazas but the food is awesome. Cherry jelly. The coffee is by far the best I've ever tasted. The people are really nice. The atmosphere is good. I'm really surprised this place hasn't taken off faster. We went for breakfast and the sausages are bigger than what you usually would get at Rams. Came out quickly. The furniture inside is a little out dated and mismatched but this place is just a diamond in the rough. The prices were really good too.
