One of the best places around for dinner. The buttered crosainnts are fantastic. My steak was cooked perfect. Our server was great. The salad was fresh and filling.

It's been a long time since I had been here. I had the pot pie and it was delicious. This is good comfort food. You can't get much better than cheddars. They had one when I lived in Spring Lake, New Jersey, but I think it went out of business. I'm glad we have them down here because when I want a good down home meal and have something like pot pie, I know where to go.

We arrived to celebrate our grandson's birthday and the place was crowded. We didn't have to wait long to be seated probably 10 minutes. A waitress was kind of friendly. She made sure our drinks were kept fall and she checked on us a couple of times. The food was very good for the amount that we were given. But I think the tastiest of all was the croissants with that sweet buttery sauce on the top. It tasted more like a dessert than anything. I had also ordered the potato soup and was not pleased with it. The potatoes were uncooked some of them almost raw. My chicken pot pie was very good. I highly recommend that. The alcoholic beverage that we had was extremely disgusting. It had coconut way too much coconut and rum. But oh well we had a very good time. The service was good. The food was good and the price was excellent for the amount of food we received. The ambience was decorated for the Christmas holiday was very loud, but that's OK. Plenty of handicap seating, plenty of parking and the bathroom was handicap accessible. I don't believe there was enough handicap parking spots out front there could've been a few more. If you like my reviews, please give me a like and follow and I'll take you to many places. Happy dining.

We were upset when we ordered a glass of Robert Mondavi Cabernet $(happy hour $4.99) and was told you were OUT of it..then we tried the $2.99 beer and Cheddars out of that as well..would not give us a replacement for same price...onion rings were skimpy and not fresh oil used..they were skinny and dark..will not return

We went here for my birthday and had a great meal. The food was tasty, reasonably priced and came out fast. Recommend trying the fried cheese, pasta with shrimp and pasta with chicken and sausage and shrimp. The tasty hot croissants are free, but not sure if they charge if you get more. There was no wait on a Monday evening. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. There's a bar in one room and the restaurant in the other.

Great time having lunch with my family. Our waitress was great, friendly, and attentive. The sides were good, especially the string beans and the baked potato with butter and sour cream. The salmon was a little dry on the inside. However, the crispness on the outside was good. My sister felt the same way about her salmon. But her sides were good as well, the baby carrots and rice. My nieces chicken was little under cooked. The sides were on point. My nephew chicken tender and fries were good. The drinks were on point. Overall, our waitress provided a great experience, so we let the food slide. So, for me personally, the drinks and the sides were awesome. .

The food was very good but the restaurant needed a good cleaning. Smelled like mold inside the restaurant.

I have to say, I loved the ambiance of Gavaghans. I am not entirely an Irish pub kind of girl, but…read morewhen you are in Rome you do what the Romans do, right? And in Sebring, that means you walk into the cool Irish pub on the circle and soak it all in. The interior alone makes it worth the visit. Dark wood, warm lighting, that cozy tucked-away pub feel that makes you forget you are in the middle of Florida. It feels transported. It is one of those places in Sebring that you just have to see because it is so unexpectedly cool inside. Service was great. I was there for a quick in and out, so I sat at the bar and kept it simple with a chicken Caesar salad. Nothing fancy. For the price, it was very fair, and the flavor held up. No complaints. It did exactly what it needed to do, which was give me a solid meal in a comfortable setting without overcomplicating things. Now let's talk about Sebring itself. Sebring is one of those towns in the middle of nowhere Florida where you find yourself thinking, "I wonder what it would be like to live here?" while also scratching your head a little. It reminds me of The Villages before The Villages became The Villages. There is a concept there. It is adorable. It is charming. And most of the time, it is very, very quiet. Personally, I would go stir crazy living there full time. But I can absolutely see the appeal. And to be fair, Sebring is not always sleepy. It comes alive during major events like the legendary 12 Hours of Sebring at Sebring International Raceway, which draws racing fans from all over the world. There is also the Sebring Soda Festival, the Highlands County Fair, and various car shows and seasonal events that suddenly flood the town with energy. During those times, I imagine the entire vibe shifts. If I were to come back, it would be for one of those big events or for some serious antique shopping, because that is where this area quietly shines. Gavaghans fits perfectly into that Sebring personality. Cozy. A little unexpected. Solid. Worth stepping into. Even if you are not an Irish pub person, it is one of those spots that makes you think, okay... I get it.

We sat ourselves at a table nearest a window. The place is dimly lit. We placed our order at the bar. We did not wait long for our meal. We each had the Cesar Salad with Bacon bits and a glass of red wine. The salad was a generous portion, fresh and crisp with just the right amount of housemade dressing. We each ate half of the salad and took the remaining home. The place was quiet with only one other table seated. We were able to converse with each other in a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere. It was a most pleasant evening. I recommend Gavaghans and plan to return on a weekend when the place might have a more livelier vibe.

Add a half booth, you know, the time with a bench on one side and chairs. On the other where we were presented with 2 coffee mugs and asked if we wanted anything to drink While we looked at the menu, we told the host that we will order shortly. So she said okay and left. Upon looking around, we noticed that several tables were empty. But still dirty, and then we looked at our coffee mugs, and saw that they were dirty. So when our waitress showed up within a couple of minutes we asked for new cups And some coffee, and as soon as she came back to the table, she just poured coffee into 2 new cups without us. Even looking at them and then given a few more minutes to place a order We noticed that the table beside us was starting to get cleaned then they left without taking the dishes, we thought that was kinda odd being that my friend and I were previous restaurant owners ourselves what we understand that people get busy and then about 5 minutes later, the person came back and finished up the table. And at that time we placed our order Of which I ordered a special that they were running at the time. Mine was a italian type sandwich, and she ordered a taco neal without avocado, the food arrived not too long after we were there presented to us in a decent manner. They both looked good but to our surprise, both of our meals were pretty bland and the aforementioned coffee that was given to us had a very burnt, bitter taste to it. So we both decided to just drink our lemon water which the limits for the most part and her bowl of fruit, whether the best tasting options that we were given. Because my Italian sandwich was bland and the chorizo on the sausage are in the sauce was very overpowering. And I really would like to have enjoyed my sandwich but it was bland and almost tasteless. It did look good as did my friends breakfast tacos, she told me that the best part of it was the fruit bowl to help take away the taste in her mouth from it, i like trying different things whenever I go to a First Watch when I go. But this one did not seem to match the expectation that I've had at others I've been to And lastly, as with a lot of restaurants these days, as we were opening straws And discarding napkins and putting in a nice pile for the waitress to take away, it sat there until after we were done with our meal. Typically when you go to a table and you're asking questions and credibility with customers, you would clear away any trash and stuff around them if you can And do anything you can to comfort your customer other than that the waitress was attentive, just in my opinion, not awake yet, I don't know if they had a bad weekend or what but this is not what you would want. At a higher end breakfast place, I may try it again in the future. And see if they get their stuff together, in my opinion, or I may just go to another and see how they compare.
