The newest place to eat in eastern Brooksville in the Ridge Manor area did not disappoint. I've had things ordered to go from here and it has always been tasty, but it was a different experience to go and eat with my family this time. My parents go here often though and have become regulars, so it was very nice to enjoy breakfast with them. Jax and Paula are absolute gems. Such lovely and personable staff! The food was hot and fresh. The home fries, scrambled eggs, and sausage links we're seasoned and cooked perfectly. I didn't get to eat the pancakes because I was so full, but I brought them home for later. The inside is decorated cute with train stuff and is very clean. The music played ranges from newer country to Jimi Hendrix which is a good mix I think, and they post a dad joke at the register which is great because seriously who can resist dad jokes?? I've given this place more chances than I should've . They fail every time . The service was incredibly slow, the food was disappointing and lacked flavor, and the overall experience didn't live up to expectations which were bare minimum to begin. I wouldn't recommend it. The staff were very inattentive and never came back to check if we needed anything after the food arrived . Very disappointing experience like the other 3 times previously . 10-10 DO NOT RECOMMEND . My breakfast burrito was cold . Was supposed to have peppers and onions and bacon . Have tried the the breakfast station before. About a yr ago. Food was cold and slow service. With that being said. Wife wanted breakfast food for lunch..I chose Shop but she won. She got the capt crunch French toast. Said it was good.. she also got the sausage patties.. I could tell they had been in the warming tray for awhile now.. 2 non fresh sausage patties. 5.00 buck. If I'd known they were 5 bucks. I would have said something.. I had the 1/2lb bacon cheese burger with tatertots.. no flavor.. I know Brooksville is full of older people but some salt and pepper would make a difference.. servers were great and cheerful and guy setting people was full of energy but food.. eehh read more

Went to Breakfast Station today with my mom and my sister. Our waitress was friendly when we sat down, took drink orders, and said that the eggs Benedict is a popular dish there. I ordered it. You can see in the pictures that the hollandaise sauce (if you could call it that!) was thick and lumpy. It was also room temperature. The egg looked like it was hard boiled instead of poached. I was hoping that I could order something different, but our waitress didn't come back until my mom and sister were both finished. We didn't get refills on the coffee either. She told us she got busy "cleaning up front" and was sorry she didn't get back to us. She did acknowledge that the hollandaise sauce was very thick and apologized for that (maybe that's not how it usually is?) However, she still charged me for it! I realize in retrospect that I probably should have asked for a manager, but I was so stunned I didn't think about it until after I got home. read more

I've been going to this restaurant for years and loved it. However my last two visits weren't up to their normal level. My usual order is eggs over medium, hash browns and crispy bacon. On my visit before this last one, my eggs were over easy (white was runny), hash browns were barely warm and bacon was limp. This past Sunday my eggs were over hard and most of the bacon was limp. Also my sister ordered pancakes with crispy bacon. The pancakes weren't even warm enough to melt the butter and bacon was limp. Mike had her pancakes replaced but the ones she got were barely cooked. Finally on the third try she got some that were properly cooked. I know they were super busy on Sunday, but that should not be an excuse. I'll give them one more chance before I find a new place to go. read more

This restaurant deserves so much more than 5 Stars, the level of compassion and kindness, customer service was so amazing. A phone call was made to the restaurant after a funeral service for a family member and they not only accommodated a large party but stayed open later for us, the manager greeted us at the door offering condolences. It meant a great deal to us because we had not planned ahead and it was impromptu but necessary for us. The food was great, comforting and delicious. The server was patient and friendly, we never lacked for anything. I look forward to going back to Brooksville. Fl to go to Breakfast Station again. read more

So adorable. Lime green booths, clunky white porcelain plates. I love it. Let me just say the service was 5-stars. The manager came round to check on me. The waitresses were friendly and cheerful. This diner is a chain for local Floridians and open 7 days a week from 7 AM til 3 PM. The food was all slightly undercooked. Nice presentation, though, with a slice of Florida orange and everything was delicious. I got excited because the waitress told me, in the sweetest Southern accent, "We have fresh blueberry muffins today!" It turned out to be Jiffy Muffin Mix, a household staple since 1930, family-owned, and made in Michigan. (Their corn muffin mix accounts for 91% of their sales, according to Wiki.) I wasn't expecting a Jiffy muffin, but hey, this diner is simple. A hearty breakfast and coffee for $11.37 Try it. You'll like it. read more

I can find the same breakfast @ IHOP for $12, Luigi's about the same $12 and same for Roosters Cafe. All within a mile and half of this place. I rated 1 start due to price. Food was fine except bacon was borderline cold as the toast. Waitress failed to identify they charge extra for sour dough toast - ridiculous. Little disappointed with a simple breakfast. Pre-made frozen biscuits which never taste good served with cold sausage gravy. Surprised the kitchen staff let it leave the counter. Sent it back to be microwaved... Sausage patties greasy! Noticeable this location is converting to lesser quality food from their food service provider vs. better quality ingredients. Don't understand the decision to go with pre-made frozen biscuits. Fresh biscuits take only minutes to mix and little time in the oven to match what Cracker Barrel serves. Good luck, won't return! Too many choices in town. Had breakfast at other Train Station locations don't remember it being this bad. Maybe ownership and kitchen staff that doesn't care. When a patron orders a coffee and an orange juice, and you offer two sizes but don't mention it and bring out a large and charge for large, that's just shady. Never been here before and that left a bad taste in my mouth before I had even ordered - plus was wasteful as I left over half the large glass of sour juice. Food was uninspired, thrown on the plate - I could have done better at home. Small container of Ken's salad dressing served with a $10+ salad crammed on a bread plate - could've gotten better from a take out window or again, just made this at home. Asked multiple times how the food was and, after seeing/hearing staff badmouth a couple who had had some sort of issue with their food, I said nothing. Floors were filthy - entire vibe inside seemed to be of stress and annoyance. Will not be back here! read more
