Went to this Waffle House last night for a late night meal. As always service and food was amazing and prompt. After a while the cook says he remembers me from coming in there a lot a while ago. I start talking to him and the 2 other staff members. I told them that Waffle House should buy the old Burger King on 19 in Spring Hill for a new location. Spring Hill desperately needs one. That location is also in close proximity to the Denny's as well. Most of the locations in Pasco have a Denny's next door or nearby so I find it more than fitting. I hope to see a location out here but if not, Hudson will still see my face and business.

We were attracted by the Yelp! reviews. I had my eye on the World Famous Chicken Benedict. It was…read moreeven better than everyone had said it would be! Our server, Jerrica, was wonderful and helped us choose from among the many appetizers as well as and the entree selections for my wife and myself. It has a very local homey feel in all of the best of ways (i..e., made from scratch, not too kitschy). It was a better experience than we expected, and we had high expectations because of all the great reviews we had read. Please make the time to come on down here. (We were in NPR to kayak ourselves.) Yes, I wrote here because I'm writing this before we have finished dessert. Well, I should say our second dessert. We couldn't decide so we went with the Limoncello cake AND the homemade bread pudding, which is huge! We ate the first desert so quickly I didn't get a picture of it. Pics never look as good as the food IRL, but I put one in for posterity. (It looks pretty good!)

Our drinks were served right away and refilled when they got low. I ordered the Phili cheesesteak, which was ok. Cut from prime rib, very good. My friend ordered a Rubin, which she said was just ok. The bread was toasted a bit too much and cut her lip. Her sweet potato fries were excellent. My fries were perfectly made. They had a seasoning that gave them that extra umph. Crispy but not too crispy. Our waitress checked on us a few times. It was loud, that was ok. Outside seating was pretty full, empty tables had left over dishes from previous diners so we ate inside. As far as Herschel's scratch kitchen goes, I'd give it 5 stars. But, the parking is horrendous!!!! I had to park 3 blocks away and I'm disabled! The streets are very narrow too. Will I go back? Only if someone drove me. I do recommend you giving Herschel's scratch kitchen a try. Good food, a bit pricy. Good luck finding a parking spot.

Oh my gosh. What kind of Yelp Elite am I to have forgotten to take pictures of our brunch? And…read moreyet... My son and I went to breakfast - this restaurant is right next to Publix, so there's plenty of parking. Strip mall type of situation which I guess is why I've overlooked the place previously. Glad we didn't, today. The restaurant was packed!! Yet, we were able to get into the last table within a few minutes. As we sat, it seemed customer turn over was consistent too so I'm not sure anyone had a long wait. He got the ham Benny - it was delicious and big! He brought some home for later. I got Eric's Special - 2 eggs, 2 bacon, w sausage with fruit cup and a huge warm biscuit. I brought some home too. Coffee refilled several times. Put waiter was not only professional and really nice, but also funny. Apparently I have to go back and (properly) take pictures. There is a 4% upcharge for using a credit card but, since I own my own small business, I understand that.... It IS an expense.

I have to say, are very thick and fluffy. I only ordered two and two strips of bacon and some grits and I don't think I can eat all of this. They're so thick. They're very delicious the restaurant, the breakfast club, is a little noisy but that's OK. People are having a good time there's kids the kids are having a good time wheelchair accessible even the bathrooms. And the staff is very friendly and on the ball. I highly recommend breakfast club of seven Hills. You won't regret it. Great food at a high price. Just for the two pancakes, two strips of bacon and a small bowl of grits plus tip cost me $20 just for lunch. The original bill was $17 and some odd cents and I thought that was a mistake and I gave her a 20 and I said give my server this amount of tip because I always like to tip well. And she said well that would be a two dollar and some odd cent tip. She suspect that's OK. That was all the cash I had on me. And they have a great big notice on the area where you go to pay that they charge you 4% if you use a credit card! Yeah, 4%!

Out of my bookmarks and into my belly. Finally, after years of thinking about Brunchies, now I can…read moretalk about Brunchies-and there are good things to say. It's in a strip mall, along SR 54-west of Wesley Chapel, but not by much. It was bigger inside than I expected and had a cozy/quaint family feel to it. Lots of tables booths-busy on a Monday morning but no wait-and it wasn't loud-just "humming." My server came right away. He was polite and attentive and kept track of me well. I appreciated his offer of a to go cup for my water. This was going well. And then, there's the food. I ordered the goddess omelet-made with three egg whites, spinach and so much gorgeous, salty, tangy, glorious feta. I didn't wake up thinking I was going to have the best omelet of my life that day... but phhh, I did! It was filling, but not heavy or greasy. It was cooked to perfection-and the fillings were fresh and abundant. It came with potatoes (or grits) that were also cooked perfectly-not soggy or too hard-and lucky for me, no onions. It was also the perfect portion. Any more and I would have felt guilty for eating them all (I never leave a potato bite behind). And... after craving bacon for about a month... I gave in and got some-nice big slices, thick and crispy. This was a happy and tasty surprise. A clean, casual, yummy place with plenty of parking. I will be back to Brunchies a bunch(ies).
